I know it's been a little over a week since the last update, so I wanted to leave a quick note.


My aunt passed away recently, and her funeral was on August 28. I spent these past few days with my family and ended up stepping away from the novel for a while.


I'm slowly getting back to writing now, and I intend to resume updates soon.
