"Huff... huff..."
The man with the knife panted heavily, glaring fiercely at the Vic in front of him, "Why are you running?"
"Because you're chasing me!"
Vic shrugged, feeling a bit annoyed, as he was also out of breath from exhaustion.
If this man had no ill intentions, he should have said so earlier. He charged with a knife, how was Vic supposed to know if he was friend or foe?
"...Maybe it's because the magic potion went wrong and made you lose your mind, who knows."
The black cat next to him mocked suddenly, leaving Vic speechless.
"Huff..." The man with the knife exhaled deeply, puffing out a secondhand smoke, his furrowed brows loosening slightly, "Tell me, why is this rat chasing you relentlessly in the middle of the night?"
He threw the unconscious long-haired man at Vic's feet.
He stared closely at Vic, seemingly not seeing him as a mere victim.
