Xue Cong glanced at Yue Xin, inspecting carefully from head to toe.
Thankfully, Yue Xin was looking healthy and vibrant as usual. Which means that the physician was here for something else.
Her guess was confirmed with Yue Jie handing her a piece of paper.
"What's this?" She asked and had a glance at what was written on the paper.
By now, she was able to recognize most of the characters written on it and she could see that it was a prescription of some sort.
Yue Jie nodded at her with a smile and said, "It's for stabilizing the child."
"Stabilizing the child?!"
Xue Cong's eyes and mouth opened wide and she remained so for a few moments before she went back to normal.
She glanced back at Yue Xin and held onto Yue Xin's hands.
"Is it true?"
"Yes…" Yue Xin nodded at her and Xue Cong patted the back of Yue Xin's hand.
"You should have told me earlier so I could make arrangements for you." Xue Cong said and Yue Xin replied, "I wasn't sure earlier."
