Inside the channel, the wind and waves were calm, as if it were another world. "Now! Dolum!" Newgate roared. Maintaining this channel was a huge drain on him as well.
"You got it!" Dolum snapped out of his daze. He used all his strength to turn the helm, piloting the wreckage that was about to fall apart into the miraculous channel created by human strength. The moment they passed through the channel and reached the island's inner bay, the storm channel behind them slammed shut with a roar. And the wreckage of the Azure Dragon under their feet had finally completed its final mission. With a heartbreaking groan, it slowly disintegrated and sank into the calm harbor.
The crew stood on the island's beach, looking at the wreckage that had once carried their ambitions and glory, a mix of emotions in their hearts. "Alright, no time for sentimentality," Newgate said, patting Dolum's shoulder. "Out with the old, in with the new. Our new home is waiting for us on this island."
The crew looked up and surveyed this forgotten island. In the center of the island stood a huge base made of steel and concrete, like a crouching steel beast. The base had been eroded by time and was covered in rust, filled with a desolate and deathly air, but its main structure was still intact, a testament to the former glory of the Marines. "Let's go treasure hunting!" Gatz was the first to charge out excitedly.
However, as soon as they stepped through the gate of the base, an icy chill, as if from hell, enveloped everyone. In the base's square lay dozens of desiccated corpses of marine soldiers. Their faces were frozen in extreme horror, as if they had seen something incomprehensibly terrifying before they died. And in the center of the square, a jet-black, gothic-style, three-masted sailing ship, as if it were pieced together from the bones of countless tormented souls, was quietly floating in mid-air. The ship's sails were tattered, but its hull exuded an ominous, heart-pounding black glow, like a phantom from the abyss.
"Wh-what kind of ship is this?" Dolum looked at the ghost ship that completely defied the laws of physics, his face filled with shock and confusion. "Be careful. Something's strange," Silver said, tightening his grip on his spear. He could feel a thick, cold, deathly air from that ship.

A figure, wearing a tattered Marine admiral's uniform, its body translucent like a ghost, slowly floated out of the cabin. "Welcome to my ship, the Moriarty. I am the captain of this ship, and also the only resident of this island. Former Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral, 'Phantom' Moriarty." A strange smile appeared on the ghost's face. "As the price for disturbing my long sleep, you can leave your shadows behind as my new crew members!" "Shadows?" Newgate looked at the swarm of black bats, a smile of interest on his face. "Gurararara! An interesting ability. But to play with these ethereal things in front of me, aren't you picking the wrong person?" He took a step forward. My shadows are invincible!" he shrieked. "Too noisy," Newgate frowned, seeming to be very impatient with this noisy attack style. He raised his fist, a pure white halo gathering on it. "Quake Crash." A simple punch, swung from a distance. CRACK! The space in front of him instantly filled with spider-web-like cracks. The moment the huge mass of shadows came into contact with this force, it was like paper being thrown into a shredder. It was instantly shattered into pieces and dissipated into a shower of black light. Phantom Moriarty was also hit hard. He let out a慘叫, his translucent body becoming even more illusory, as if it could dissipate at any moment.
"Dammit... who are you people?" he asked, horrified, looking at the group of monsters before him.
"Us?" a lazy voice sounded. Gatz walked out with his anchor. He grinned, showing his white teeth, and said in a tone that mimicked Rocks, "Just a group of passing gourmets."
"Gourmets?" Moriarty was stunned.
"That's right," Gatz pointed at his stomach. "Our captain said he wants to make a cold salad out of your shadow. So, surrender乖乖." Before his words had even faded, his massive body had already shot out like a cannonball. The giant anchor in his hand, with a scream that tore through the air, smashed viciously at the ghost ship floating in mid-air! "Don't touch my ship!" Moriarty shrieked, trying to block with his shadows. However, Silver's figure appeared behind him like a phantom. His spear was covered in a layer of black Armament Haki, its tip aimed straight at Moriarty's true body. "Your opponent is me."
A completely one-sided beatdown began. The result of the battle was never in doubt. Although Phantom Moriarty was a former Marine Vice Admiral and had considerable strength, faced with a monster of Newgate's level, plus Gatz and Silver, two helpers with unlimited potential, he didn't even have a chance to fight back. In the end, he was punched off the ghost ship by Newgate, fell to the ground, his translucent body almost dissipating. The ghost ship, having lost its master's control, also slowly descended from mid-air and landed steadily in the center of the square with a dull thud.
"S-spare me..." Moriarty lay on the ground, begging for mercy in a weak voice.
