Chapter 03: Temple of the Minotaurs
To complete the team, there were also three girls.
Monica was a girl of approximately nineteen years old, although her appearance suggested otherwise. She seemed much more mature. Her red hair and striking figure accentuated her curves and attracted a great deal of attention.
Mimi walked beside Monica as if she were her younger sister. Her beautiful brown hair and delicate face gave her a unique charm.
Lastly, there was Ivana, a girl who radiated purity. Even though she was an adult, her innocent-looking eyes and black hair gave her a strangely delicate appearance.

GOBLIN DEN
Everyone received a notification on their system panel.
The agent then organized the team according to everyone's strengths. Monica and the bald man were positioned at the front, while the innocent-looking girl stood right behind them. The others took positions along the sides, with the agent and Alex in the center of the formation.
Soon, the goblins were spotted.
They were small green monsters wearing leather loincloths. Their wrinkled noses occupied most of their faces, while their yellow eyes radiated savagery.
Upon seeing the girls, the green monsters became excited, letting out wild screams as they attacked without any coordination. Most of them wielded axes with stone blades, while others carried shields or bows and arrows, demonstrating a certain degree of intelligence.
With a single swing of her flaming sword, Monica managed to sever the head of one of them. The bald man was not far behind. His two-handed axe crushed the heads of two goblins charging toward him.
Seeing their comrades being killed, the goblins felt nothing but wild excitement. Stepping over the corpses of their fallen companions, they charged forward in a suicidal attack.
Alex trembled with fear when an arrow fired by a goblin nearly struck his face. Luckily, he dodged it at the last second.
To his dissatisfaction, the agent did nothing to protect him. Unable to equip a weapon, Alex had no idea how he would fight.
Mimi used her staff to conjure several arrows of light. Although they caused little damage, four of them were enough to finish off one goblin. This allowed Monica to move freely across the battlefield, killing a considerable number of goblins.
Augusto, the bald man, and his brother Cardoso fought side by side, protecting each other. Augusto used the power of his muscles to crush any goblin that approached him. As they closed in, proving the might of his axe, Cardoso covered his brother by firing volleys of arrows from his old bow.
Alfredo and Paulo both used long swords. Even with their combined strength, the two struggled to kill the goblins and barely managed to keep themselves safe on the battlefield.
For Ivana, the battlefield was very safe. Whenever one of the green monsters approached her, the agent moved and instantly killed it.
Alex, who was struggling not to draw attention to himself, could barely follow the agent's movements.
Whenever a goblin approached Alex, the agent did nothing. He even left the path clear. To survive, Alex hid behind Ivana, and whenever the girl was targeted, the agent moved to protect her, leaving Alex somewhat pleased to take advantage of the girl's protection.
After a few hours, all the goblins occupying the outer edge had been defeated.
While everyone rested, Alex drilled into the skulls of the dead goblins in search of magic gems. It took him about three hours to finish clearing the battlefield.
When night fell, Alex and the others set up camp.
The exploration would continue the next day, according to the agent. His mission was to obtain the goblin king's magic gem and collect any treasures stored in the king's chambers.
In the dead of night, Alex couldn't sleep.
He just wanted this nightmare to end and to return to his world, where there was no such strangeness.
As he walked around, he heard a noise that intrigued him. When he followed it, he came across a scene that made him stop.
He peeked through the cracks in a tent and immediately realized what was happening inside.
Monica and Mimi were together, their earlier conversation having clearly taken a more intimate turn. Their voices were barely audible beneath the soft flickering of the candlelight, followed by moments of silence that left little to the imagination.
Alex quickly realized that he had stumbled upon a private moment.
He looked down and felt his face grow hot.
Monica suddenly glanced toward the entrance.
For a moment, their eyes met.
The expression on her face seemed to suggest that she wasn't particularly bothered by his presence.
Moved by curiosity and desire, Alex took a step toward the tent.
Then a shiver ran through his entire body.
He felt that if he took one more step, his life would end there.
Suppressing his desire, he hurriedly left.
As he ran away, he came across something shocking once again.
Ivana and the agent were also together, clearly sharing a private moment of their own. Ivana's innocent demeanor had disappeared, replaced by an unexpected confidence.
She affectionately called him "Daddy" as they remained together inside the tent.
Alex froze.
He immediately turned around.
Whatever was happening inside was none of his business.
He quickly returned to his tent and spent the remainder of the night trying to forget everything he had witnessed.
Morning finally arrived after a long and restless night.
Everyone seemed excited, except Alex, who hadn't slept a wink.
Using the same formation as the previous day, the team managed to reach the central area of the dungeon.
This time, the agent had to join the battle, as the closer they got to the goblin king's chambers, the larger the horde became.
In the middle of their exploration, they came across a gigantic door that was not part of the original dungeon map provided by the Hunters' Association.
Although it could be said that they had two options, it was more accurate to say that the agent had two options.
Apparently, even the goblins avoided this area.
The door radiated a mysterious and ancient sacred energy.
Joaquim did not consider the prisoners under his care to be human beings. He only saw them as resources to be used for the benefit of the association and himself.
He never asked for their opinions, much less considered their lives.
Not to mention that he had secretly received another mission to dispose of a certain rapist.
Approaching the sacred door, he extended his numb hand.
A notification immediately appeared before everyone at the same time.
