Through observation, Thea Shaw already understood Apple Hale fairly well.
After some contemplation, Thea Shaw thought of a way.
"Auntie, you're worried I'm helping you too much and you can't repay me, but I actually have something I want to ask you."
Apple Hale, surprised, asked, "What do you want to ask me?"
"Let's go to the hospital. We can chat while we get checked. Don't worry, it's something real."
Seeing how she said it, Apple Hale hesitated for a moment before agreeing to go to the hospital with Thea Shaw.
Once at the hospital, waiting for the check-up after registering, Thea Shaw asked her, "Auntie, can you try to remember carefully, when did the smell on you start to appear?"
According to Dr. Samuel Hayes, the origin and cause of the disease are unknown.
Whether it's contagious is also yet to be determined.
