"This news is truly exciting!"

Naruto's eyes blazed with excitement, and he couldn't help but lick his lips.

In fact, in the half-day since arriving in the Naruto world from Konoha, he had already felt his physical abilities gradually improving.

It seemed he had adapted to the high-oxygen environment of this world.

Even without training, simply living in this world would strengthen him.

"..."

Just as the boy and girl were busy cultivating.

From a distant village, an angry middle-aged woman walked over, followed by the four unruly children.

"Hey!"

The middle-aged woman stood before Robin with an unfriendly gaze.

Little Robin looked up, somewhat puzzled.

The middle-aged woman, hands on her hips, angrily said, "My child ran home crying, and without doing anything, you and that other monster beat him up!"

As she spoke, she looked at Naruto, a hint of disgust in her eyes:

"It was you, the monster who bullied my child!"

Naruto raised an eyebrow slightly.

Little Robin put down her book and said, "That's not how it happened..."

"Shut up!" the middle-aged woman interrupted Little Robin, saying impatiently, "I hope you won't come near my child again."

Four mischievous children in the distance stuck out their tongues, making faces at Little Robin and Naruto in a provocative manner.

Little Robin immediately fell silent.

The middle-aged woman, however, grew angrier, shouting, "Say something! What an annoying child!"

"I think you're the truly annoying middle-aged woman!"

Naruto stood up, interrupting the middle-aged woman.

The middle-aged woman looked over impatiently and said, "I've never seen you before. Where did you come from, kid? You have no manners at all..."

Naruto didn't argue with her. A black kunai appeared in his hand, which he twirled with his little finger.

The black kunai seemed to transform into a spinning windmill.

The middle-aged woman was startled and instinctively took two steps back:

"Wait, what are you doing? How can a child have such a dangerous weapon? Put it down right now..."

"Whoosh!"

The black kunai shot out.

It grazed past the middle-aged woman's body.

The middle-aged woman fell to the ground in fright, her eyes filled with terror:

"You, you child, are you going to kill me!?"

Naruto didn't speak, but simply pointed to a large tree behind the woman.

The middle-aged woman turned around and saw that the kunai nailed to the tree was glowing with fire, seemingly burning paper.

When the fire was halfway burned...

"BOOM!!!"

The explosive tag on the kunai exploded.

A blinding flash of light accompanied by a deafening shockwave.

A towering tree, requiring three people to encircle it, crashed to the ground.

"Aaaaah!!!"

The middle-aged woman screamed, her eyes filled with terror. She dared not utter another word and scrambled back into the village.

The four previously smug children were now terrified and ran away in a panic.

"Naruto-kun..."

Little Robin stared blankly at the blond boy.

Naruto smiled, opened an air portal, and another kunai appeared in his hand: "These are explosive tags, one of the standard weapons of a ninja."

"..."

"I see. Little Robin is quite a strong girl..."

Naruto sighed and ruffled Little Robin's hair.

Based on his recent conversation with Little Robin, he already knew her current situation.

Little Robin's mother, Nico Olvia, was also an archaeologist who set sail at the age of two to search for the Poneglyphs.

Little Robin, all alone, lived with her uncle, Nico Oran.

However, Little Robin's aunt was an extremely harsh woman.

She treated Little Robin like a servant, making her do dirty and tiring work, feeding her stale bread, and forbidding her from participating in family activities.

Only the scholars and doctors within the Tree of Omniscience treated Little Robin kindly.

Little Robin nodded dejectedly.

"It's alright!" Naruto smiled brightly, ruffling Little Robin's hair.

"From today onwards, I'll always be by Little Robin's side. No one will bully you anymore, and no one will scold you anymore."

Little Robin looked up at Naruto in surprise.

Naruto smiled. To him, anywhere was free, except for that damned Hidden Leaf Village.

"..."

Soon, dusk arrived. After Naruto used the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, he built a wooden cabin in the forest in just two hours.

It had a bed, a table, chairs, blankets…

All brought by Naruto from Konoha.

Unfortunately, no matter how much Naruto tried to persuade her, Robin returned to the village alone.

However, Robin soon returned.

Her aunt's family had left for a vacation elsewhere on the island.

So the two slept in the cabin for the night.

"…"

The next morning.

Naruto and Robin arrived at the Tree of Omniscience.

It was a gigantic, towering tree, its branches and leaves covering hundreds of meters in height, so large that even a hundred people couldn't encircle it.

A chamber had been carved out of the tree's center, and through the window, one could see it filled with books.

"Is this the world's archaeological holy site!?"

Naruto gazed at the Tree of Omniscience, unable to contain his awe.

Only in the world of One Piece could one see such astonishingly massive vegetation. Little Robin nodded happily and led Naruto into the Tree of Omniscience: "Naruto-kun, this is where I come every day. There are many books inside, and everyone is very kind to me."

The two entered the Tree of Omniscience and saw many scholars busily working inside.

Among them, an elderly man with clover-green hair and beard, looking somewhat surprised, approached:

"Robin, who is this boy...?"

Little Robin quickly bowed to the old man, then pulled Naruto along, saying:

"Professor Clover, this is Uzumaki Naruto. He survived a shipwreck and now lives in the forest. He's my friend."

Professor Clover smiled upon hearing this, affectionately ruffling Naruto's hair:

"He's Robin's friend. Being friends with Robin means you're not a bad kid. Would you like to come and read some books too?"

Naruto quickly nodded, saying, "I heard there are many books here, so I wanted to come and see them."

Professor Clover nodded, smiling, "It's a good thing to like reading. Robin, why don't you show him around?"

Little Robin happily nodded, pulling Naruto along as they ran into the Tree of Omniscience.

And this place truly lived up to its reputation as a mecca of archaeology; everywhere you looked, there were countless books displayed.

It felt like stepping into a world of books, with no end in sight.
