"You've been marked, how will you evade it?" Diane reached out to touch his naturally flowing long hair. As soon as her hand touched it, the strands quickly wrapped around her hand, alarmingly invasive.
Baiyi was silent for a moment, looking at the increasing number of Netherworld beings, feeling a headache coming on.
A severely injured demigod would be manageable... but Baiyi now was not enough to counter the entire Netherworld.
Diane seemed to think, if one could ignore those malicious intentions, Baiyi's dark side hair, although psychologically off-putting to the touch, once accepted... was quite intriguing.
"Go to the Divine Bottom Sea Trench, I'll hold them off for you," Diane said softly.
"No, you'll die," Baiyi flatly refused. "At worst, we abandon that giant statue. I have the method to create it; once my realm advances, I can always make another."
