Las walks slowly, carefully, along the right side of the arena, watching the metal lizard with sharp focus, trying to measure the distance for his next strike—his eyes locked on it the entire time.
The lizard stays still.
Its clawed fingers scrape against each other—metal rubbing on metal, like a row of sharp knives getting ready to cut flesh apart.
Las lifts the staff to the side—
—and throws it like a spinning disc straight at the machine's head.
The moment the staff flies toward it, Las bursts into motion, rushing like a black shadow from the left side of the arena, charging straight for the machine's leg.
But the machine sees through the trick.
It tilts its head just enough to avoid the staff.
The staff slams into the wall and sticks deep into the metal.
At the same moment, the lizard lunges forward too, charging directly at Las.
Every step it takes releases purple electricity beneath its feet, crackling from the soles of its metal limbs—
—and with each impact, the entire arena shudders, trembling under the violent seismic force of its movement.
As it closes in on Las, the machine raises both of its metal arms, spreads its palms wide, and prepares to strike.
Its sharp claws come down in a brutal sweep, tearing through the air as they slash toward him.
Las avoids them by leaping through the air again and again, slipping past the descending claws by inches.
Then he sees it—
an opening.
In one fast movement, he jumps up onto the machine's right arm and, keeping his balance, starts running along the length of the metal limb.
As he reaches the upper arm, he spots a purple cable running through the machinery.
A crooked grin spreads across his face.
He grabs the cable with both hands and tries to rip it out with force—
—but the cable erupts with electricity.
A violent current surges through it, burning his hands.
Las jerks in pain and shouts, angry:
Las:
"Damn it!"
The machine turns its head and looks directly at him with its bright glowing violet eyes.
The light sharpens.
It locks onto him—
preparing to fire the beam.
A violet beam blasts out from the machine's eyes like a laser, aimed straight at Las.
But Las drops fast—jumping down and falling onto the ground on his back—
—and the beam misses him.
Instead, it strikes the machine's own upper arm, hitting the exposed section and melting through the cable that links the arm to the central core.
For one sharp second—
everything freezes.
Then—
BOOM.
The entire arm explodes, bursting apart in a violent purple blast that sends shattered metal and burning fragments flying across the arena.
The robot scream and loses its balance for a few moments and starts staggering left and right like it's drunk, its gigantic feet grinding and screeching against the floor.
Bobo:
"Good. Nice work. Keep going."
Las shoots him an angry look while, at the same time, trying to avoid the machine's huge feet—rolling underneath them like a cylinder as they crash down around him.
Las:
"Shut up."
The robotic lizard lets out a glitching, distorted voice—thin and heavy at the same time—like a drunk, broken machine caught in a short circuit.
Robot:
"Wi—wi—wi—
I'll… cruuush youuu…
li—li—little stu—stu—pid
mo—monkeeeey…"
The robotic lizard regains its balance and locks its violet eyes onto Las.
It raises one massive foot—
—and slams it down with force.
Las rolls away just in time, then springs up and starts running on all fours, circling around the machine.
The lizard reacts instantly.
It lifts its iron tail and begins striking down at him over and over—like a steel whip, each удар crashing into the ground with violent force.
Las finds his moment.
He leaps up again, lands on the tail, and climbs fast along its length, reaching the machine's back—
—but the machine twists its head backward in perfect sync with its spine, lining him up.
The glow in its eyes sharpens.
Another beam—
Las prepares to dodge—
…but it never fires.
Instead—
WHAM.
The tail snaps violently, throwing Las off and slamming him back to the ground.
Las:
"What was that?"
Robot Lizard (glitching laugh):
"Ho… ho… ho…
Tr—tr—tricked youuu…"
Las smirks.
Las:
"No… I tricked you."
In his hands, he holds a sharp, stinger-like piece torn from the tail.
Las:
"While you were swinging that thing around…
I pulled this out.
It's not a stinger—
it's a rocket."
Robot Lizard:
"…What?"
Las yanks his staff, snaps the rocket onto it like a magnet, and hurls it forward like a spear.
Las:
"Take this!"
The machine tilts its head, dodging easily.
Robot Lizard (mocking):
"Haha… stu—stu—stupid monkeeeey…
My head tracks every move you ma—ma—make—"
Las:
"Who told you I was aiming for your head?"
The staff spins mid-air—
—and redirects.
Straight for the central core.
Robot Lizard:
"You idi—"
BOOOOM.
A massive explosion erupts from the core, tearing through the machine from the inside out.
The entire body detonates in a violent burst of fire, smoke, and flying metal, fragments blasting across the arena in all directions.
The shockwave hits Las—
—and sends him flying hard across the arena, slamming into the edge.
He drops—
unconscious.
A few minutes later...
Las tries to push himself up, using the staff for balance.
His vision is blurred.
His body is exhausted, torn apart by the impact against the wall.
He grabs his head, trying to recover.
Around him, there is only dust and chaos.
Fragments of the machine drift and fall past him, crossing over his head as the smoke slowly moves through the arena.
Las:
"My head..."
Then—
right in front of him—
he sees the lizard beginning to reassemble itself all over again.
Las's eyes widen in horror.
He shouts in desperation:
Las:
"No—no, no, no, no!
It can't be—no!
I killed you!
That's not fair!
No, no—!"
His legs give out.
He drops to his knees.
The robotic lizard continues rebuilding itself from the beginning, piece by piece,
until it stands there again like a brand-new machine.
It steps toward Las, raising its massive claws, preparing to strike him down.
Robot Lizard:
"Now you die...
crazy monkey."
From above, Bobo's voice cuts in sharply.
Bobo:
"Alright. That's enough."
The machine powers down at once, lowering its head and body, going still.
Las stares at it, breathing hard.
Las:
"What happened?"
Bobo:
"It's over."
Las:
"What do you mean it's over?
I was about to crush it a second time."
Bobo:
"Yeah, sure.
That's why you were whining like a baby whose mommy didn't buy him ice cream.
Hahahahaha."
Las:
"Stop laughing.
You sound like a broken horn.
Now you'll see—
I'll crush that machine a second—"
The machine begins to wake up again.
Las:
"Now I'll sh—"
Las suddenly drops to the floor—
—and falls asleep.
Bobo looks down at him and yawns.
Bobo:
"I wonder what would happen if your enemy were real...
and this happened to you in the middle of battle."
