A deep buzzing suddenly exploded in the room, like a thousand insects flapping their wings at once, accompanied by some unnatural energy fluctuation that made the eardrums tremble.
The figure that was hunched on the sofa just a second ago now instantly teleported to the wall without warning. As his body collided with the cold wall, it made a dull "thud" sound, but he showed no reaction at all.
The black eyes with pinpoint pupils locked on fiercely, exuding a chill that didn't belong to anything living.
