Adrian Law sat lazily at the stone table with Cecilia Vaughn, even leisurely ordering the bald, scarred man's subordinate to wash him a plate of grapes.
The fallen flowers and plants in the house had long been righted, and the courtyard was cleaned anew, looking much like before.
Sitting in the quaint Riverdell courtyard, Cecilia sniffed the rich scent of osmanthus, and her internal anger and sadness gradually subsided, leaving her calm.
"Cecilia, these are cream grapes, seedless, see if they're sweet?"
Adrian peeled the grape skin lazily, smiling as he brought it to Cecilia's lips.
"Mmm, delicious, let's buy some when we get back to Veridia City."
Cecilia smiled sweetly and swallowed the grape smoothly, a bit of grape juice slipping from her lips.
"Eat slowly, don't choke."
Adrian gazed at her with a smile, taking out a handkerchief embroidered with green bamboo, gently wiping the grape juice from Cecilia's lips.
