"I remember my wish." Lancelot said.
"You do?" Merlin questioned.
"If I heard it right, wishes are our abilities." Lancelot concluded, walking forward to Merlin and Cedric with his arms crossed.
"So what's your wish again?" Merlin asked.
"My wish is a katana." Lancelot said as he leaned in the right bookshelf.
"Then, if that's your wish, then you'll be getting a katana, but I don't know if that katana is going to have, special abilities alongside it." Cedric explained.
"Now i've got a question." Lancelot stood straight his back leaving the shelf, he looked from Merlin to Cedric, his eyes narrowing with a sudden, sharp intensity. "It's obvious we aren't from here, but how did you two actually arrive?"
"I'm reincarnated. one second I was gone, then I woke up in class, and the professor was teaching wishes." Merlin murmured.
"How did you get reincarnated? Truck-kun?" Cedric asked.
"I wish, but unfortunately no, I was shot in the convenience store, the robber lied to me about sparing my life." Merlin uttered."how about you?" Merlin asked.
"I was summoned." Cedric said. "If you're summoned, then your real name is Cedric Myward?" Merlin asked.
"Yes. Is there a problem?" Cedric questioned.
"Not really, from the novels I've read, it's mostly Japanese who are reincarnated or summoned, including me."
"What's your real name then?" Lancelot questioned.
"Sento Mizaki." Merlin replied."Continue the story." He added.
"I was walking home after school, I entered the house, changed clothes, and ate dinner while watching tv with my family. I was about to clean the dishes, the plate was wet after I sank them with water, I grabbed the sponge and then—BAM!" Cedric paused for a second. "Here I am." He continued as he opened his arms wide.
"That's an insane story, my concern is if we managed to go back home, are you going to be standing again at the same spot holding the sponge?" Merlin said.
"I think, my mom is probably waiting for me." Cedric said.
"Now... it's your turn. I just realized you're not much of a talker." Cedric said to Lancelot.
"Yes, I'm not much of a talker, and that's fine with me. Let's not get sidetracked, I am transmigrated as well, i don't need to explain what it means, cause I can clearly see that both of you are a shut in weebs, continuing the story, I was..." Lancelot faltered, his arms folded and hands shaking, then he continued. "I was in the bathroom—"
"Don't continue, and don't worry, we are humans, it's part of our human body, we eat, It's natural to let it out." Merlin said and then he smirked.
"Now let's focus on the abilities, don't you both remember anything about the wishes you made?" Lancelot said, sitting down on the floor, his leg crossed.
"I don't, but I think Cedric can remember it, I mean you aren't the same as how I entered this world." Merlin uttered.
"I do remember it." Cedric said.
"why didn't you say anything about it?" Merlin asked.
"Well no one asked me about it, so I didn't say anything." Cedric answered. "Now because you asked me about it, my wish is coins."
"Coins? Why coins?" Merlin questioned.
"I wanted to be rich."
"Straight answer huh?" Lancelot said.
"Is there anything wrong with my wish?" Cedric asked, his eyebrow raised.
"No not at all, it's just that if your wish is to be rich then basically your abilities are coins," Merlin said.
"It's perfect then, I don't have to grind about being rich, it's like hitting two jackpots." Cedric beamed.
"You do know that all abilities have drawbacks?" Lancelot said.
"I forgot about that, can you guess what's my drawback?" Cedric asked.
"I think it's paying taxes." Merlin quipped.
"Don't jinx it! I don't like that drawback!" Cedric snapped.
"I think that's a good drawback, I agree with that." Lancelot said, doing a thumbs up.
"Come on, don't lie, that was really a good drawback, it's much harder to have abilities but can't lie. The words that come out of our mouths are very important in case we get political." Merlin explained.
"Fine, but I still hate it." Cedric said. "Now let's focus on the drawback of Lancelot's ability, Katana." He continued.
"I think his drawback will be..." Merlin mused. "I guess his katana will break easily?"
"Unfair, his drawback is much better than mine," Cedric said.
"You're still onto that? It's really a straight answer from a straight ability of yours. Money = Taxes." Merlin asserted.
"We're getting sidetracked again, Cedric, what do you think my drawback is?" Lancelot asked.
"Your drawback will probably be that you suck at hitting your enemies." Cedric said.
"That's a dumb drawback." Lancelot countered.
"No it's not, there have been times where a character has random drawbacks, or not connected to their powers." Merlin said.
"I thought you wouldn't agree with me." Cedric said to Merlin.
"Of course I'll agree with you, remember what Lancelot said, we're both shut in weebs, We're basically duo." Merlin replied.
"You really accepted that term." Lancelot said, his eyes showed disappointment.
"You said it first." Merlin retorted.
"Now Merlin, can't you really remember your wish?" Lancelot said.
"I hope so, but there's not really one to come to mind." Merlin murmured.
Meanwhile...
"I'm okay. I'm okay." Ben said, his voice unsteady, wide eyes, and continuous shallow breaths.
He looked at the mirror. His hair was coffee brown, eyes are gray like charcoal, and skin deep like mocha.
He had a chubby cheeks but people considered him cute.
"I can't stay here, I might get scolded." Ben goes out the bathroom, before he even reach the stairs he heard something in the principal office. He leaned closer for a better understanding.
"They are just kids, and you want them to undergo that already!?" The principal snapped.
"They aren't kids, they are teenagers, I know they can do it." A stranger said that is probably a man considering his deep voice.
"Is that it? You can easily say that, considering you won't be responsible for their deaths, like the incident last time."
The principal jeered.
"It's not my fault!" The strange man snapped as he smashed the table.
"You won't still admit it." The Principal sighed. "Get out, I won't count to three."
As soon Ben heard it he left right away to head straight to the classroom.
The strange man left the principal office and the strange man mumbled. "It's not my fault, your father did it first."
