"A permanent gate," Hanachirusato noted, her fox ears twitching. "I expected more... fireworks. But I suppose utility is better."
"Let's go," Su Han ordered. "Hakushin Clan, lead the vanguard. Secure the landing zone."
"Yes, Master!"
The Youkai roared, rushing through the portal. The Shogunate army followed, boots marching in unison.

The villagers of the small settlement froze.
The sky had torn open. From the void, thousands of soldiers poured out. They wore armor unlike anything from this era. Some were human; others were clearly demons (Youkai) with fox ears and tails.
"Demons! An army of demons!"
"Lady Kaede! Help!"
An old woman with an eyepatch hobbled out of her hut, clutching a bow. Kaede looked at the invading force and felt her blood run cold.
This wasn't a bandit raid. This was an apocalypse.
At the front of the army walked a man with silver hair and a woman in purple robes. The pressure radiating from them forced the villagers to their knees. It wasn't magic; it was sheer, biological fear.
Su Han looked at the trembling villagers.
"From this day forth," he announced, his voice calm but absolute, "this land is under the protection of the Inazuma Shogunate. You are now my subjects."
"Subjects?" Kaede stammered. "Are you... gods?"
Before she could finish, a scream pierced the air.
"HELP! GET AWAY!"
From the nearby forest, a girl in a strange green uniform (Kagome Higurashi) burst into the clearing.
Chasing her was a massive, grotesque centipede woman—Mistress Centipede.
"GIVE ME THE SHIKON JEWEL!" The monster screeched, drool dripping from its jaws. "I smell it! It's mine!"
The monster lunged at the girl, ignoring the massive army standing ten meters away.
Raiden Ei frowned.
"Noisy."
She didn't even draw the Musou Isshin. She simply flicked her wrist with her standard tachi.
Flash.
A purple line bisected the world.
There was no sound at first. Then, the atmosphere split.
CRACK-BOOM.
Mistress Centipede didn't just die. She was erased. The lightning slash vaporized her instantly, then continued onward, carving a massive trench through the forest and obliterating half a mountain in the distance.
Kagome froze, staring at the empty space where the monster used to be.
Pinned to the God Tree nearby, a boy with dog ears (Inuyasha) stared wide-eyed at the purple-haired woman.
"Holy crap..." he whispered, his seal trembling. "That woman is a monster."
Su Han looked at the destruction and sighed. "Ei, we're here to conquer the world, not delete it."
"Sorry," Ei sheathed her blade. "It was annoying."
