He actually gave her this as a gift?!
Serena Sutton stared at the painting for a while, then suddenly burst into laughter.
He had drawn a heart, very detailed, with the left atrium, right atrium, and ventricles all labeled, along with the names of some important blood vessels. It was even colored, looking quite real.
Serena was both amused and exasperated. She thought Caleb Lockwood would draw a cartoon version of her, but she didn't expect... this.
Indeed, his thought process was beyond ordinary comprehension.
Serena tugged at the corner of her mouth and said, "It's... well done." She truly didn't know how to compliment it, so she just said something offhand.
Little did she know, Caleb, hearing her say that, slightly curled his lips, looking pleased, with a gentle smile even in his deep-set eyes.
Clearing her throat, Serena asked, "Why did you give this to me?" So, is this a doctor's way of thinking? What exactly is he trying to express?
