part-1:
----wither kings pov----
[nether castle]
The Nether trembled with its usual madness—lava seas bubbling.
Ghasts wailing in the skies, piglins clashing over scraps of gold.
But deeper, far beneath the fortresses and the warped forests, stood a castle built from blackstone and crying obsidian.
And in that castle seated was me.the Wither King.
Once, i had been a child, a normal child who enjoyed the warmth of his family.
But as i grew older, my hair began to turn ash grey, and my eyes turned green.
Whatever i touched withered.
Even though it didn't work on people.
The crops began withering.
Those who ate them began to fall ill.
It's not been too long since i was banished from the village.
I kept wandering the infinite world.
Sleeping under a tree, stalked and hunted by zombies.
But surprisingly, the skeletons were used to defend me.
They became my only family.
But one day a suspecisious portal caught my eye.
Strange creatures were coming out of it.
The piglins.
They started attacking me as soon as they saw me.
I didn't waver.
I killed them with the fighting methods the skeletons taught him.
I entered the portal.
The portal to the Nether.
I wandered for a while.
But the nether was chaotic.
The piglins and withers were always at war.
I ignored it.
But one day.
I was sitting in the soul relm of Nether, eating something.
I was approached by a baby piglin who seemed to be hungry.
It was wary.
I tried to approach it, but it ran away.
So I thought of playing with it for a while.
One day, I was doing the same thing at the same place.
It came.
Hiding at its usual place, peeking at me jealously with eyes seeming to say, "I want some".
This time, I ignored it.
I did the same for three days.
One day, a miracle happened.
This time.
He approached me with a sword in his hand. Legs trembling.
Eyes telling 'give me your everything'.
Just like a cute little thief with a toy gun.
Before he could even react, I flicked his head, making him stumble backward.
I stood up, walking toward him.
He closed his eyes and curled up.
The attack he was expecting didn't hit.
He opened his eyes only to find a little cooked chicken in my arms and my warm smile.
He took the chicken and started devouring it as if it were the end of the world.
Even after that, he was still wary of me.
Vanishing whenever I approached him.
But he began visiting often.
Before knowing, we have gotten closer.
Sometimes he would approach me with a sword, and then with a stick.
Only to be knocked with a single flick on the head.
I found it fun, seeing him approach me like that, only to be knocked like that.
After some days, he stopped visiting me.
I ignored it for some days.
I felt something was wrong and decided to look for him.
I crossed the soul biome and reached the fire biome, where the piglin kingdom is.
The scene there made my stomach churn.
The piglin king has been using his own
people as sacrifices.
He is hoping to summon a piglin warrior to invade the human realm.
Even children weren't spared.
He sacrificed his own people.
Actually, I wouldn't have cared, but something in me changed.
I moved on my own that day.
I killed him.
The piglin king, I didn't stop that day.
I couldn't.
When I came to my senses, I was already holding the piglin king's head in my hand.
Blood covering my face.
Not mine, the piglin king's.
The remaining piglins, who were the victims of the tyranny of the piglin king and the wither skeliton's who opposed the idea of invading the human realm, came there and pledged allegiance to me.
After that, I explored the Nether and united the Nether, killed tyrant Wither and other piglin kings.
After uniting the nether, I became the ...
Became the only leash that controlled the nether.
But centuries passed.
Then millennia.
His people vanished, his mind frayed, when his companions rotted into a husk of soul-fire and bone. And yet… he remained the same, endured.
At times, he prayed. At times, he cursed. But most nights, he simply whispered into the empty throne room:
"Please… send someone. Anyone. End this."
Only the silence answered his desperate wish.
But one day, a mysterious voice called out to him.
Oh! Great King of Nether, I heard your wish, but I had the selfish desire for you to guard the Nether until a challenger chosen by me arrives.
It didn't matter as.
I saw the hope.
If it's that 'chosen', it may be possible for him.
He thought.
Part 2 – Roanna's Trial by Fire
Roanna has entered the nether.
--------roanna's pov------
The Nether was hell itself.
Fortresses crumbled beneath Roanna's blade.
Blazes screamed as her sword cut their fiery forms apart, their fireballs crashing like meteors against her shield.
Her azure-glowing weapon seared through them, yet for every blaze slain, another rose in its place.
"Too many!" I spat, sweat and ash stinging her face. But I pressed on.
Because this was MY trial.
The trial that demanded blood, fire, and will.
Then the true nightmare arrived.
Three Withers tore through the sky, their combined roars shaking the realm itself.
Their skull-shaped projectiles rained like black meteors, devouring everything they struck.
The battle dragged on for days.
Explosions shattered fortresses.
Soul fire consumed the land.
Her armor scorched and cracked, her body bruised and broken, yet enchantments and fire resistance kept her alive. Barely.
On the seventh night, the endless storm finally calmed.
MY sword gleamed with the last remnants of Wither essence as the three beasts
collapsed, exploding into voidlight.
Stars—three radiant Nether Stars—fell at my feet.
i fell to my knees, clutching them close.
"Still… alive," i rasped, my breath ragged, my eyes still burning with unbroken determination.
Then the ground trembled.
Obsidian cracked apart, and a path revealed itself: blackstone stairs descending into a shadowed abyss.
The throne had awakened.
The Wither King was waiting.
