Black and Mulberry ink dripped from the eyes of a raven-haired woman with scattered freckles who was sitting in a wooden chair. The woman wore a gothic Victorian-age black tailcoat with a mulberry ruffle bow and knee-high designer heels. She wore rings engraved with mystic and esoteric verses, and multiple silver necklaces hung from her neck. Her mulberry eyes swirled with energy as she stared in a trance-like state at a massive hard-back book. Its parchment paper rippled and swirled with mulberry ink.
Vintage bookcases aligned the heavy hardwood walls. Books were bound in expensive brown and black leather. Walnut-wood designer reading chairs and writing stations sat beneath watercolor and acrylic landscape paintings. Oriental rugs over polished geometric parquet wooden flooring stretched across the library. Massive golden chandeliers hung from the oil-painted, frescoed ceiling.
"Not again," she mumbled, slowly blinking her eyes as she dropped the book to the ground.
The book crackled with static while mulberry and sunset flames erupted from the parchment paper. A low hum or a hiss screeched from it as Emeilia gazed down at it with weary eyes. Ink leaked from her fingertips and dribbled like paint onto the wooden floor. Emeilia's body ached like an elderly woman getting out of bed. Melancholy lingered in her mulberry eyes as she rubbed her nails through her black hair before wiping the ink dripping down her face.
Emeilia sighed, then closed the book, putting it in the empty slot on a bookshelf. "She always finds a seam," she mumbled while wiping the dust off the book next to it.
The library door ripped open as Emeilia walked towards it. She rubbed her neck and inhaled as silver-plated mirror back sconces lit up in mulberry light. Dark polished hardwood stairs creaked under her heels as she navigated her mansion. Cosmic stained glass windows bathed the hallways in clair-obscure shadows.
"Why her?" Emeilia asked herself as she entered the kitchen.
Deep plum cabinetry aligned the onyx-colored hardwood walls. Brass and copper kitchen hardware glowed under warm light, and a glass-fronted wooden cabinet displayed chinaware. From the refrigerator, Emeilia grabbed a bottle of star-speckled nebula liquid. She chugged the unworldly concoction like she was dehydrated on a hot summer day, then tossed it into a trash can that was a more black hole than a kitchen appliance.
Emeilia grabbed a coffee cup, then rubbed her face. She poured ground-down planets and asteroids into a coffee machine. "Ugh," Emeilia grumbled when she realized the coffee machine lacked a power source.
"Mortals are so fascinating and so fucking stupid," she mumbled to herself as she plugged in the appliance and leaned on the refrigerator while waiting for her coffee.
Shimmering black liquid poured into her coffee cup. She opened a cabinet and grabbed what could only be described as sugar made out of white dwarf stars. Emeilia then reached into the refrigerator and grabbed some coffee creamer that was more dark matter than it was cream. The creamer and sugar swirled around in the coffee, creating a hypnotic palette of oranges, pinks, and blues. Emeilia frowned when she sipped her coffee before adding more of what she calls "sugar" into her cup.
Emeilia sighed as she walked out of the kitchen while sipping her coffee. The library door creaked open as she walked back into the library, coffee cup in hand. Her mulberry eyes narrowed as she gazed up at the towering bookcases while she drank her coffee.
"Already getting back to it?" A black and white cat asked as it hopped onto a table.
Emeilia shrugged. "Don't ask stupid questions, Pepper," she replied as she grabbed a blank hard-back cover book, then sat down at a writer's desk.
"Try not to blow up the universe this time, meow," Pepper jested as it licked its paw.
Emeilia rolled her eyes. "How about you don't incarnate as a fucking raccoon this time?"
"Meow, you won't notice either way," Pepper replied as it watched her open the book.
Emeilia grumbled under her breath, then sighed before gazing down at the blank parchment paper in front of her. Her mulberry eyes widened as she noticed static energy erupting from the binds and seams of the book. She looked at Pepper, then back at the book as mulberry flames crackled from the paper.
"ł ₩₳₭Ɇ Ʉ₱ ₩ⱧɆⱤɆ ₮ⱧɆ Ɇ₵ⱧØɆ₴ ⱧɄ₥."
"Meow, that was faster than the last time. Do you think she knows?" Pepper asked as it licked its fur.
"₥ɄⱠ฿ɆⱤⱤɎ ₥ł₦Ɇ₴, Ɽ₳₩ Ɇ₮ⱧɆⱤ Ø₦ ₥Ɏ ₮Ø₦₲ɄɆ — ₮ⱧⱤɆ₳Đ ₳₦Đ ₦ɆɆĐⱠɆ ł₦ ⱧɆⱤ Ⱨ₳₦Đ₴. ł ₴₳₩ ₩Ⱨ₳₮ ₮ⱧɆ ₵ⱧØ₴Ɇ₦ ₵ØɄⱠĐ ₦Ø₮ Ʉ₦ĐɆⱤ₴₮₳₦Đ."
Emeilia shook her head as she watched lyrics manifest on the parchment paper without her authorship. "No, and I'm going to make sure Rachel doesn't find out."
"What do you think she is?"
"I…I don't know. I checked thousands of volumes and can't find where I wrote her."
"An eldritch entity, meow?"
Emeilia sighed. "Don't be ridiculous. Everything is born from my ink … I just can't find the volume where I first wrote her."
"But she doesn't obey your ink, meow."
"My reflection gͤlitͣ͗̓ch͡e͙̎͡s͓̗_; she is always there."
"Eyes glow mulberry, s̨̪̓ͯ͢ta͒̂̔t̡̫̓̄̀̔͢͞ȋ̮͙̺͕̅ͤ̄c̩͕͑ͬ̆͜ hair. Every mirror shows what she has erased. But Ɇ₵ⱧØɆ₴ don't vanish; they just r̟͔̩͂e̶̺ͣ̄̌͡ṭ͔̹ͬͧͧrͧ͞a̷̢̬̮͚̐͊c̺̕e̡̲͆ͨ̑̓."
"Oh, the Ē͓n̰̭g͝i̩͠n̗ͅe̿͋̓ hums in frequency high, H̰u̦m̪̭̮̳̹̽ͤmi͐ng̠̖͔͑ tomorrow in mulberry light."

Emeilia's eyes narrowed as she stared at the words glitching on what should be her blank manuscript.
"You sure she isn't eldritch? You are not writing that, meow."
"S̤̜ta̺͎̓tic̴̪̜ for thread, the breaker ofͯ͡ se̴a̳̼͟m̒ͨs͚. P͜r̋̄im̧̬̝eͩ͟ o̟̓ͪf t̿h̹͕͢e̤ En̨̛͌g̪͙̔i͞ne, the call was met."
"I must fix this," Emeilia said. "She must not find out."
"Meow, it might be too late. You wanted her to be PRIME, thinking it would resolve the issue. Looks like it made it worse."
"She won't remember she is PRIME. None of them will remember," Emeilia replied.
"You won't either, though," Pepper replied.
"That's where you come in."
"Meow, oh, now you want my help?"
"Catnip for your troubles?"
Pepper jumped on Emeilia lap and purred. "I will consider it."
"Where do ₲Ⱡł₮₵ⱧɆ₴ get their crown?"
"The needle pierced, but left no scar, not binding me to who I ar͟ě̬̐."
"A S̹h̙̹͂a̻̔d͛̕̕o̮ẁ̲̰ stitched to a hollow state."
"Cosmic hope for what was lost"
"I thought myself chosen, thought myself mortal."
"Now I'm ₱Ɽł₥Ɇ, what have I ฿Ɇ₵Ø₥Ɇ?"
"My voice hums like the engine's hymn. Because I answered the Engine's call."

Mulberry ink dripped from Emeilia's fingers onto the paper. Her eyes dilated as she read the words sizzling on the page just as she picked up the pen on the desk.
