Garion guided Rachel back to the bed, keeping a steady hand on her shoulder.
She was still unsteady after vomiting, her weight leaning into him more than usual.
He moved carefully, matching her pace, making sure she didn't lose her balance.
When they reached the bed, he eased her down to sit. "Easy," he said, his voice low. "Don't push yourself."
Rachel frowned, sluggish and pale, one hand pressed to her stomach. "I know," she muttered. "I just feel awful."
Garion adjusted the pillow behind her, making sure it supported her properly before helping her lie back.
He moved with quiet efficiency, focused on keeping her comfortable. "Then don't think about anything right now. Just rest."
She didn't argue. That alone told him how bad she felt. Rachel shifted onto her back, her body loosening as she settled in.
"Alright," she said softly. "Just for a bit."
Garion pulled the blanket over her, tucking it in without fuss.
