Chapter 392 - Resurrecting Pakura

The war in the Land of Wind gradually subsided, and the surrendered Suna ninjas were concentrated and resettled.

Nawaki's Wood Release unit began to take over the defenses of the desert castle.

The high-ranking officials of Sunagakure and the surrendered ninjas stood on both sides, not daring to breathe.

Manaka, Karin, and Shion, the three princesses, stood shoulder to shoulder, looking at the figure appearing in the golden light pillar in the center.

That was their father, Shun. He was about to decide the fate of the Ninja World.

Faint golden light floated around him, and the unintentional pressure he exuded plunged the entire hall into silence.

Rasa bowed respectfully and said in awe, "Shun-sama, Sunagakure has completely submitted and is willing to obey your command."

Shun nodded slightly. His right palm gently lifted, and a crystal coffin rose from the shadows on the ground.

The woman inside the coffin was dressed in a red tight-fitting suit, with long dark green hair tied up, and the tips of her bangs on both sides were a striking yellow.

This sleeping female corpse, exuding a hint of unwilling resentment, was the Genius ninja from Sunagakure with Scorch Release who had died more than ten years ago: Pakura.

"Is that... Pakura? What does he want to do by summoning a female corpse at this time?"

Some older Suna ninjas widened their eyes, their faces full of shock. Then it turned to deep guilt, and they all lowered their heads, not daring to look directly at her corpse.

Pakura, once famous in the Ninja World for her Scorch Release, had died tragically in another land due to some special reasons, becoming a regret that Sunagakure was unwilling to mention.

Shun looked at Pakura in the crystal coffin and said lightly, "It's too regrettable for such a beauty to die tragically on the battlefield."

He waved his hand, and golden Chakra flowed into the coffin like a stream, seeping into Pakura's body, repairing her already cold body.

The lid of the crystal coffin slowly opened.

Pakura's eyelashes trembled slightly, and her originally pale cheeks gradually regained color.

Her Scorch Release Chakra was awakened by the golden Chakra, slowly recovering like a dormant volcano. The air around her gradually became hot, and red Chakra patterns appeared on her body.

"Uh... I... didn't die?"

Pakura let out a soft moan and slowly opened her eyes.

She instinctively raised her hand, but found that the original fatal wound had completely healed.

She suddenly leaped from the crystal coffin, and her Scorch Release Chakra instantly erupted, the temperature of the entire hall suddenly rose, and the wooden tables and chairs even began to smoke.

Pakura's yellow pupils locked onto the high-ranking Sunagakure officials in front, roaring with bone-chilling hatred, "Traitors of Sunagakure, do you think you can hide the truth forever? I fought desperately on the front line, but was betrayed by you. You tricked me into going to Kirigakure for peace talks, but sold me to Kirigakure, letting them take my life. I must make you pay for what you have done."

Scorch Release: Extremely Steaming Murder!

Several fireballs whistled towards Chiyo and Ebizo, the hot airflow almost igniting the air.

Chiyo and Ebizo moved quickly, dodging the attack.

As Pakura's killing intent grew stronger, gold dust suddenly surged from the ground, wrapping around her ankle like a chain.

Rasa's Chakra surged, and countless tiny gold dust gathered under Pakura's feet.

"Pakura, I can tell you, I never thought the decision back then was wrong."

Pakura's yellow pupils were full of mockery, and her Scorch Release Chakra erupted, trying to break free from the gold dust's restraint.

"Not wrong? I shed my blood and sweat for Sunagakure, but ended up being betrayed and dying tragically. In your eyes, it's not wrong?"

"Back then, Fourth Mizukage Yagura came to power through a coup, and the Daimyo of the Land of Water hired us to launch a surprise attack on Kirigakure. Kumogakure was angry that we stole their business, so they ambushed our village. At that time, we were on a distant expedition to Kirigakure. Our rear defense line collapsed, and the village was in peril."

"Kirigakure took the opportunity to make exorbitant demands, declaring that they would only cease hostilities and let us leave if we handed over your life. For the safety of the village, we could only compromise."

His eyes were firm as gold dust surged around him. "Pakura, I know you hate us, but if you were me, facing the life-and-death choice of the entire village, would you be willing to sacrifice me to ensure the safety of Sunagakure? If Kirigakure had demanded me at that time, I, Rasa, would have sacrificed myself without hesitation."

Pakura's body trembled, a trace of hesitation flashing in her yellow pupils. The violent Scorch Release Chakra around her slightly weakened.

"I, Pakura, am not afraid of death. If it's for Sunagakure, I am also willing to sacrifice. But you shouldn't have hidden it from me. You shouldn't have pushed me towards death through betrayal. Do you know the pain of being stabbed in the back by someone you trusted? That kind of despair is more terrifying than death itself."

"Pakura, this matter has nothing to do with anyone else, it was all my idea." An old but firm voice sounded.

Chiyo walked out from among the high-ranking Sunagakure officials, leaning on her cane, her white hair swaying slightly in the hot air.

"It was I who proposed to hide it from you and reach an agreement with Kirigakure, and it was I who ordered the ninjas to secretly cooperate. If you want revenge, take my old life, and don't make things difficult for others."

"Elder Chiyo!"

Many Suna ninjas exclaimed, wanting to dissuade her but were stopped by Chiyo's raised hand.

Just then, a slender figure quickly walked out from the crowd. The girl was dressed in a standard Suna ninjas uniform, her eyes full of excitement and worry.

She bowed to Pakura. "Pakura-sensei, you've really returned."

Pakura turned her head.

It was Maki, the disciple she had personally taught before she left Sunagakure to go on her expedition.

The timid little girl who used to follow behind her had now grown into a graceful ninja.

"Maki... you've grown up."

Pakura's dark green hair swayed slightly, and the Scorch Release Chakra around her completely receded, and the gold dust restraint on her ankle also loosened.

Seeing her disciple safe and sound, the resentment accumulated in her heart for many years instantly melted away by more than half. But after the obsession dissipated, a huge sense of confusion surged into her heart.

She had died once, and although she was now resurrected, she didn't know where to go.

Sunagakure was her hometown, but it was also the place that brought her endless pain. The goal of revenge was gone, but the road ahead was blurry.

Shun saw all this and slowly said, "Pakura, I resurrected you, you owe me a life."

Pakura looked up, meeting Shun's Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

Feeling the powerful pressure emanating from him, she instantly understood that the strength of the person in front of her was unfathomable.

Her heart tightened, but she did not flinch, and her Scorch Release Chakra ignited again.

"Why did you resurrect me? And Sunagakure... what's happening now?"

Shun gazed at Pakura, secretly using genjutsu to modify her consciousness. "I resurrected you, firstly because I appreciate your talent, and secondly to make amends for Sunagakure's past mistakes. You should have been Sunagakure's pride, but you fell due to suspicion within the village, which is very unfair."

"Now Sunagakure, Iwagakure, and Kumogakure have submitted to me. I am about to unify the Ninja World and create a new era without betrayal or suspicion, and I need strong individuals like you to join."

Pakura's body trembled slightly, and complex emotions flashed in her eyes. There was anger, unwillingness, and also a hint of sadness.

She remembered how she had risked her life for Sunagakure, only to be met with betrayal and death. The pain in her heart had not yet healed.

Shun looked at her reaction, and a strong possessiveness flashed in his eyes.

"The Ninja World is about to be unified, and I need capable people to assist me in establishing a peaceful new order. Your Scorch Release will surely shine brightly in the future Ninja World Tournament. Therefore, I want you to be my Queen."

"What?! You want me... to be your Queen?" Pakura's eyes widened, full of disbelief.

What kind of outrageous words were these?

Everyone in the hall also stirred in an uproar.

Manaka, Karin, and Shion exchanged glances, then secretly chuckled.

Sure enough, their lecherous father could be seriously unreasonable.

Rasa's expression changed slightly, but he dared not say more. Pakura's resurrection and submission might be a good thing for Sunagakure.
