Does that mean going to meet Caleb Lockwood's family? Just the thought of it made her feel very nervous. Why did he suddenly say this?
"Do I have to go?" she asked weakly and tentatively.
Caleb Lockwood was silent for a moment before responding, "Yes." You have to go.
Serena Sutton knew she didn't have a choice. Caleb Lockwood had done so much for her, and she couldn't be a burden. If she had to go, then so be it.
"Alright." She agreed readily.
Caleb Lockwood said, "It's late, go to sleep." With that, the man was ready to hang up the phone.
Unexpectedly, the girl on the other end suddenly spoke, "Caleb Lockwood, you're so nice." Her voice was soft and sweet, with a girlish shyness.
Perhaps she was too shy, because after saying that, she hurriedly hung up the phone.
