The Mountain of the Z Sword
The group soon stood at the edge of a towering mountain, its peak glinting under divine sunlight. At its summit, embedded in stone like a relic of eternity, rested a massive sword — long, ancient, and radiating immeasurable power.
Goku whistled. "Wow… so that sword up there is the Z Sword?"
"Exactly," Shin confirmed. "The most powerful blade said to exist."
"Alright then!" Goku grinned, his cheerful energy undimmed even in sacred ground. "Let me try pulling it out first!"
He flew up to the mountaintop, grabbed the sword's handle firmly, and pulled with all his strength.
Nothing.
He frowned, grunting as he tried harder — still nothing.
"It's really not moving! Not even an inch!"
Kibito chuckled mockingly. "That's because you're mortal. Only a true hero destined to save the universe can wield the Z Sword — not someone like you."
Goku smiled sheepishly, then clenched his fists.
"Then I'll just have to try harder!"
His aura flared golden — Super Saiyan. Lightning sparked as the sacred ground trembled faintly.
Shin's eyes widened. "Wh-what is this power…?!"
Kibito froze in shock. "Impossible…! A mortal transforming like that?!"
Rudra smiled faintly. "I told you… they're pure-blooded Saiyans."
Even in his Super Saiyan state, Goku strained. His muscles tensed, veins bulging — but the sword refused to move.
"Man… this thing really is as heavy as the universe," Goku gasped, wiping sweat from his forehead.
Vegeta, impatient, rose into the air beside him.
"Step aside, Kakarot. I'll show you how it's done."
He grabbed the hilt, pulling with force. The ground cracked under his boots — but the sword stayed still.
"Tch… what?" Vegeta muttered, his pride burning.
His aura exploded again as he transformed into Super Saiyan 2. The lightning around him flashed violently as he pulled again, growling through clenched teeth.
Still, the sword did not move.
Rudra's eyes narrowed, confusion flickering in them. What's going on? he thought. In the manga, Super Saiyan strength should have been enough…
Vegeta's frustration grew into rage.
His voice roared across the divine mountain.
"This Z Sword is NOTHING before the Prince of all Saiyans!"
His power skyrocketed — and with a thunderous scream, his hair grew longer, his aura roaring like a storm.
Super Saiyan 3.
The sacred air trembled as divine clouds swirled overhead. Even the mountain shook under the pressure.
Vegeta's eyes burned with determination. "I'll tear this thing out if I have to destroy the whole mountain!"
He grabbed the sword's handle and pulled with all his might — but the blade refused to budge. The mountain groaned but the sword stayed locked in place.
"Still not moving?!" Vegeta shouted in disbelief.
Rudra frowned, watching carefully. Then he turned toward Goku.
"Goku — help him."
"Got it!" Goku said, flashing a grin. He powered up again, his aura merging with Vegeta's golden storm.
Both Saiyans, now in Super Saiyan 3, screamed together — their combined power shaking the heavens.
They grabbed the sword together, their ki colliding in waves of golden lightning that split the clouds above them.
The wind pressure was so immense that Rudra, Shin, and Kibito had to shield their faces. The very sky roared under the Saiyans' combined might.
Shin shouted over the roaring wind, "Just… how powerful are these Saiyans?!"
The divine mountain cracked — veins of light spreading like thunderbolts across its base. The stones shattered, the air turned molten with ki energy.
Then, with one last joint scream—
"RRRAAAAHHHHHHH!!!"
The entire mountain exploded.
And from the ruins, Goku and Vegeta emerged, each holding the colossal Z Sword — gleaming and impossibly heavy, trembling in their hands.
The Z Sword was free.
Rudra's eyes widened slightly. They actually did it.
The blade's divine weight pressed down on them both. Even for Saiyans, it was immense — like carrying the burden of the stars themselves.
