Cecilia Vaughn's eyes turned red, she stood up and watched Zion Prescott carefully re-bandage Adrian Law's wound.
"You can't scare me like that again in the future."
"Alright, I won't."
The man, looking at the girl's red eyes, couldn't help but lower his head and give her a peck on the cheek.
Now Zion Prescott had started packing up, and when Cecilia Vaughn glanced at Felix Lockwood, who stood nearby with a teasing smirk, her face instantly flushed like a ripe peach.
"Adrian, stop fooling around, doesn't it really hurt?"
Zion Prescott had re-bandaged Adrian Law's wound, but the white gauze was still stained layer over layer with blood, as if it had turned scarlet like maple leaves.
Throughout the process, Adrian Law merely furrowed his brows and occasionally took a sharp breath. If Cecilia Vaughn didn't know how unbearable it is without painkillers, she would have doubted whether Adrian Law even felt pain.
