Upon hearing this, Saul Shaw paused his hand holding the pen and looked up at Caleb Lockwood.
"This signature, are you requesting it for someone else?" Saul asked directly. Dr. Lockwood couldn't be needing this kind of encouragement, could it be that he has a child at home preparing for college entrance exams?
Caleb Lockwood nodded, "My girlfriend."
The man was straightforward, speaking softly while his gaze fell on the notebook in Saul's hand, motioning him to hurry up and write.
Saul laughed, writing as he spoke, "I didn't expect you to be so attentive to your girlfriend. Is she the girl from the department office that my aunt mentioned before?"
Caleb was momentarily stunned, his thin lips lightly parted, "No."
"Pass a message to your aunt for me. Actually, she's not from the department office, but she does indeed... manage me."
The man's expression was calm, but as he thought of the girl he mentioned, a hint of gentle light appeared in his originally aloof eyes.
