Bright and early, she woke Norbert Suttun up. After breakfast, Serena Sutton said she needed to change clothes, so she let Norbert wait for her in the living room.
Ms. Hayes, knowing she had nothing to do today, leisurely settled in on the couch with snacks, watching TV after breakfast.
Nathan Sutton wore an apron and gloves, busy with the dishes.
After waiting a while, Norbert impatiently called out, "Serena, what's taking so long? Hurry up." Just changing clothes shouldn't take so long. Is she part turtle?
Serena walked out of the room, complaining, "Why are you so impatient? I'm a girl; what's wrong with waiting for me a bit?"
Norbert pinched her cheek playfully and bossily said, "Stop babbling, let's go."
Serena pouted and followed him.
