Out of sheer curiosity about Serena Quinn, Thea Shaw sought out the only person who could possibly enlighten her, Mrs. Seymour.
Mrs. Seymour thought carefully about her impression of Mrs. Quinn: "She inherited the entire Quinn Family, very wealthy, never been in a relationship, a very peculiar woman."
"Never been in a relationship?"
Thea Shaw gasped: "She must be over forty by now, right?"
What kind of terrifying woman is this?
"Whether she's been in a relationship or not, that's really unclear. In our circle, even the slightest whisper spreads quickly. Even if Mrs. Quinn did have a relationship, it wouldn't be something unheard of. Yet, not a single bit of news has ever surfaced, so she must have never been in one. However, she lived abroad for decades; maybe she had her heart broken overseas, who knows."
