Chapter 102 - Chapter 102 – Upper Demons’ Powers Revealed

The red aurora above Tokyo stretched across the skyline, pulsing like a living heartbeat. Below, the city was a wasteland — partially crumbled skyscrapers, molten roads, and streets soaked in ash and shadow.

Inside the Osaka Bunker, screens flickered with live feeds of the Upper Demons, their immense auras bending reality around them. Each figure radiated destruction — a dark mirror of human fear and apocalypse.

Li Wei turned toward the group, voice calm but urgent.

"Before we enter the battlefield, you must understand your opponents. You cannot rely solely on power. Strategy and knowledge will be the difference between life and death."

The first demon appeared on the Tokyo streets: skeletal armor fused with jagged bone spikes, aura black and green. Kael'Thar's eyes glowed with malice. Li Wei projected a hologram.

"Kael'Thar specializes in manipulating structural and organic matter. He can fracture bones, walls, and armor alike, controlling them as weapons. His scythe is both a conduit and amplifier of his destructive aura. Beware his Abyssal Cleave — a single swing can sever steel and flesh simultaneously."

Ethan leaned forward, eyes narrowing. "So the city itself can become a weapon in his hands?"

Li Wei nodded. "Exactly. Any terrain can betray you. He is not just strength — he is environmental manipulation incarnate."

Morgath emerged from a swirling black void, surrounded by miniature rifts. The air around him rippled as if reality itself were being cut into pieces. Li Wei's hologram expanded, showing detailed schematics.

"Morgath is a master of pocket dimensions. He can trap opponents in shifting micro-realities, where time and space do not follow conventional rules. His Temporal Rift Barrage can disorient and fragment even the strongest aura users. His danger is subtlety — attacking him directly is often pointless. One must navigate his dimensions or be trapped indefinitely."

Ishita's Scarlet aura flared in response. "Then we can't rely on direct strikes. I'll have to destabilize the dimensional rifts before engaging him."

Li Wei nodded gravely. "Good. But even a minor mistake can leave you stranded in his pocket dimension."

Zerath's presence was suffocating. Black-green miasma swirled around him like living smoke, corroding asphalt and metal. Every breath spread virulent plague to humans, animals, and even the residual aura energy of Wielders. Li Wei explained.

"Zerath channels biological decay and necrotic energy. His attacks do not only wound — they rot. Anything he touches can disintegrate within seconds. His aura is contagious; prolonged exposure can weaken even powerful Aura Wielders."

Hyejin's frost aura expanded reflexively. "Then I'll provide constant shielding. Frost can contain some of his corrosion, but only temporarily. We cannot linger."

Rehan nodded. "We strike fast, coordinated. Keep the Ghost Demon distracted while we neutralize his puppets."

Li Wei's eyes darkened. "Precisely. This is not a battle of strength — it is a war of coordination, timing, and aura mastery."

Li Wei gestured toward the holomap of Tokyo. The city glowed under demonic aura spots.

"Upper Demons are positioned strategically. Kael'Thar dominates the western district — skyscrapers, bridges, and debris under his control. Morgath is in central Tokyo — he has already created dimensional traps around Tokyo Tower. Zerath is in the south — spreading plague and miasma, weakening civilian aura and ambient life energy. Lord Ghost Demon hovers above the city, feeding from their attacks. His aura is currently sixty percent, rising exponentially."

Ishita clenched her fists. "Then we strike the Upper Demons first, weaken the chain feeding him. I'll go after Kael'Thar and Zerath simultaneously. Scarlet Pulse can destabilize both their auras."

Rehan's golden aura ignited. "Then Morgath is mine. I'll cut through his dimensional rifts. One misstep… and the portal collapses. But I'll manage."

Akira's cursed sword expanded its energy, dark and lethal. "I'll join Ishita. My Dragon Fang can tear through Kael'Thar's bone manipulation. Together, we hit hard and fast."

Ethan's solar aura flared, illuminating the bunker's dim corridors. "Then I'll provide Solar Nova support — one blast per demon, enough to disrupt their coordination."

Hyejin's frost aura cooled the surrounding air. "And I'll contain Zerath's plague temporarily, giving you all openings for attack."

Li Wei nodded solemnly. "Good. Remember — time is our enemy. Every second these demons operate, Lord Ghost Demon's power grows. We cannot delay."

Li Wei raised his hands, projecting aura lines connecting each Wielder to specific targets.

"Ishita, Rehan — your resonance must synchronize. Scarlet and golden auras in perfect harmony. This will allow us to open a portal to the Space Dimension once the Upper Demons are weakened. If you fail to synchronize, the portal will collapse, and your combined energy could feed the Ghost Demon instead."

Ishita took a deep breath, feeling the Scarlet aura surge in her veins. "Then I will not fail."

Rehan's golden aura wrapped around hers, steadying her power. "Together."

Li Wei's final words resonated across the room.

"Once you step into Tokyo, there is no turning back. The fate of humanity rests on your shoulders. Fail, and the Scarlet King will rise. Succeed, and we may yet have a future."

The team braced themselves. The red aurora above Tokyo pulsed violently. The city shook with demonic energy. The Upper Demons waited, powerful, calculating, and lethal.

Li Wei whispered to himself.

"The first step begins now. The real war… begins in Tokyo."

With a flash of energy, the Aura Wielders teleported above Tokyo, ready to face Kael'Thar, Morgath, and Zerath — the deadly trio that held the key to the Lord Ghost Demon's resurrection.
