Ss night deepened, Shun found himself sleepless.
In his mind, the day's scene replayed repeatedly: Ino, dressed in a V-neck outfit, hooking her arms around his neck.
"Beautiful exteriors are a dime a dozen, interesting souls are one in a million."
Shun looked at the distant starry sky and whispered softly.
Today, Ino's bold initiative had broken his preconceived notions of a "secretary," and this "interestingness" made his eyes light up.
It was precisely because of this flutter in his heart that he deliberately kept his distance, hoping this interestingness could last a little longer.
Shun leaned back in his chair, trying to calm his restless emotions, but even sleepiness vanished without a trace.
He walked to the window, activated his Divine Eye, and his gaze inadvertently swept over Yakumo's residence.
In the scene, Yakumo was sitting at her dressing table, combing her long hair, and the soft lamplight on her face made her appear exceptionally gentle.
She picked up a photo frame from the table, her finger gently brushing over a picture of him.
Shun watched this scene, and a thought suddenly welled up in his heart.
Perhaps he had overlooked this girl who always silently stood in the corner, following him with gentle eyes.
Without much hesitation, his figure flickered, instantly appearing at Yakumo's doorstep.
In the night, he, dressed in dark casual clothes, gently knocked on the wooden door.
Hearing the knock, Yakumo was startled. At this hour, why would someone be knocking?
She walked to the door in confusion, looked through the peephole, and her pupils instantly dilated.
Standing outside the door was none other than Shun.
She frantically tidied her pajamas, took several deep breaths, and then gently opened the door.
"Shun-sama, you... why are you here? Is there some official business you need to discuss?"
Seeing her flustered appearance, Shun smiled slightly. "Yakumo, I know your feelings, so I specifically made time to take you out for a walk."
Yakumo's cheeks flushed, even the tips of her ears were pink, and her heart pounded as if it would burst from her chest.
"Shun-sama, I... I'll go change. Please wait for me patiently, I'll be very quick."
After realizing what was happening, Yakumo turned and ran back into her room. She opened her wardrobe, and rummaged for her prettiest clothes.
She chose a light blue long dress, its hem embroidered with delicate snowflake patterns, and quickly styled her hair into a simple bun.
When she reappeared before Shun, her hands were nervously clasped in front of her, and she softly asked, "Shun-sama, is... is this alright?"
Shun looked at her attire, a gentle smile on his lips, and gently took her hands. Her small hands were cool, and trembled slightly.
"Yakumo, you are actually very beautiful, even more beautiful than the moonlight on the snow-capped mountains, so I've decided to take you to a fun place."
Yakumo felt her body lightly float, and she stood on a vast expanse of snow-covered mountains. The cold wind whistled past, yet there was no chill because a transparent protective barrier surrounded her, keeping her entirely warm.
Shun said, "This is the snow mountain of the Ancestral Star. Every year at this time, there is a sky full of flying snow, it's very beautiful."
Yakumo looked at the scene before her, her eyes filled with awe.
She had never seen such a beautiful snowscape. The distant snow-capped mountains shimmered with a faint silver light under the moonlight, and the snow beneath her feet felt like soft cotton candy.
"This place is... beautiful."
Shun held her hand, and a black snowboard appeared beneath his feet.
"Yakumo, relax a little, try tandem snowboarding? You won't fall, I'll protect you."
Before Yakumo could answer, he had already embraced her onto the snowboard. He stood behind her, his hands passing under her armpits, gently encircling her waist.
"Yakumo, hold my hands tightly, we're about to set off."
Shun exerted gentle force, and the snowboard rapidly glided forward.
The cold wind whistled past her ears, and the snowscape before her rapidly receded. Yakumo felt only nervousness and excitement, unable to help but let out a small gasp.
She instinctively leaned back, resting perfectly in Shun's embrace, and feeling his warm body temperature, she instantly felt at ease.
"Shun-sama, so fast!"
"Yakumo, if you're afraid of falling, just hold me tight."
Shun's arms tightened slightly, holding her even closer.
When the snowboard glided over a gentle expanse of snow, Shun deliberately slowed down, allowing her to clearly see the surrounding scenery.
A few snow-white little rabbits were hidden in the snow, peeking out at them, utterly adorable.
After descending from the high mountain, Shun led Yakumo to the lake at the foot of the snow mountain.
The lake surface was already frozen, like a giant mirror, reflecting the starry sky.
He took off his coat and draped it over Yakumo's shoulders. The coat still carried his body warmth, making Yakumo's cheeks flush even redder.
"Yakumo, let's go ice skating, it's very simple."
"Shun-sama, am I very clumsy?"
Shun held her hand, slowly stepped onto the ice, and patiently taught her to adjust her center of gravity. "Lean forward slightly, and follow my rhythm."
Yakumo was clumsy at first, always nearly falling, but each time Shun would promptly steady her, pulling her into his embrace. Gradually, she became more skilled, even able to spin on the ice following his rhythm.
Under the moonlight, their figures intertwined, and their clear laughter sounded exceptionally beautiful in the snowy night.
When they skated to the center of the lake, Shun suddenly stopped, his hands gently embracing Yakumo's waist.
"Yakumo, do you know? I actually noticed you a long time ago."
Yakumo looked into his eyes. "Shun-sama, I... I like you."
"Silly girl, if you like someone, say it, don't keep it bottled up inside."
Shun gently lifted her chin and lightly kissed her lips.
Yakumo instantly froze, then closed her eyes, gently responding to him. Her lips were very soft, with a faint scent of milk.
Suddenly, the surrounding light changed, and they appeared in a warm bedroom.
She saw a snow mountain landscape painting on the wall and a soft wool blanket.
Yakumo instantly understood what was about to happen.
Her cheeks turned even redder, and her hands nervously clutched the hem of her dress.
Shun gently pulled her into his embrace, the fresh scent of her hair lingering at his nose. "Yakumo, do you want to become my Queen?"
Yakumo nestled in his broad embrace, her voice soft yet firm. "Yes... I dream of it..."
Shun looked at the woman in his arms, lowered his head, and kissed her. This kiss was more passionate and fervent than before.
Their breaths quickly intertwined, and their heartbeats resonated at this moment.
Finally, only the sounds of kissing and soft gasps remained.
