But what happens when a man has become so broken that he becomes blind to this truth? 

Instead, he has convinced himself of the madness, that existence itself is a flaw, an impurity that should never have been. What follows next is not understanding, but destruction. He no longer seeks meaning, purpose or the trival vanities that life offers. Instead, he seeks erasure, not only of himself, but of all things.

That man is Wu Zhe.

He is a man who has lived two lives, one as a mortal on Earth, the other as the strongest being in Yunluo. Feared by all, entire realms united to bring an end to his madness. Alone, he stood against them all, facing the collective might of countless realm, and in the end, he perished.

But death was not his end.

Reborn into yet another world, he rises once more, casting aside all restraints. Through any means necessary, no matter how vile he must become, he pursues a single, unimaginable goal, the annihilation of all existence.

"Hmmgh?" Huo Jian muttered as he woke up in Wu Zhe's bed.


As he looked up, he noticed Wu Zhe and Xu Shazi meditating.


"Join in," Wu Zhe said calmly, still in meditation.


"Did it work?" Huo Jian asked nervously.


"Why don't you find out for yourself?" Wu Zhe replied, eyes still closed.


Huo Jian slowly sat up and joined them, closing his eyes and entering meditation.


Almost immediately, he felt it, a gentle yet powerful force he could guide into his body.


Tears began to fall down his face uncontrollably.


He stood up and stepped in front of Wu Zhe, his eyes trembling with emotion.


Wu Zhe opened his eyes and glanced at him.


Huo Jian dropped down into a kowtow before Wu Zhe.


"Th-thank you, Master!" he cried, tears falling to the ground.


Wu Zhe glanced down, then closed his eyes again, returning to meditation.
