Hearing Kabuto insult his brother, Sasuke clenched his jaw so hard it hurt.Lightning flashed around his hand—Chidori Stream—as a white blade of thunder shot toward Kabuto!
Kabuto leapt upward, dodging just in time.
He landed upside down on the cave ceiling and smirked. "So what if there are two of you?"
"A makeshift team like this can't beat my sensory abilities."
"And let's not forget—you're brothers who spent years hating each other thanks to your brother's endless lies!"
Itachi's calm voice echoed through the cave. "Sasuke, remember the boar hunt mission we went on together?"
"Let's do this."
Sasuke's purple Susanoo erupted around him, while Itachi's red Susanoo appeared beside it.
For the first time, the Uchiha brothers fought side by side.
The battlefield trembled under the power of two colossal Susanoo warriors.
Sasuke smirked. "Got it."
Itachi rushed in at Kabuto while Sasuke stood behind, drawing his ethereal bow. Kabuto's Susanoo counterpart unleashed three blazing blades.
They exploded around Itachi in a burst of fire—just as Sasuke's violet arrow pierced the serpent tail sprouting from Kabuto's back!
Kabuto crashed to the ground. Sasuke noticed his own thrown blade glinting nearby.
"He's trying to steal my sword to cut off the snake tail and escape!"
Itachi darted forward, but Kabuto's knife shot out first—piercing clean through Itachi's chest.

Sasuke froze, staring in horror as Itachi was impaled.
Then—Itachi's eyes snapped open. The Mangekyō Sharingan spun rapidly.
In an instant, the whole battlefield turned white.Itachi's body shattered into a cloud of black crows that swirled away from Kabuto's blade.
He reappeared behind Kabuto, snatching the knife from his hand and slashing off one of Kabuto's horns.
They both dropped to the ground.
Kabuto touched the broken stump. "Heh… guess I forgot that horn wasn't supposed to be there. Got careless."
Sasuke jogged up to stand beside his brother.
Itachi's expression softened. "Looks like we can finally take down that 'boar.'"
Sasuke looked away awkwardly. "Forget the boar. Let's deal with the snake first."
Kabuto chuckled. "How odd. You two seem pretty close now."
"Funny—just a while ago, you were at each other's throats."
"I bet something happened when you killed Itachi, huh?"
"Now you're desperate to hear what a dead man has to say."
Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "I want the truth."
Kabuto's tone darkened. "Itachi and I did everything for the Leaf Village… and what did we get? Disgrace. Hatred."
"What did Konoha ever give us in return?"
"It's because of what Itachi did that you became who you are."
"The only difference between us is—I'm still alive."
"No one understands you better than I do."
"So this time, I'll stand by you as your big brother."
"Come on, Sasuke. Let's go together."
Itachi's voice cut through sharply. "Sasuke, don't listen to him."
"He was an even better spy than I was—which means he's an even better liar."
"And no matter how dark or corrupt the village is, I'll always be Uchiha Itachi of the Hidden Leaf."

Sasuke blinked. "Opposite?"
Itachi's expression hardened. "Everything's ready."
"The ultimate ocular jutsu that controls destiny itself—Izanami."
Kabuto's hands glowed with chakra blades as he clashed head-on with Itachi's sword.

The shockwave sent both of them skidding backward.
"If Izanagi can change destiny," Itachi said, raising his blade, "then Izanami can decide it."
He held the sword across his chest. "Sasuke, don't stray too far."
Kabuto landed lightly on the ground. "I don't know what you're trying to pull, but right now, none of your attacks can hurt me."
"You clearly don't understand what I've become."
"Sage Art: Inorganic Reincarnation!"
From above, jagged stalactites came crashing down toward them.
Itachi's Susanoo flared, shielding Sasuke from the deadly spikes—but several speared straight through his own body.
