Max finished editing another video and stretched, letting out a satisfied breath.
Suddenly his stomach growled. "Man, I'm starving."
"I'll go find something to eat, then get back to work."
Right then a system voice chimed in inside his head. "Congratulations, host. You have completed nine video edits."
"This edit earned 158,000 Admiration Points. Congratulations — you've gained 158,000 points."
"Please rest for two hours before starting the next edit."
Max rubbed his belly. "Two hours, huh. I'll head downstairs and grab a bowl of beef ramen."
He dashed downstairs. It was already 2:00 PM and the lunch crowd had thinned out. He walked into the noodle shop under his building.
The owner was a kind-looking middle-aged man. "Boss, one bowl of premium beef ramen, please."
The owner grinned. "Sure thing. Take a seat, I'll bring it right over."
Steam rose from the bowl a few minutes later. Max's mouth watered as he dug in. "Let's eat."
A few minutes and a few slurps later the bowl was empty. He paid and hurried back to his room, opened his laptop, and dove into the system space again.
"All right, start the next editing task."
Six hours passed. Night fell. Max's edit finished and a slick thumbnail popped onto the screen.
A bald figure in a cloak filled the image.

Saitama stood confused at a fork in the hallway, hand to his ear. "What's going on here?"
The voice sounded like it was inside his head.
The threatening voice returned. "Take one more step forward and we will kill you on the spot."
Saitama said, "You keep telling me to go back, but I'm lost. I can't find the exit."
Garu Gangzip spoke up. "You want to go back?"
"I understand. Let me help you."
"First, turn right."
"Go up the stairs at the end."
Saitama muttered, "Right, huh."
Then a mischievous grin spread over Saitama's face. "Well then, I'll go left."
Garu Gangzip panicked. "Hey, wait, don't—"
"Hold on, you can't go there!"
"Ah, I know, I made a mistake!"
"I'm coming to you. Wait for me a moment!"
"No, stop! Wait!"
Like a flash, someone burst through the door. Saitama rushed in. "This looks like a control room."
"Hey!"
A huge blue octopus rose, waving its tentacles.
Saitama blinked. "An octopus?"
A massive blue octopus loomed before him. "You're on our ship and you dare not take us seriously?"
Rocks suddenly flew toward Saitama.
Saitama: "What the—little pebbles are flying at me?"
Stones slammed around him, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Garu Gangzip announced, "You fool. I, the universe's greatest telekinesis user Garu Gangzip, will smash you into mince!"
When the dust cleared, Garu Gangzip stood sweating and stared at Saitama, who was completely unharmed.
"If that's the case, then there's no other choice. Super Telekinetic Gravity Wave!"
"Die, Earthling!"
Saitama blinked. "Telekinesis? Like a superpower?"
Garu Gangzip's eyes blazed. "Under my super telekinesis I can control gravity."
A terrifying gravitational force filled the control room.
"With my super telekinesis, not even a black hole can take a step forward. Surprised?"
Saitama casually touched his face, utterly puzzled.
Garu Gangzip roared. Under the effect of his power the stones spun up and formed a swirling tornado around him.
Saitama watched the tornado with deadpan resignation. "Oh great, what now?"
Garu Gangzip shouted, "Take this. Psychokinetic Rock Wave!"
Golden shockwaves shot from the tornado straight at Saitama.
"He's done for."
But in an instant Saitama appeared where their eyes could see him, totally unharmed.
Saitama said, "Come on. You're throwing pebbles at me."
"What a waste of a superpower."
"This? Anyone could do this."
Saitama flicked a pebble from his hand. Garu Gangzip's head split clean in two.
"I, I Garu Gangzip, can't be—what is this—"
Saitama looked around and said, "I'm jumping."
"Hey, you guys!"
The low-level soldiers who'd been terrified enough to wet themselves were sweating bullets.
"I'm just asking, where's your boss?"
An eyepatched alien sat on the throne waiting quietly.
"Here he comes!"
Saitama ran toward the main door at full speed, leaped, and punched the gateway.
Boom!
He broke through the door.
Saitama strode in, an overwhelming power radiating off him, white cape fluttering.
Boros looked at the bald intruder. "This must be the representative of this planet."
"I feel an unfathomable strength."
Boros slowly rose to his feet.
Saitama asked, "Are you the leader of the invaders?"
Boros' voice flowed out. "Impressive."
"Before we fight, let's introduce ourselves."
"I am the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves. Ruler of the whole universe, Boros."
Hearing that, Saitama said, "I do this for fun… no, wait."
"I'm a professional hero. My name is Saitama."
Live chat erupted again.
