Caleb Lockwood unlocked the car, and Serena Sutton took out a bag from the back seat.
Inside it, there was a fruit platter, some small bread rolls, chocolates, and yogurt.
Seeing her bring so many snacks, Caleb Lockwood asked puzzledly, "Why did you bring so many snacks?"
Serena Sutton opened the fruit platter, used a toothpick to pick a piece of dragon fruit, and handed it to Caleb Lockwood.
"I have a habit of bringing lots of food whenever I go on a trip. I'm really afraid of getting hungry."
Upon hearing this, Caleb's eyes deepened, and he replied warmly, "That's a pretty good habit."
Just like how many surgeons keep a stash of snacks in their drawers, all to avoid going hungry.
Hearing the compliment from Caleb, who was not one to give praise often, Serena suddenly felt shy, feeling unexpectedly delighted.
"Hehe." She flashed a smile at him.
Caleb reached out and ruffled her hair.
They ate a lot in the car, and only went out when the banquet ended.
