In the middle of the night, after watching a little yellow video, I had to stay strong and get up early to investigate clues.
The clues hadn't arrived yet, but early in the morning, an invitation from Mrs. Seymour did.
"I heard from Mr. Sutton that Thea Shaw, you're still in Fenmore?" Mrs. Seymour's voice carried a certain hint of mirth: "I'm having a small afternoon tea party this afternoon. Would you be interested in coming?"
Thea Shaw wasn't really interested in afternoon tea and the like, but Mrs. Seymour wouldn't invite her without reason, so Thea tentatively asked, "Is it because of your daughter's situation?"
"Yes." Mrs. Seymour replied, "Mrs. Quinn is coming too."
Thea Shaw GOT the information, her spirits lifted: "Okay, I'll be there on time this afternoon!"
It seemed that Mrs. Seymour knew Thea Shaw was making a great effort to investigate Mrs. Quinn's matters, and this was her creating an opportunity.
