Chapter 277 - Chapter 277: The Search for the Furnace Fragments, and the Whole Cake Island Mission!

Su Han had originally thought that the Raiden Shogun's strike that day had utterly pulverized the Mikage Furnace. He assumed it was the kind of destruction where not even dust remained.

However, she gave him a surprise today!

As it turned out, there might still be some fragments left. Though these shards were few, reassembling them into something functional would be quite a challenge.

Up in the sky, the Raiden Shogun carried Su Han as they flew toward the open sea. Suddenly, she remembered something.

"By the way... even if we find those fragments, I cannot forge them for you. You will have to find someone else to smelt them..."

"That's fine. Worst case, I'll go to Zhongli—Morax. He ought to know a thing or two about the art of smithing!"

"I see. Then I am at ease," the Raiden Shogun replied, a rare smile gracing her lips.

Truth be told, there were many things she didn't understand—socializing, managing subordinates, cooking, political affairs, or even setting up complex barriers. Looking at it now, she seemed only to know how to fight. But with Su Han around, she didn't have to worry about those tedious matters. It was much like the dynamic between her sister and herself: she would handle the fighting, while the other managed Inazuma. After a long day of work, they could still find time for "physical activities." It was a win-win situation.

Shortly after, they arrived at the site of the previous destruction. Looking at the vast, boundless ocean, Su Han sighed. "This looks like it's going to be troublesome..."

"Should I send soldiers to help you search? With more people, we should find it quickly," she suggested.

Su Han shook his head. "No need. This ocean is far too vast; it's a needle in a haystack. Besides, Inazuma is short-staffed as it is. If we move that many men, what happens to the rest of the islands?"

"But..."

"Don't worry, I have a way." Su Han thought of Hu Tao's mermen. He opened the Dimensional Mission Group to ask for her help.

Inside the Chat Group

Su Han: "@Hu Tao... are you around? I need a hand with something."

Hu Tao: "Eh? How did you know I arrived in Inazuma?! Hahaha... Talk about being on the same wavelength! I was just coming over to expand my business, and here you are asking for help. Hehe!"

Mona: "I just saw you flying out with the Raiden Shogun. Are you looking for something?"

Su Han: "Yeah. I tried to refine a dragon into an elixir earlier, but I failed. Not only did the furnace explode, but the Dragon Core was almost lost. On the Shogun's suggestion, I'm looking for the Mikage Furnace fragments. If I use that as a core, I should be able to handle the pressure."

Yae Miko: "I see. Something capable of refining the aura of a Demon God would indeed have the necessary durability. But wasn't the Mikage Furnace split apart?"

Kamisato Ayaka: "There should still be some fragments left!"

Hu Tao: "Understood! You need my army of mermen! Hang tight... I'll be in Inazuma by noon."

Eula: "Why hasn't the mission refreshed yet? Time is moving so slowly. It's only ten o'clock... I'm too lazy to even move for the next hour!"

Diluc: "Hahaha... don't be anxious. Move your body a bit and time will fly. I wonder what the mission will be this time."

Ningguang: "The worlds of Legend of Sword and Fairy, Naruto, One Piece, and Fox Spirit Matchmaker currently offer the highest returns. If we get a repeat entry, our strength will leap again, and we can secure more treasures."

Yae Miko: "I have a question. It's been a while—most of you should have become Level 2 members just through sign-ins, right? Show us what rewards you've gotten."

Beidou: "You already know about my first reward—that useless potion. My second reward was better: an Enchantment Scroll that grants the [Sunder] effect. It has a chance to directly destroy an opponent's weapon upon impact!"

Kamisato Ayaka: "For me... the mission was to defeat a group of snowman-like monsters. I received a magical item: a Small Snowman. I can use my elemental power to summon it to assist me in battle. It's actually quite cute."

Hu Tao: "Hehe... I wanted to save this as a surprise, but since everyone's sharing: my second private mission was to assist a guy named Zhao Yun in battle. After five hundred kills, I got his spear technique inheritance. My weapon handling is so much smoother now!"

Su Han realized she had visited the world of the Three Kingdoms. To receive the inheritance of Zhao Yun was an incredibly powerful reward.

Sucrose: "Mine was a Two-Star independent mission to research compound potions. That island had plants with unimaginable power. Baizhu is cultivating the samples I brought back; we should see the results soon."

Keqing: "@Ningguang... I recall you were the first to hit Level 2 just by signing in? What was your reward?"

Ningguang: "Mine was simple. I had to defeat a vampire, and the reward was a Cross that can cast high-level defensive magic. It was only a Level 1 mission."

Jean: "My Level 2 mission was a Two-Star independent task. The reward was a talent: Wind Perception. It makes my Anemo powers sharper and easier to control. My Observation Haki even improved because of it!"

Su Han: "Good grief... you've all grown at lightning speed. Anyone else?"

Lisa: "Me, of course! A Two-Star independent mission to solve a puzzle in a secret chamber. It took me all of ten minutes. The reward: Alchemical Inheritance from an Ancient Mage."

Eula: "Agh! I'm so jealous! Level 2 members have it so good! Su Han... if there's a mission I can join next time, please let me go!"

Xiangling: "My turn! My mission was to defeat a chef named Stephen Chow (Tong Niu). He used 'Inner Strength' for cooking—I almost lost! But I won in the end and got a snack recipe. Even Madame Ping was shocked by the first thing I made..."

Hu Tao: "What dish?"

Xiangling: "Pee-Pee Beef Balls (Urinary Beef Balls). They are incredibly springy. I had Guoba help me pound the beef; he can finish a hundred pounds in five minutes."

Su Han: "..." A literal god making beef balls. Impressive.

Klee: "And me! I'm Level 2 now as well! But the item I got was strange; Master is still helping me modify it."

Mona: "What kind of terrifying treasure requires an Adeptus to modify it?"

Klee: "Hehe... look at this! I took a 'photo' (screenshot) when Master wasn't looking yesterday!"

As the picture loaded, Su Han was left speechless. It was a massive toy airplane—the kind a child could actually sit inside. But this was no toy; Cloud Retainer had modified it into a magical artifact inscribed with countless runes, spells, and traces of Flying Sword techniques.

It was over. Klee had officially become a "Bomber Girl" with no turning back. Su Han could already envision her flying across the sky, raining bombs down. He truly felt pity for her future enemies.

Encountering Klee... they were truly unlucky.
