Nightfall had arrived, and if it were peacetime, people would be comfortably sleeping in their beds, while places like KTVs, internet cafes, and discos would be bustling with people. But in the current environment, some refugees, like wandering souls and ghosts, rushed into these ruins, and before them lay broken corpses. Their purpose is almost painfully obvious.
Cannibalism.
This is a word drenched in blood.
Everything before us is the truest portrayal of the apocalypse.
Nominally, they are citizens of this town, receiving food donations daily. But most of that food is spoiled, either moldy or hard, and in extremely short supply, utterly inadequate for the refugees' daily needs.
