Chapter 99: The Birth of a Villain

"Besides him, will anyone else join the Anti-Demon Alliance? Mr. Sam, you don't need to speak, I know you're Captain America's staunchest supporter... Oh, and you also have a grudge against the Demon, he wrecked your house!" Tony shook his head. "Why don't you two form a duo? How about the Anti-Demon Brothers? You've both been thoroughly beaten by the Demon..."

"Me too." Hawkeye, who had been detached from the meeting, suddenly spoke up. His tone was calm, as if casually joining a dinner party.

"Legolas, the fourth lunatic!" Tony turned his head to say.

Natasha smiled silently. It had to be said that Tony was very talented in coining nicknames, such as Captain America Popsicle and point break. Hawkeye was skilled with a bow and arrow, which matched the image of Legolas the Elf from the movie "The Lord of the Rings".

Natasha also silently raised her hand, tapping the table lightly with her other hand.

"Agent Romanoff?" Tony turned to Natasha, his expression somewhat incredulous. "Alright, now I know, I'm the only normal one in this conference room!"

"Is there a possibility that you're the only coward here?" Thor said, crossing his arms.

"Perhaps! I'm selfish and cowardly..." Tony didn't care in the slightest. "Actually, I sincerely hope you succeed, and that the Anti-Demon Alliance can defeat the Demon. After all, no one wants a ticking time bomb on Earth, especially one that can ignite the entire Planet when it explodes. But I find it hard to see a chance of victory in you. The combination of Captain America Popsicle, Flying Bird Impersonator, Alien Tourist, Archer, and Agent is truly indescribable... Good luck!"

Tony turned and walked towards the door, when Captain America suddenly called out to him.

"Stark!"

"Don't try to drag a normal person down, Captain!" Tonysaid without turning his head.

"No, it's not to persuade you to join the Anti-Demon Alliance," Captain America stood up and said. "I need your help with something."

Tony stopped and turned to look at Captain America. "Please speak."

"I need Spider-Woman's contact information," Captain America said directly. "To fight the Demon, or even defeat him, we need to continuously strengthen the Anti-Demon Alliance. After this brief contact during 'Demon Project,' I believe Spider-Woman would be a very good candidate."

"Spider-Woman's combat power is strong, and the key is that she is also very kind, upholding justice, and has a sense of responsibility." Tony nodded in agreement, not stinting on praise. "I admit your judgment is good, but you've come to the wrong person. I don't know how to contact her... And even if you do contact her, it's impossible for her to join the Anti-Demon Alliance."

"Whether or not to join the Anti-Demon Alliance, I will communicate with her in detail later. The key now is that I need to contact her," Captain America said, looking at Tony.

"It has nothing to do with me, I don't have her contact information, and I don't know her true identity." Tonyshrugged. "Spider-Woman wears a mask, who would know her identity? My Iron Man Suit doesn't have X-ray vision..."

"No, you know, Stark," Captain America said seriously. "The pink suit she wore that day could only have come from you."

Tony chuckled upon hearing this, picked up Captain America's Parker fountain pen from the conference table, and said, "Captain, then you must have Mr. George Parker's contact information, right?"

"Stark, this isn't funny. I just need a contact method, not to know Spider-Woman's true identity," Captain Americainsisted.

Captain America's guess was correct; Tony not only had Spider-Woman's contact information but also knew her true identity!

After being threatened multiple times by the Demon and experiencing his mystery and power, Tony would also secretly investigate all information about the Demon. He was not an easy person to yield.

Initially, Tony had no clue. The Demon's only distinguishing feature was his mask, his appearances were erratic, and his actions had no discernible pattern... All this continued until he received that mysterious Demon order.

One night, the Demon sent the manufacturing blueprints for the Iron Spider Suit, stating it was for Spider-Woman. From that moment on, Tony secretly investigated all information about Spider-Woman, trying to dig up valuable information about the Demon from her.

First, the highly intelligent and detail-oriented Tony spent several days confirming Spider-Woman's true identity — Gwen Stacy, an excellent high school student.

Tony's method was simple and practical: he first had the AI Jarvis create a map of Spider-Woman's activity range. After extracting and analyzing a large amount of data about Spider-Woman from the internet, he concluded that Spider-Woman only operated in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Furthermore, the astute Tony deduced that Spider-Womanlived in Manhattan but traveled to Brooklyn daily to fight crime. After all, Manhattan was very prosperous, with strong Police presence and a very low crime rate. Conversely, if Spider-Woman lived in Brooklyn, there would be no reason for her to appear in Manhattan every day.

Secondly, Spider-Woman's powers likely came from a genetic mutation. Tony confirmed she gained her abilities from spider genes.

And the number of companies, scientific laboratories, private laboratories, and herpetology institutes in New Yorkresearching spider genes and mutated spiders was not large.

Another suspicious point was the tragedy at the Midtown School of Science and Technology prom. Spider-Womanarrived too promptly; less than a minute elapsed between the Green Goblin's appearance and Spider-Woman's. Why would a Superhero be passing by a school at night? The most reasonable answer was that she was either a staff member or a student at that school.

Finally, Jarvis pulled up a long list. And after Jarvis crawled the internet data, he summarized some information that might be related to Spider-Woman.

One YouTube video caught Tony's attention. The video was simple: Spider-Woman swung through the streets, crashing into several storefront signs before soaring away. Jarvis identified the video as AI-generated.

What was interesting wasn't the video, but a comment below it.

"This is fake!!!"

The netizen used three exclamation marks to express their strong stance. The meticulous Tony casually investigated this account and easily found that the owner was Gwen Stacy.

When this name appeared in Tony's eyes, he synthesized all the information in his mind and, within a few seconds, confirmed that Gwen Stacy was Spider-Woman.

Gwen lives on Parker Row in Manhattan.

Gwen interned with Dr. Connors' team in the Biological and Chemical Research Department of the Osborn Group... The Osborn Group began its mutated spider research project twenty years ago, and Dr. Connors is the recently famous Lizard Man, now serving time in a special prison.

Gwen is currently a graduating student at Midtown School of Science and Technology, and she also attended the graduation prom that night.

Moreover, Gwen's image perfectly matched Spider-Woman's: she came from a wealthy family, her father was the New York Police Department Commissioner, and she was naturally optimistic, kind, believed in justice, and had a law-abiding mindset.

"You work for S.H.I.E.L.D., getting Spider-Woman's contact information is no different from knowing her true identity. She appears with a mask, I cannot expose her identity."

With that, Tony turned and left, ignoring Captain America's repeated assurances.

Tony believed that even if he told Captain America Spider-Woman's true identity, it would be useless. The Demon and Spider-Woman already knew each other and had some unclear relationship... Spider-Woman participated in the mission to stop "Demon Project," but that didn't mean she would choose to be an enemy of the Demon.

Captain America watched Tony's retreating figure until he turned left out the door and disappeared from sight. The conference room was quiet, everyone silent.

"If he doesn't want to join, then so be it. He's just a mortal!" Thor said, looking at everyone's confused expressions. "And the weakest mortal among us!"

Everyone knew Thor had been fighting the Demon since his first appearance and hadn't seen Tony's Iron Armor, so no one was surprised by his statement.

"It's not that simple..." Natasha didn't say much; explaining many things to an Asgardian was troublesome.

"Alright, the Anti-Demon Alliance is officially established, with all of you as initial members," Captain America said, regaining his composure. "Although our alliance is not large in number right now, I believe it will grow rapidly, even though the fundamental reason is actually very unfavorable to us... The Demon is too powerful, and under his threat, more and more Superheroes will choose to join us."

"It's regrettable that Stark's aspirations differ from ours, and he chose not to join us. However, he raised a crucial point: 'Any organization needs a leader.' Our Anti-Demon Alliance will be no exception. Of course, our alliance has no hierarchy; the leader is merely a temporary Commanderduring wartime. The specific candidate will be jointly decided by everyone."

"Initially, our task is still to expand the alliance. I will continue to try and persuade Mr. Stark to join us, as well as Spider-Woman..."

Captain America was still speaking when Thor suddenly interrupted him.

"Good! Our army has assembled, so when do we go trouble the Demon? I can't wait to smash his head with my hammer!" Thor said excitedly. "Any objections to the leader? Before you stands Asgard's bravest warrior, the leader of the Heavenly Palace's valiant heroes!"

Thor's purpose in joining the Anti-Demon Alliance was simple: he wanted revenge on the Demon!

The Demon's own strength wasn't formidable, but he always avoided a head-on confrontation, ultimately defeating him with schemes and tricks! How could Thor be content with that?

Moreover, the Demon's persistent pursuit left him with injuries that still hadn't fully recovered. Thor had never suffered such a great loss throughout Asgard!

Besides this objective, Thor also regarded the Anti-Demon Alliance as a platform for him to adapt to human life.

Thor continued his confident speech: "Under my leadership, the Anti-Demon Alliance will surely defeat the Demon and become the most powerful organization on all of Earth..."

Sam was utterly shocked, Hawkeye once again turned to look out the window, and Natasha and Captain Americaexchanged glances, both full of helplessness.

This Asgardian seemed a bit slow-witted... Captain America spent a long time finally temporarily curbing Thor's idea of becoming the leader.

He went to the office of S.H.I.E.L.D. Director, Maria Hill.

Captain America placed a list on the desk, and Hill picked it up and scanned it.

"Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Clint Barton, Thor Odinson, Sam Wilson."

"Exactly as I envisioned, not one more, not one less," Hillsaid, putting down the list.

Captain America's expression was not good; he was dissatisfied with the current state of the Anti-Demon Alliance. Their combat power was generally low, incapable of inflicting substantial harm on the Demon, let alone defeating him. And now, Thor, the strongest in combat, was too erratic...

"Captain, why did you come up with the idea of forming an alliance to fight the Demon? And without informing anyone beforehand?" Hill asked casually. "I imagine after this, Agent Coulson won't be writing speeches for any more Superheroes."

"The Demon is too powerful, too dangerous," Captain America answered without hesitation. "Director Nick was right, we need to unite to fight him."

"I knew it," Hill said, glancing at the surrounding monitors. "What did Director Nick talk to you about? He hasn't responded to our link requests since 'Demon Project' ended."

"We talked a lot, but ultimately reached a consensus: to form the Anti-Demon Alliance!" Captain America said with his eyes closed. "He's actually dead, I know... All of this was still caused by the Demon."

"I thought you wouldn't be so sad, since you've only known him for less than a month." She said, finding a pen and adding "Maria Hill" at the end, then put the list away.

Captain America looked at this scene with some surprise. Hill calmly asked, "Is it very unexpected?"

"You are now the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and in a sense, you represent the entire S.H.I.E.L.D.," Captain Americaslowly nodded.

"The previous Director died at his hands, so S.H.I.E.L.D. has long been in an irreconcilable conflict with the Demon," Hillsaid, typing rapidly on the keyboard. "Now I think your approach is very correct."

The large screen lit up, and Captain America looked up to watch. It displayed videos and images, all records of cases the Demon was involved in or had caused.

"The Demon's first appearance: the Park Hyatt Hotelkidnapping."

"Battle with Lizard Man on the Brooklyn Bridge."

"Three Osborn Group executives murdered."

"Midtown School of Science and Technology Prom Tragedy."

"Morgan Bank Robbery."

"Demon Project..."

As Hill provided each brief description, corresponding pictures and videos played on the screen. After this process, she remained silent, the footage looping. Captain America watched quietly until the second playback ended.

"What did you see?" Hill asked.

Captain America slowly said:

"The birth of a villain..."

Chapter 100: Judgment

The warm Sun shone brightly in the afternoon, and the stands of the Midtown School of Science and Technologygreen field were packed with people.

But at this moment, the entire venue was silent. All spectators held their breath, watching the field intently. The game had entered the ninth inning, and the scores were extremely close. The final pitch would end the tense match and determine the winner.

In the stands, Gwen held Arthur's hand tightly, softly repeating the name of the team she supported.

A ray of sunlight flashed across the green field. If you shielded your eyes, you could faintly see the orange core at the center of the Sun.

The pitcher threw the ball. The quick-reacting batter accurately hit the baseball, sending out a crisp, loud sound. The baseball flew away, and the batter immediately dropped the bat and ran towards first base.

Under the gaze of tens of thousands, the baseball soared high, finally crossing the home run wall at the very back of the outfield!

Cheers erupted across the entire field simultaneously! Countless spectators raised their arms and shouted, and the green field instantly boiled over!

"Home run!"

Gwen shouted excitedly. She hugged Arthur, shaking him violently, and passionately kissed his cheek.

"Miss Spider, perhaps you should join the Women's Baseball League. You'd be unstoppable," Arthurwhispered into Gwen's ear.

"No!" Gwen placed both hands on Arthur's shoulders and said, "Superhero suits me better than baseball player."

After speaking, she kissed Arthur, embracing him passionately like the other couples in the stands.

A few minutes later, many spectators rushed onto the field to celebrate, but Arthur and Gwen held hands, avoiding the crowd, and left the venue.

The road was almost empty. Gwen cupped her hands and spun around, mimicking a batting motion. She maintained the posture with her back foot pointed, her tight jeans outlining her hips.

"Home run!" Gwen shouted excitedly, looking thoroughly pleased by the baseball game.

"If you played baseball, you'd be invincible, easily winning the MLB championship!" Gwen said enthusiastically, recalling Arthur's superpowers. "Not just baseball, but basketball, soccer, badminton... you could become a sports superstar!"

"By cheating?" Arthur shook his head. "But these options are all better than being a Superhero. They're safe, they provide income, and most importantly, you won't get cursed at."

"There you go again..." Gwen narrowed her eyes.

"Baseball games, bicycle rides, dessert shops..." Arthurlisted them one by one. "What else is in your dating notebook?"

"Movie theaters, aquariums, and Ferris wheels!"

Gwen linked her arm through Arthur's and said, "Are you free next week? We can go camping and have a picnic."

"I'm free next week, but right now, things are probably going to be delayed." Arthur's eyes flashed. "Do you remember the night Demon Project ended?"

Gwen froze, her face turning slightly red.

Gwen slapped Arthur. "I don't think we should bring that up in this setting..."

"What are you thinking about?" Arthur couldn't help but laugh. "I was talking about the second half of the night, those two genetically mutated criminals."

"Rhino and Jackal? Are they committing crimes nearby?"

"Not nearby, but right here in the school. They're heading in our direction... Should we sneak away? Or is Spider-Woman about to make an appearance?" Arthur said casually. "It seems they aren't ordinary criminals; they actually know where to find Spider-Woman."

Gwen was still processing the information when she couldn't help but ask, "They're coming for me?"

"What else around here would attract them? This is a school, not a shopping mall or a bank..." Arthur suddenly gave a mysterious smile. "However, this school seems quite popular with criminals. The demon, Green Goblin, and Lizard Man have all visited, and now we have these two."

"It's because certain students in the school cause trouble..." Gwen covered her face and sighed, "Darn it, the date is interrupted again..."

Gwen also thought Arthur's assessment was logical, and she prepared herself for a major fight. But Gwen was curious how Arthur knew that Rhino and Jackal were approaching. Was Arthur a human villain detector?

"How do they know I'm at this school? Do they know my true identity?" Gwen asked Arthur, her eyes full of worry.

"Who knows, both are possible." Holmes Arthur began his investigation. "Who knows your true identity?"

Gwen started listing them: "You, Norman Osborn... he's already dead, and Peter Parker?"

"And Harry Osborn, Iron Man might also know," Arthuradded for her. "So, the origin of these two is quite clear."

"How could Iron Man possibly know..." Gwen found it hard to believe. "I've only met him twice, and I never revealed any weakness."

"You underestimate Tony Stark's intelligence, but that's not the main point." Arthur cupped Gwen's head with both hands and said, "The point is that your old friend now wants to kill you. It's truly dramatic."

"Are you talking about Harry?" Gwen realized.

The Osborn Group had many achievements in the field of biological genetics. Green Goblin and Lizard Man were monsters indirectly created by Osborn, and she, too—her spider genes were acquired at Osborn... Rhino and Jackal, whom Gwen and Arthur faced a few days ago, clearly looked like products of genetic mutation.

Therefore, Arthur's guess was reasonable: Harry created these monsters and is now sending them to the school to attack her... Gwen slowly shook her head, finding this fact hard to accept.

"Green Goblin was Norman Osborn, right? He died at the dance that night, didn't he? The news reported he had been missing for a long time..."

Arthur pretended to ask. He always played his part completely and never showed any flaws.

This statement exploded in Gwen's mind. She slowly nodded, and instantly, Gwen had no doubts left... In Harry's mind, he must believe that Spider-Woman and the demon killed Norman Osborn.

Suddenly, a commotion erupted from the music room not far away. Moments later, panicked students scattered in all directions.

"Don't overthink it, my dear Miss Gwen." Arthur pinched her shoulder from behind. "Running, or..."

"You know my choice." Gwen interrupted Arthur. She took off her baseball cap and put it backward on Arthur's head. "Sister is going to eliminate the bad guys! Your mission is to protect innocent students from harm..."

"I never said I was going to get involved!" Arthuremphasized, adjusting the direction of the cap. "I'm not a Superhero..."

"Time is short, we can talk more after this is over." Gwenkissed Arthur again. "Now someone is trying to bully your beautiful girlfriend. Are you going to sit by and let poor me fight alone?"

"Then they all have to die."

Arthur suddenly said calmly, causing Gwen to feel a chill.

"Uh... you don't need to be so violent." Gwen corrected him. "The best solution is to restrain him, hand him over to the Police, and let the judge sentence him..."

"Gwen, dealing with criminals isn't playing house..." Arthur sneered and walked towards the music room. "You've convinced me. Now, you go somewhere safe and wait for me. I'll handle those two genetically modified monsters... Yes, I will sentence them on behalf of the judge."

"I am Spider-Woman! I'm a Superhero, not a weak little girl!" Gwen protested. "And I'm also genetically mutated..."

"Okay, okay." Arthur brushed her off, not looking back. "You're in charge of evacuating the crowd and ensuring everyone's safety, Miss Spider."

Arthur moved against the flow of people, and the dense crowd automatically parted, creating a path for him.

Gwen behind him wasn't so lucky. She hadn't had time to change into her spider suit, and she couldn't use webs or climb walls to bypass the crowd. She could only watch helplessly as Arthur entered the building and disappeared from her sight.

Gwen wasn't worried about Arthur's safety; that night, when Arthur intervened, he crushed the two genetically modified criminals easily. She was just annoyed that Arthur had left her behind. The correct plot should involve the couple fighting side-by-side, working together to defeat the criminals.

Arthur entered the building. On one side of the wall, he saw a large hole, which must have been Rhino's handiwork.

Midtown School of Science and Technology doesn't have a perimeter wall, and the street is right behind this building. It seems the two criminals entered the school from here.

Thanks to the Dragon Talisman, Arthur could clearly sense the energy sources of Rhino and Jackal. Soon, he pushed open the door of a music classroom and found the two of them.

Jackal was standing by the window looking out at the playground, while the enormous Rhino was destroying the classroom.

The vigilant Jackal noticed Arthur. Arthur's reaction was extremely strange; he wasn't afraid, and was even very calm, which surprised Jackal.

"Kid, are you a student here? Which way is the graduating class? And have you heard the name Gwen Stacy?"

Rhino also turned around, staring at Arthur with ill intent.

"Of course," Arthur said calmly as he walked to the center of the classroom. "She is my girlfriend."

Jackal smiled faintly. Not wanting to waste time, he casually picked up a nearby desk and threw it. The desk shot out rapidly, smashing towards Arthur.

Suddenly, he froze, his eyes full of astonishment... The shock instantly turned to fear, and a chill spread throughout his body.

The desk had stopped motionless in mid-air... Rhino also reacted. He lowered his body and charged at Arthur, his head horn aimed at Arthur's head.

Both of them recalled an unpleasant memory: the mysterious person who suddenly appeared and brutalized them during their fight with Spider-Woman that night!

Arthur casually waved his hand, and Rhino was sent flying sideways, crashing through the wall and falling into the green belt outside.

The desk suspended in the air was reflected back, moving ten times its original speed! The agile Jackal was hit before he could even dodge.

With a boom, the iron desk crumpled, and Jackal fell to the ground, his head twisted, followed by a severe dizzy spell.

But this was only the beginning. Arthur turned his head to look at a piano on the side of the classroom, and the piano immediately flew up and smashed toward Jackal.

The still-unconscious Jackal was hit by a second heavy blow. Arthur looked coldly at the ruined classroom, his palms slowly clenching together.

The piano on Jackal instantly burst under immense force, and the shattered parts tightly wrapped around Jackal.

Tuning pins and shattered internal mechanisms forcefully drilled into Jackal's body. Jackal, lying on the floor, let out a chilling scream, as if undergoing some cruel torture.

The piano's iron frame twisted together and wrapped around Jackal's neck, continuously contracting under Arthur's control. The screams in the classroom abruptly stopped. Jackal's face was flushed red from his constricted windpipe. He tried to use his claws to cut through the restraint on his neck, but the sharp claws only pierced his own throat, leaving him covered in blood.

Arthur's hand clenched completely. The strings of the shattered piano also pierced Jackal's body, entering neatly through his chest and exiting his back, exposed to the air and trailing blood. At this moment, Jackal looked more like a blood-soaked hedgehog... Even though these gene monsters possessed great vitality, under Arthur's sharp offensive, Jackal quickly ceased resisting and collapsed into a pool of blood.

The entire battle lasted less than ten seconds. The genetically mutated Jackal was utterly killed by Arthur.

Arthur didn't even glance at Jackal's miserable corpse. He turned and walked towards the large hole Rhino had smashed in the wall.

Rhino was dizzy from the fall. Just as he climbed out of the green belt and wiped the grass clippings from his face, he found his body floating uncontrollably, moving backward and returning to the music classroom.

Suspended in the air, Rhino's limbs constantly churned the air as he tried to break free from Arthur's Psychokinesis control. Rhino's fear magnified, and the terrible memory of that night resurfaced in his mind... Arthur looked at the green polymer skin and the metal armor on Rhino's back, feeling a slight headache. Without using attacks clearly labeled as 'demon' abilities, it would be difficult for him to kill Rhino.

Arthur used the Rooster Talisman to float Rhino in front of him. He stretched out his hand and pressed it onto Rhino.

The phantom of the Tiger Totem flashed in his eyes. He fully activated the Tiger Talisman.

Rhino froze. He felt his body's energy rapidly draining away, accompanied by intense pain... Power Separation!

Under the effect of the Tiger Talisman, the Rhino gene power within him began to separate. He was about to transform from a gene monster back into a normal person.

A few seconds passed. The blue polymer skin on Rhino's body cracked and peeled off. The horn on his head and parts of the metal armor on his back began to fall away. His body continuously shrunk, decreasing from over three meters tall to about two meters, revealing a normal human appearance.

Arthur smiled slightly. Rhino, now a normal person, had no ability to resist. He had seen Arthur use the Rooster Talisman, so Arthur naturally couldn't let him live.

"Crack!"

A cello was crushed by immense force. Four strings were stretched horizontally and moved at high speed in neat alignment, the sound of them tearing the air like four blades.

A crisp string sound rang out, and the four strings effortlessly sliced through Rhino's body

Chapter 101: Identity Exposed

Arthur turned left and met Gwen, who was running late, at the stairwell.

"Where are Rhino and Jackal? No students were injured, right?" Gwen asked, looking at the shattered floor in the hallway. "Let me go change into my suit first, you stall them."

With that, Gwen ran towards the restroom, but as she passed Arthur, he reached out and hugged her.

"It's already handled."

Arthur turned Gwen's body, put his arm around her shoulder, and led her outside. He didn't want Gwen to see the tragic and bloody scene inside the classroom.

Otherwise, she would complain about it being too violent or too cruel... Recently, Teacher Gwen always liked to instill correct ideologies in Student Arthur.

Gwen was somewhat incredulous, even unable to comprehend. She had just made her way through the crowd to get here, only delaying for a few tens of seconds.

"It's solved so quickly? Are you serious?" After being led by Arthur for a few steps, she finally reacted and said.

Arthur smiled and nodded a few times, but Gwen still seemed a bit uneasy.

"No, I want to take a look." Gwen insisted, "After all, they came for me!"

"They came for me too." Arthur held her tightly, not letting go. "Do you think I would joke about these things? Now we should go. I've already heard the sirens, and it might even be your dad on duty... You don't want your identity exposed, do you, Miss Spider?"

Gwen also heard the sirens. Recently, Midtown School of Science and Technology had been a hotspot for incidents, so the police response time was quite fast.

After hearing Arthur's words, Gwen finally felt relieved. Although she didn't approve of Arthur's style of doing things, she had no doubts about his abilities.

Soon Gwen's phone rang, and it was indeed her father, George.

It seemed just as Arthur had said, this time after Midtown Tech reported the incident, Chief George personally responded.

"Dad..." Gwen answered the phone. "I'm fine, and Arthuris fine too!"

George on the other end of the phone finally breathed a sigh of relief. For some unknown reason, there had been so many superpowered criminals attacking Midtown School of Science and Technology recently. If Gwen wasn't in her final year, he would definitely find a way to transfer her... "Yes, two genetically mutated criminals, similar to Dr.Connors who turned into the Lizard Man last time..." George was asking Gwen about the basic situation.

The two walked on a deserted path, Arthur's hand, resting on Gwen's shoulder, played with her long golden hair.

Arthur knew that although Rhino and Jackal had been killed by him, this was far from over.

The mastermind, Harry, was still hidden in the shadows, and Peter Parker—Arthur's intuition told him he was also involved.

Arthur didn't choose to coerce or interrogate Rhino and Jackal; in his opinion, that was a waste of time. He would deal with those hidden in the dark in his own way and end all of this.

Arthur twirled Gwen's soft hair between his fingers, inadvertently touching the cold, delicate skin on her neck. Arthur moved his hand up, his thumb tracing her jawline.

"There shouldn't be any student casualties, right...?" Gwensaid, shrinking her neck and glaring at Arthur.

Arthur smiled silently. He suddenly saw a faint cleavage in the pure white... Arthur looked around and only saw the chubby Chinese man at a fork in the road a hundred meters ahead.

Arthur's eyes flickered, and the chubby man suddenly let out a cry of surprise as he was thrown onto another cobblestone path.

Arthur's palm slid down, passing the collar... "Ah!... It's nothing, Dad, I mean it's calm over there now, maybe the criminals escaped? We don't know the specifics, no one dares to go near there."

Gwen held her phone in one hand and tried to pry Arthur's hand away with the other, struggling with him.

But Arthur held his ground, feeling the softness and delicacy in his palm... "Mm, okay... Dad, I'm hanging up now, be careful at work!"

Gwen quickly hung up the phone. She glared angrily at Arthur, who promptly hugged her.

"Student Gwen, I just helped you deal with two criminals, shouldn't I get a reward?" Arthur said with a smile.

"What reward do you want?" Gwen stared at him with an unfriendly gaze.

"There's no one around." Arthur lowered his head and kissed Gwen's fair neck.

On a cobblestone path, the chubby man climbed out of the nearby green belt. He didn't wipe off the mud and dead leaves on his face; instead, he looked at his body in shock. He looked around, the pain from his body constantly reminding him that he was in reality... "Sir, Miss Potts is calling." Jarvis's voice echoed in the R&D lab.

"I'm studying thermodynamics, I just fell asleep, I'm upgrading the Iron Armor... Just find any excuse, it's a critical moment anyway, I can't be disturbed." Tony said, taking off his VR glasses. "Just don't let her bother me with board meeting stuff!"

Tony's palm swept across the desk, and a virtual keyboard lit up. His hands rapidly typed in the air, continuously refining millimeter-sized part models.

He virtually grabbed a part and threw it out. The part's model appeared on the 3D screen directly in front of him, entering the model of the Iron Armor's left forearm.

Tony extended his left hand, slowly passing through the virtual left forearm model. In a moment, all the parts were assembled, perfectly fitting his arm.

As he issued the command, the Iron Armor's left forearm model began to change, from assembly and disassembly to weapon attacks, all being tested.

But it was clear from Tony's expression that he was not satisfied.

"Sir, you have a visitor..."

"No, no, I'm not seeing anyone!" Tony was very impatient.

"It's the Demon..." Jarvis reminded him.

Tony instantly looked up, his gaze sweeping over instruments and mechanical arms, meeting the familiar yet strange demon mask through a layer of glass.

Tony avoided the Demon's gaze. "Open the door, Jarvis."

The glass door slowly slid open to both sides, and the Demon walked towards Tony at a steady pace.

Tony waved his left hand, and the left forearm model automatically disassembled and detached. He grabbed the model and tossed it aside, all the parts flying apart and shattering, all entering that local file.

Tony slid his finger, hiding the folder. The file name was: "Anti-Demon Armor"

"Long time no see, Mr. Demon!" Tony reached for a glass of chlorophyll on the table. "I didn't get to see you during 'Demon Project' last time... I must say, 'Demon Project' was truly insane and formidable, and only you could have implemented it."

Tony took a sip of chlorophyll juice after speaking, an action that seemed to relieve tension... Every time he faced the Demon, he would feel nervous, accompanied by varying degrees of fear and other negative emotions.

Tony was not a self-deceiving person; he always faced his weaknesses squarely. He quickly realized that this action of his was a disguised show of weakness to the Demon... He drank chlorophyll because of palladium poisoning, and this symptom had severely affected his safety. Recent monitoring data showed blood toxicity at 39%, with a fast diffusion rate.

Drinking chlorophyll in front of the Demon was like reminding the other party that he was a patient, and a terminally ill patient with not much time left... to remind the Demon not to waste energy on a patient!

Tony's worries were not unfounded. After all, he had just sabotaged "Demon Project" not long ago, and Captain America had even loudly proclaimed Tony's outstanding contributions to the World... He must think he's very selfless, right? But Tony just wanted to shut him up!

Thinking of this, Tony still put down the chlorophyll... He constantly reminded himself that the Demon was not scary; if he didn't dare to face him, he would never be able to defeat him!

"That was indeed a great plan, but you destroyed it." Arthur said ominously, "Mr. Stark!"

Tony immediately picked up the glass of chlorophyll. He said innocently, "It wasn't me! It was Captain America and Spider-Woman. That day, I replaced the positioning chip on Aircraft A, but then Aircraft A was destroyed by you. I didn't contribute anything to the whole thing... You remember that, Mr. Demon, don't you?"

"The past is past, I like to look forward." Arthur said with a smile, "Next time, please continue to oppose me."

"No, no, I don't want to oppose anyone..." Tony explained, "This time my name was on that death list, all thanks to those damn HYDRA!"

"I heard you established the Anti-Demon Alliance?" Arthur suddenly said.

Tony gasped, thinking, 'I knew it!'

"Not us, it's them! I'm not involved, the Anti-Demon Alliance has nothing to do with me!" Tony emphasized, "I posted a tweet on my social media account, I will not join any official organization."

"That's a shame!" Arthur reached across the table and patted Tony's shoulder. "With your intelligence, you would be a very interesting enemy, and tearing apart your Iron Armor would be equally interesting..."

Tony watched the Demon's hand patting his shoulder without a change in expression. His entire palm was exposed outside the cuff, and with just one glance, Tonygathered a lot of information.

The Demon is of yellow skin color; he is most likely Asian.

His skin is delicate and free of any scars or calluses. The Demon's body is very young... The Demon also said before that he was not yet of legal drinking age.

Of course, all these inferences are based on the assumption that the Demon is not disguised.

"Aren't we friends? How could we become enemies?" Tonyforced a smile. "I'm a scientist, I'm only interested in research."

"Defeat me with your science?" Arthur leaned his hands on the table and smiled. "You can create all sorts of weapons for the Anti-Demon Alliance to fight me. With your intelligence, perhaps it would only take fifty years to develop a weapon to defeat me... Maybe even just thirty years!"

"Thank you, thank you for the compliment." Tony nodded. "Are you curious about that alliance? I have their roster, and on paper, they couldn't accomplish their mission even if they tried for another fifty years."

"Captain America, Hawkeye, who else was there? Nick Fury? Oh, I just remembered I killed him..."

Tony's face was covered in black lines. He stroked the rim of his glass and replied, "Retired soldier Sam, AgentRomanoff, and that Thor Odinson."

"By the way, that point break is still on Earth, how's he doing?" Arthur asked.

"point break? Someone actually thinks like me!" Tony felt like he had found a kindred spirit, but the bad news was that this kindred spirit was the Demon. "He's doing alright, nothing special except I heard he eats a lot every day... After you beat him up, he's planning his revenge, constantly thinking about usurping Captain Rogers' leadership and bringing the Anti-Demon Alliance to fight you."

"So, next time I'll need to beat up two Asgardians..." Arthur muttered to himself.

"What?" Tony didn't hear clearly.

"Nothing!" Arthur said, "I came to you this time because I need your help."

When do you ever come to me without needing something? Tony grumbled inwardly.

"Friends should help each other!"

Arthur nodded, as if indicating he was very satisfied with Tony's attitude.

"Help me find a place. Harry Osborn has a secret Basewhere he mass-produces genetic monsters using genetic mutation technology."

"When did you start taking on vigilante work?" Tonycouldn't help but retort.

Arthur glanced at him, and Tony chugged a mouthful of chlorophyll.

"No problem, that's easy." Tony assured him, "Jarvis is very good at data processing. He can access surveillance cameras throughout New York City, eliminate suspicious locations one by one, and even just continuously track Harry Osborn to get the answer."

"Within three days, send the address to that email." Arthur said calmly.

Tony nodded. "Do you need my assistance in combat? I also enjoy fighting criminals sometimes."

"Standing in front of you might be the biggest criminal in all of New York."

Tony was choked up and said nothing, just continued drinking the chlorophyll. Only then did he realize the chlorophyll solution was already at the bottom.

"Has the palladium poisoning problem been solved?" Arthur asked with ill intent, "You brilliant Iron Man?"

"As you can see, not yet." Tony said with a nonchalant expression.

"Do you need my help?"

"But I already have a clue... I believe I'll solve this problem very soon." Tony said confidently, "Thank you, Demon, my friend!"

Arthur smiled, unconcerned. "Then good luck."

Arthur turned and left. Tony watched his retreating figure until the Demon disappeared before he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Tony slumped in his chair, softly calling out, "Jarvis!"

"Detecting, sir!" Jarvis displayed a radar feedback map on the large screen. "Sir, the Demon is rapidly moving away from Stark Industries Tower; he is not hiding his tracks."

"Now, search for all suspicious secret laboratory locations near New York, and constantly monitor Harry Osborn's movements." Tony commanded.

"Yes, sir."

Tony sat up straight again. He opened a hidden folder and clicked on the only image inside.

It was a blurry photo, vaguely discernible as a human face, appearing to be a screenshot from surveillance video.

In a dimly lit corridor, under the white light of emergency lamps, Arthur walked hand-in-hand with Gwen through a crowded flow of people.

Arthur wore a fitted black suit with no superfluous accessories. Gwen wore a silver crystal-embedded gown, her golden hair loose, her skin fair. Her complete set of custom gold and amethyst jewelry reflected the emergency lights, making her exceptionally dazzling... Unlike the frozen, panicked expressions of the people around them, Arthur's face was calm, and Gwen's expression was composed. They didn't look like frantic escapees exiting, but rather graceful dancers entering.

Tony didn't look at the bright and captivating Gwen; his entire attention was on Gwen's boyfriend, the person named Arthur.

Arthur seemed to slowly step out of the image, coming before him, to the spot where the Demon had just stood... Arthur's face also donned that demon mask, and he began to move at a steady pace, conversing with him... Tony instantly woke up with a start!

Chapter 102: The Genetic Villain Group

In a dark secret room, sounds constantly emanated from the operating table in the center... A man was restrained there, his mouth sealed, his body and three limbs fixed by metal shackles. He was disabled, his left leg amputated from the knee.

He struggled ceaselessly, not stopping even as his hands were chafed raw by the metal shackles.

Accompanying the darkness was absolute silence; there was no noise in the secret room. The man could even hear his own breathing and the rapid beating of his heart amidst the friction of the fabric as he struggled.

A completely dark, enclosed space is an extremely terrifying psychological challenge, as humans are accustomed to a noisy life and cannot adapt to absolute quiet. Staying in such an environment for too long causes dual psychological and physiological damage.

Not to mention he was also restrained and could smell a strong scent of blood in the air... At this moment, he felt like a lamb awaiting slaughter on a chopping block!

Suddenly, a series of hurried footsteps echoed from a certain direction, growing from distant to near, appearing even more eerie in the silent environment... The sound of these footsteps made the man's scalp tingle.

A normal person's footsteps are a series of fixed-frequency 'tap-tap' sounds, but the footsteps he heard now were loud and exceptionally chaotic, like a group of women approaching, or a creature with multiple legs, each wearing high heels, rapidly drawing closer.

Upon hearing the footsteps, the man struggled even more violently, but when the footsteps stopped beside him, he calmed down instead, not daring to move. He widened his eyes, able to see a shadow swaying in the darkness... With a 'click,' the shadowless lamp above the operating table was turned on, and the pure white light descended, making it impossible for the man to open his eyes.

It was a long time before he adjusted to the dazzling light, squinting his eyes cautiously to observe the person next to him and the surrounding environment... In his memory, he had been recuperating in an Osborn hospital, and after waking up from a nap, he found himself in this dark secret room.

The person standing beside the operating table remained silent throughout the entire process. He watched the fear on the man's contorted face and slowly began to smile.

"Bryce Klarry?"

Bryce, lying on the operating table, stared wide-eyed at the person in front of him. The person appeared young, around eighteen years old, with a somewhat youthful appearance.

But what was terrifying was that several black limbs grew from his back, like spider legs, with exceptionally sharp tips that reflected cold, shimmering light under the lamps. One look and it was clear they could easily pierce a person's chest, sending chills down one's spine.

Peter Parker held a copied paper, a smile on his face.

"In a military operation a year ago, your left leg was injured by an explosion, and subsequently amputated." Peter read the information on the copied paper. "Dear Mr. Bryce, I believe you too have fantasized countless nights about your severed limb regenerating and returning to a normal life, haven't you?"

Bryce didn't understand, but his intuition told him something bad was about to happen. He shook his head vigorously, making muffled sounds, and struggled even more fiercely with his hands.

"Lady Luck is smiling upon you..."

Peter muttered to himself as he took a syringe from a box.

Under the light, the green liquid in the syringe seemed to flow, as if possessing life.

"Lizard Gene Enhancement Serum, code A34, first experiment..."

Peter gently pressed the plunger of the syringe, pushing out the air within.

Bryce shook his head frantically, his struggles causing the operating table to clatter. He knew his predicament now; he was being used for human experimentation!

Peter reached out a hand and pressed it against Bryce's chest. Instantly, Bryce stopped struggling, ceasing all movement... A tremendous force emanated from Peter's palm. Bryce felt as if a mountain had been placed on his chest; he couldn't breathe.

A 'crack' sound was heard. Bryce's face turned pale. He felt an intense pain in his chest as his ribs fractured and pierced his lungs. He became listless, only able to exhale, but unable to inhale air.

The person in front of him had actually broken his ribs with one hand? What kind of monster was this!

"Quiet, relax."

Peter said slowly, as if telling a bedtime story.

The needle tip pierced Bryce's skin, entering a vein. Peterpushed down the plunger, injecting all the serum into Bryce's bloodstream.

"Witness the moment of a miracle..." Peter said, stepping back half a pace.

The highly active serum surged through Bryce's blood vessels. He felt a warm current coursing wildly through his body, accompanied by intense pain!

Bryce began to struggle again, his movements larger. The metal shackles around his neck squeaked as they were bumped, eventually falling off directly... Bryce felt the heat intensify in his chest, and with it, the pain from his broken ribs decreased. After a few seconds, he even lost all sensation, and his breathing became clear.

Greater pain came from his already amputated left leg, accompanied by an itching sensation, as if someone was grinding his bones... Peter watched Bryce's left leg; the severed limb was rapidly growing, with white cortical tissue constantly shedding from the newly grown left leg, revealing tender new skin underneath.

But this still didn't satisfy Peter. He carefully observed Bryce's condition, from his contorted face to his fearful eyes, discerning whether Bryce's body was controlled by the Lizard's Beast gene.

Dozens of seconds passed, and Bryce did not grow green skin like other test subjects. His appearance and physique remained the same as before the injection. The only difference was the newly grown severed limb.

"It seems Lady Luck truly favors you... Mr. Bryce." Petersaid, picking up the syringe with the 'A34' label.

"Whoosh!" One of the spider legs behind Peter cut through the air, swiftly piercing Bryce's abdomen, dragging out a stream of blood as it retracted.

Bryce only let out a scream after the spider leg retracted, struggling in agony.

However, the wound in Bryce's abdomen immediately stopped bleeding and healed at a visible speed. In less than five seconds, the injury left by Peter's spider leg was completely healed, leaving no scar on his skin, apart from the puddle of fresh blood.

"I truly am a genius..."

Another spider leg, controlled by Peter, slashed out again, severing Bryce's newly grown left lower leg.

Bryce screamed repeatedly, on the verge of fainting from the pain. He bit down hard, blood flowing from the corners of his mouth.

Peter watched as Bryce's severed left leg grew back again, and he finally showed a satisfied smile.

Another spider leg was stained with blood... Undoubtedly, Peter was enjoying the process.

"Peter? The enhanced Lizard Serum succeeded?" Another voice emerged, hoarse and grating. Bryce, who had been enduring torment, hadn't noticed when a third person had entered the secret room.

"It seems so, Harry." Peter said without looking back. He had sensed Harry when he walked down the corridor. "This is the first perfect serum, pure life force. It will only give the human body the Lizard's regenerative gene, without turning people into ugly lizards like Connors. This way, it won't reject the genes of other animals either..."

"So, we can inject every gene warrior with the enhanced Lizard Serum? Everyone will possess powerful regenerative abilities, and we can even establish an army of immortal and powerful gene warriors?"

Harry finished speaking, a crazed smile appearing on his face, making his burned face appear exceptionally terrifying.

"Oh, and it can also fix my face..."

"Bang!" Bryce exerted force with both hands, actually breaking the metal shackles. He stood up and lunged almost frantically at Harry next to him.

"Bang bang bang!" Harry drew the pistol from his waist and emptied the clip. Each bullet accurately hit Bryce's chest.

A spray of blood splattered, the bullets embedded in Bryce's body. The powerful kinetic energy caused him to halt his movement, and he fell backward onto the operating table.

Something that surprised Harry happened: Bryce, who had only been injected with the enhanced Lizard Gene Serum, actually withstood an entire clip!

Bryce did not lose vital signs. The flesh on his chest rapidly healed, and he lunged again, baring his fangs and claws... "Pfft!"

Blood splattered several meters high, flying onto the ceiling and splashing all over Harry.

A sharp spider leg pierced Bryce's chest from the front, and as it was pulled out, a beating heart hung from its tip.

Another spider leg was inserted into Bryce's temple from the side. The Lizard gene could no longer repair his body. As he fell, white human tissue flowed from the bloody hole... Harry calmly pulled a white handkerchief from his chest and wiped the blood from his face. The two walked out, Harry moving quickly down the corridor, while Peterwalked upside down on the ceiling.

"Jackal and Rhino died, they died in our school." Harry said indifferently, seemingly unconcerned about their lives.

The large screen was covered with a photo of a music classroom turned into ruins.

Peter immediately saw Jackal lying among a pile of piano fragments. He identified him by Jackal's greenish fur; otherwise, no one would recognize that 'hedgehog'.

Countless wood chips and iron pieces were embedded in his body, and even more chilling were the piano strings that ran through him. The piano, which played music, was actually the weapon that killed Jackal, which slightly surprised Peter.

Rhino was nowhere to be seen, but upon closer inspection, several body parts could be found on the ground, enough to piece together a human form.

"He's Rhino?" Peter asked in surprise.

"After examination, his identity was confirmed as RhinoAleksei Sytsevich." Harry's hoarse voice sounded, "It's unbelievable, he reverted to his appearance before the gene serum injection."

Peter's expression was not good; there seemed to be a hint of fear in his deep gaze.

His power came from the gene serum, yet now someone could separate the power of genes..

Chapter 103: Deep Kiss and Disagreement

In the dim room, only the screen glowed, casting a fluorescent blue light on Peter's angry face.

"Crack!" A spider leg shot out, and a row of glass test tubes shattered one after another, spilling colorful solutions all over the floor.

"Who killed them?" Peter said in a deep voice. "Reverse gene… who possesses such power?"

Peter's anger stemmed from fear of the unknown power, not the deaths of his two subordinates.

"No one knows. They were all dead when the police arrived." Harry shook his head. "Anyway, Gwen Stacycouldn't possibly possess such power."

"Of course, she's just a low-level spider." Peter muttered to himself, "This isn't power that humans can possess…"

"Are you saying, demons?" Mentioning that name, Harry's eyes flared with hateful rage.

"Besides that, I can't think of anyone who could easily strangle Jackal and Rhino. From the pictures, they didn't even resist, and there's that unscientific reverse gene ability…" Peter said word by word, "Perhaps there are other superpowered individuals in New York, and he might even be in the school."

"An unknown Superhero? With reverse gene ability?"

Harry frowned. The power they relied on came from genetic mutation. This Superhero with the ability to counteract them was practically a fated enemy!

His and Peter's gene villain group had just been established, and they had already encountered such a powerful enemy, which made it a bit difficult for him to accept.

"Superhero?" Peter laughed. "His killing method doesn't resemble a Superhero. Jackal and Rhino were completely tormented and killed by him, even more cruelly than us…"

"Then don't provoke him!" Harry waved his hand. "Right now, our most urgent task is to deal with Spider-Woman, kill Gwen!"

At that dance, his father Norman Osborn had vanished into thin air before his eyes. This was a painful memory he could never forget! He survived that graduation dance, and since then, the seeds of hatred had been sown… Revenge drove him to do all this, uniting with the monster Spider-Beastman Peter, conducting numerous human experiments to continuously improve the gene serum, creating powerful gene warriors who obeyed them.

Harry also injected the serum during this process, donned the Green Goblin armor, inherited his father Norman Osborn's mantle, and became the second-generation Green Goblin.

He yearned for revenge but hadn't lost his sanity. The power of demons was known to all, as evidenced by the World-shaking "Demon Project."

So Harry's target was the demon's helper, Spider-Woman, who was his former close friend Gwen Stacy.

Harry had already preset a perfect revenge plan in his mind!

Harry first wanted to kill Gwen's boyfriend Arthur, then have Gwen's Director father die in front of her. Once she felt the same despair as him, he would then kill her completely!

On the first point, he and Peter surprisingly reached an agreement… "Jackal serum makes people bloodthirsty, Rhino serum lowers intelligence, but the current Lizard serum has no side effects." Peter nodded, "We have the first perfect serum. It's time for her to pay. I'm already looking forward to the scene when I eat her brains…"

Harry flicked his finger, and the screen immediately switched to Arthur's picture.

"Then, let's start with him…"

…Night shrouded New York City, and Queens was silent.

Arthur was at home browsing news from all over the World, with filtering tags: Superhero, Anti-Demon Alliance, Mutant, Wakanda… Recently, Arthur hadn't gone out at night to earn villain points, for many reasons.

Arthur had already achieved villain points freedom, and ordinary crimes happening on the streets of New York no longer interested him.

The last point was that ever since he and Gwen Stacycame clean, Spider-Woman often raided his detached Villaat night…

Suddenly, Arthur exited the webpage and deleted his browsing history. He got up and went to the window, opening it.

Arthur had already sensed Gwen's familiar energy source rapidly approaching. He just hoped Gwen would wear new ballet shoes tonight.

A whooshing sound, and a dark figure rapidly approached in the night, finally crashing into Arthur's arms.

"You didn't tell me you were also a humanoid Superherodetector," Gwen said, pulling the curtains shut.

Arthur leaned Gwen against the window, holding her waist with both hands.

"Couldn't it be telepathy between you and me? My heart beats faster whenever you get close."

Gwen took off her spider hood and tossed it aside, where it ended up hanging on the computer monitor.

Tonight, Gwen was actually wearing makeup. Arthurleaned down and kissed Gwen. Her lips were cool, and they separated after a brief touch.

"I thought you wouldn't say sweet nothings," Gwen looked at Arthur with alluring eyes, "but yesterday at school, you also accurately predicted the approach of Jackal and Rhino."

Arthur's hand on Gwen's slender waist began to move downwards. Gwen had a standard hourglass figure, with fleshy but not thick thighs. Even through the tight suit, he could feel her fullness and tenderness.

"So late at night, are we just going to talk about this?"

Arthur said, looking down… He took another half step back and finally saw a pair of brand new blue ballet shoes on Gwen's feet. Only then did he nod in satisfaction.

Gwen had no idea about Arthur's rich inner thoughts. "What were you doing just now? Playing games? I saw the computer was on…"

"What I was doing before isn't important," Arthur looked at Gwen, "but what we do next is…"

Gwen's eyes flickered. Having spent so much time with Arthur, she had learned a lot… "It's still early!" Gwenlooked at the time on the computer screen. "21:31, the night is still long. Before that, I have something I want to tell you."

"I feel like two things can happen at the same time, talking and doing…"

Arthur picked Gwen up and had her sit on the windowsill. He buried his head in Gwen's neck, inhaling a faint fragrance.

Gwen smiled, clasping her hands together on Arthur's shoulders.

Tens of seconds later, she jumped off the windowsill, adjusted her tight suit around her chest, and walked towards the chair in front of the computer.

Gwen lay back in the chair, propping her long legs on the desk as she had that night. She picked up the mouse and started using the computer.

"I think we need to have a good talk," Gwen said, looking back at Arthur. "I saw the crime scene photos released by the police online…"

Arthur nodded; he had already anticipated what Gwenwanted to say.

Gwen's sense of justice was too strong; it was normal for them to have differences and conflicts in their philosophies. Arthur had long been mentally prepared for this.

"Arthur, you really possess immense power. Jackal and Rhino were completely powerless against you." Gwenslowly said, "You can even control fragile Qin strings to pierce through Jackal's body and slice Rhino into pieces… but don't you think that's too cruel?"

Chapter 104: Under the Night Sky

The night wind blew strongly, shaping the curtains. Arthurwaved his hand lightly, and the window slowly closed.

Gwen in the room continued speaking. Before coming tonight, she had prepared herself mentally. She intended to have an open and honest talk with Arthur, even if it might cause conflict between them... Gwen would use all her capability to try and change Arthur. The education she received from childhood prevented Gwen from ignoring a person's violent and cruel methods, especially when that person was her own boyfriend.

"And you are very mysterious. You have always known I was Spider-Woman, but it took me a long time to realize you were also a superhuman. Even now, I don't fully understand. You seem to have many hidden abilities..." Gwen said faintly. "Like the Demon. Arthur, do you know that for a long time, I suspected you were the Demon? You are both equally powerful and mysterious, but the Demon is a hundred times more extreme than you..."

"Thank you for the compliment!" Arthur thought internally.

"But I don't care about any of that. Everyone has their privacy. The person I love is just Arthur, not those powerful super abilities."

Gwen stared at the computer screen. She didn't turn her head to look at Arthur's expression, afraid to see impatience or other negative emotions... After all, as his girlfriend, she couldn't interfere too much in Arthur's affairs. Moreover, everyone is an independent individual, and it's unreasonable to try to change someone's personality or force them to accept one's own values.

If this happened to any other couple in New York, the massive disagreement would create conflict, and it would be normal for their relationship to break down and for them to separate.

Gwen didn't want to break up with Arthur, but she also couldn't convince herself to ignore the way Arthur dealt with criminals.

!!!

Suddenly, Gwen, who was talking, let out a gasp! She felt her body float uncontrollably, finally landing in Arthur's arms.

The two rolled around on the soft mattress, with Arthurpinning Gwen down. He carefully used his hand to brush the blonde hair from her face.

Gwen, startled, pushed against Arthur's chest with her hands.

"We are having a very serious and earnest discussion about this right now!" Gwen protested indignantly.

"It doesn't interfere. Why do I feel the atmosphere is a bit heavy?" Arthur grabbed Gwen's hands, interlacing their fingers, and pressed them onto the sheets. "Are you calling me to account? Because of a bunch of damned criminals?"

"Criminals are still human; they shouldn't be treated inhumanely!" Gwen didn't resist Arthur, otherwise, with Spider-Woman's strength, she could easily flip the Demon over. "Besides, the crimes committed by Jackal and Rhinoweren't fatal. They didn't even harm innocent students!"

"Are you saying I can only execute them after they've killed many people, or even harmed you?" Arthur lightly stroked Gwen's cheek. "You are truly naive, my Gwen... You are too idealistic. Showing mercy to evil only breeds greater evil, and ultimately, you will be the one who bears the consequences."

"One day you will understand that killing those people completely is the best solution. They don't deserve forgiveness... they don't deserve salvation!" Arthur said deliberately, making Gwen feel like she was listening to the whisper of a Demon.

"This is the first time I've realized my boyfriend is a lunatic. I must take you to see a Doctor tomorrow."

Gwen said with complete seriousness. Her fragrant breath puffed onto Arthur's face, warm and ticklish.

"I've always said I'm not cut out to be a Superhero. If I didn't have a Superhero girlfriend, maybe I would follow in the Demon's footsteps..." Arthur said carelessly.

"Then I will defeat you myself!" Gwen's eyes were firm. "You will receive my forgiveness, and you will find self-salvation through repentance..."

"Every word is unrealistic, Gwen." Arthur smiled and shook his head. "You can't defeat me, and I don't need salvation."

Gwen turned her head to look at the window. The two fell into a brief silence. Gwen also felt the somewhat heavy atmosphere in the room. Neither could convince the other; the rift was not resolved—it had even widened.

Gwen sighed, deciding to skip this topic for now. Her mother, Mrs. Stacy, had once warned her to have enough patience when in a relationship.

When Arthur leaned down, Gwen reached out and covered his mouth. Arthur grabbed Gwen's hand, meeting her gaze, and kissed the back of her hand.

"The school church will hold a service on Christmas Eve. I will pray and repent for you," Gwen said, looking at Arthur. "Afterward, there's the Christmas dance..."

"I know. I hope the dance won't be ruined again that night. Do we need to practice a Christmas song beforehand?"

"I never said I would be your dance partner or dance with you," Gwen whispered.

Arthur hugged Gwen and rolled once more on the bed. "Do I need to invite you again? Or, given the current situation, do you have any other options?"

"Of course, I have plenty of options. I am Gwen Stacy..."

"Don't mention anyone's name, or I can't guarantee they'll survive safely until the dance."

Gwen gave Arthur a glare. "From now on, until the Demon takes off his mask, I will remain suspicious of your identity. Don't get arrested by me!"

In that instant, Arthur pondered a question: If he suddenly pulled out the demon mask and put it on, would Gwencompletely break down?

"Alright, Officer Gwen, can we delve into other matters now?"

"What matters?" Gwen stared straight at Arthur, her eyes mesmerizing.

Arthur said nothing. His hand reached Gwen's back, unbuttoning the clasp... but then he fastened it again.

Gwen looked at him, confused. Was this a new game?

"We're going to be interrupted again tonight. How unlucky," Arthur said, helping Gwen straighten her clothes. "I mean, they are unlucky..."

"What?" The confusion in Gwen's eyes deepened.

Boosted by the Dragon Talisman, Arthur could sense two energy sources rapidly approaching, heading directly toward his home.

Arthur couldn't help but feel puzzled. When he was the Demon, he had never left any weakness exposed, and no one knew this secret yet.

So what reason could two superhumans have for attacking Arthur, an ordinary student?

...A green figure, riding a Bat-Wing Glider, swept across the night sky. Harry Osborn, the Second Generation Green Goblin, was soaring through the darkness for the first time.

Peter, transformed into the Spider-Beastman, followed closely behind him. Peter leaped up, his spider legs bending to grab the crossbar of a streetlamp. The crossbar bent and deformed, and Peter's body sprang out again.

Soon, the two arrived in front of a detached Villa. Peterlooked at the Villa and suddenly felt distracted... A sense of familiarity washed over him, causing him confusion.

"Are you sure this is the place?" Peter stopped Harry, his expression somewhat grim.

"Of course, it's correct. I found the address in the school's database." Harry didn't quite understand Peter's behavior. "Peter, what's wrong?"

Peter shook his head and continued approaching the detached Villa. He jumped over the low fence and the green belt, landing without making a sound.

Harry followed closely, and the Bat-Wing Glider emitted bursts of airflow sounds in the night sky.

Peter reached the wall and used the eight spider legs on his back to climb the exterior wall of the detached Villa. Suddenly, the feeling of familiarity in his heart grew stronger... until Peter rounded the back of the Villa and arrived at a window... A demon mask suddenly flashed in his mind!

The demon mask, hidden in the darkness, appeared even more eerie and terrifying... Peter froze. In that instant, he realized those were the memories of the Spider-Beastman.

Initially, he had injected imperfect Spider Gene Serum and simply optimized Lizard Gene Serum, which turned Peterinto a half-human, half-spider monster. During that period, he was unconscious after transforming into the Spider-Beastman, so it was difficult for him to retain memories.

But as he continuously perfected the serum, the after-effects were gradually eliminated, and the memories retained from the Spider-Beastman period slowly began to return.

For example, after returning to the auditorium that had been ruined during the Graduation Dance, he slowly recalled everything that happened that night: he turned into the Spider-Beastman and attacked Spider-WomanGwen, Gwen saved him from the Demon, the Green Goblinwas blasted to death by the Demon right before his eyes, and finally, the Police lowered him down from the spider silk... Just as Peter was distracted, a figure suddenly flew out from inside the window and delivered a heavy kick to his chest, sending him flying.

Peter rapidly plummeted through the air. His eight spider legs landed first, and the slender legs bent slightly, absorbing all the Impact.

Spider-Woman appeared on the windowsill, looking coldly at Peter, who had crashed to the ground.

Harry pulled out a Pumpkin Bomb and threw it, but the Pumpkin Bomb suddenly turned back in mid-air, moving much faster!

The Pumpkin Bomb exploded as it approached Harry. The resulting Impact instantly flipped him off the Bat-Wing Glider, and he began accelerating downward from a great height.

Peter bent his eight spider legs and pushed off again. His body continuously leaped, gaining altitude, and he caught the falling Harry with his hands in mid-air before landing steadily.

The two looked up. Another figure had appeared beside Gwen—their target for the night, Gwen's boyfriend, Arthur!

Light shone from behind the two of them, stretching their shadows across the lawn.

"Harry? Peter?" Gwen looked at the two figures on the lawn, her voice filled with disbelief.

Gwen almost didn't recognize her former friend, Harry. Harry's face was covered in burn scars, making him look terrifying, like a vengeful spirit crawling out of hell. He was standing on a Bat-Wing Hoverboard, wearing a full set of green Green Goblin Armor, giving Gwen the illusion that the First Generation Green Goblin was standing right before her.

As for Peter, his only change was the eight slender, pointed legs on his back, but Gwen had suffered because of those legs before, and she knew how dangerous they were.

Other than that, Peter looked like a normal human. The last time Gwen saw the Spider-Beastman, he had a hideous, revolting spider head.

"Should I call you Spider-Woman... or Gwen Stacy?" Peterasked first.

Gwen didn't answer. She frowned slightly. Judging by the situation, Peter had regained consciousness? This meant he was doing all this while fully aware—trying to invade Arthur's residence and threaten his safety... Gwen suddenly recalled what the Demon had said that night on the dance floor: "Your mercy will only create a greater villain. When he turns into a deranged criminal, you will only feel regret because you won't have the ability to kill him..."

Gwen felt a pang of regret now. Fortunately, Arthurwasn't an ordinary person, or she would have lost her boyfriend forever tonight... All of this was due to her mercy; it was Gwen who had saved Peter from the Demon.

"Harry, why have you become like this?" Gwen didn't even look at Peter, directing her gaze toward her former friend.

"This is all thanks to you!" Green Goblin Harry showed a terrifying smile. "Spider-Woman, and the Demon... You killed my father. My suffering is all because of you. Fortunately, I have been reborn now."

Arthur watched the two on the lawn without reacting, embracing Gwen's waist from behind.

"Haven't finished catching up yet? When can we start fighting?" Arthur whispered into Gwen's ear. "Don't tell me they deserve understanding too. They are criminals, and they came here tonight to kill me..."

Peter looked at the intimacy between the two figures in the window and felt a surge of anger. Harry said flatly, "So you knew her identity all along..."

The Bat-Wing Glider restarted. Harry jumped onto it, and Peter launched his attack!

The attacks from both were fierce, but Arthur showed no panic. From behind, he brushed Gwen's hair behind her ear, looking at her cold, stunning profile, and smiled silently.

Arthur tapped the windowsill lightly with his other hand. Harry, flying in the air, trembled violently. The next second, his conscious connection with the Bat-Wing Glider was severed!

The Bat-Wing Glider broke in mid-air, and Harry's body flew uncontrollably sideways, colliding with Peter, who had just leaped up.

The two accelerated their fall, rolling across the lawn and only stopping after crashing through the fence.

Peter also found his body floating uncontrollably, finally hovering in mid-air, as if an invisible shackle had confined him!

Suddenly, a tremendous force was applied to the eight spider legs on his back. The spider legs were pulled taut and then brutally ripped out of his body by the immense power. Peter let out a miserable scream that was chilling in the dark night sky.

Gwen slightly turned her head away, seemingly unable to watch.

However, Peter had already been injected with the enhanced Lizard Gene Serum, which was a perfect serum that once again greatly improved his injury recovery ability.

Arthur used Psychokinesis to pull out Peter's eight spider legs, but within a few seconds, those spider legs grew back.

Arthur was somewhat surprised. This powerful regenerative ability could probably be compared to the initial stage of the upgraded Horse Talisman.

He continued to use the Psychokinesis granted by the Rooster Talisman, forcefully pulling out the spider legs on Peter's back!

Amidst Peter's screams, Harry got back up. Just as he was about to pull out a Pumpkin Bomb carried on his armor, the ground beside him suddenly shook. Harry looked down.

The manhole cover next to him vibrated even more violently, and suddenly the cover shot out at high speed, striking him on the head!

Chapter 105: The Noble Horse

In the night, a series of wails like those of a vengeful ghost echoed out, making even Gwen feel a palpitation of the heart upon hearing them.

Under Arthur's control, the Spider-Beastman Peter was enduring cruel torture!

Those spider legs pulled from his body were exceptionally sharp. Arthur controlled these spider legs, piercing Peter's body inch by inch until they ran right through.

Peter's powerful healing ability was repairing these injuries, and the intense pain made Peter's consciousness even clearer. Suddenly, scenes flashed through his mind...

A man wearing pajamas, a terrifying demon mask, a dragon totem lighting up in the night...

Peter clearly recalled the memories left behind by the Spider-Beastman. One night, he had chased Spider-Woman to this detached Villa. When he climbed to the window of the Villa, the demon had used a powerful Fire attack to blast him away for dozens of meters.

"Arthur is the demon?"

Once this terrifying thought appeared in Peter's mind, it couldn't stop spreading. Suddenly, many things became reasonable! The demon who suddenly appeared at the dance, the Jackal and Rhino who were brutally killed on campus...

So, the supposedly righteous Spider-Woman was actually colluding with the demon in secret!

Pierced through the body by another spider leg, the grimacing Peter looked up toward the window, his eyes full of anger and hatred.

Arthur was slightly taken aback:

[Detected 'Evil Villain · Spider-Beastman', 'Horse Talisman' has been unsealed, can be upgraded using villain points.]

[Try to make the Spider-Beastman generate negative emotions; more surprises await your exploration!]

Arthur didn't expect that a Spider-Beastman created because his appearance changed the plot could actually unseal a Talisman.

[Horse Talisman Lv1, power of healing and repair, can heal injuries and diseases of living targets, repair damage to non-living objects, and make them as good as new.]

[Horse Talisman Lv1, upgrading to Lv2 requires 200,000 villain points, enhances your healing and repair abilities, increases the speed of healing and repair.]

The power of the Horse Talisman can be enhanced through system upgrades. After upgrading, the Horse Talisman's healing and repair abilities will continuously improve, and the time required for the entire process will continuously decrease.

Furthermore, after the Horse Talisman is upgraded to a certain level, it can also bring the following functions:

Lv7: Power of Purification, the noble horse can dispel all external forces within the body, removing all restriction effects and debuff effects.

Lv11: Healing and repair abilities are maximized, capable of instantly healing all degrees of injuries and diseases in living targets, and instantly repairing all degrees of damage to non-living targets.

Lv12: You can repair damaged rules and restore the original order, such as restoring the orbital trajectory of celestial bodies, or bringing those who have died back to life...

Now, Arthur possessed a large amount of villain points. As soon as the Horse Talisman was unsealed, he spent 2.45 million villain points to upgrade the Horse Talismanto max level.

The ninth Talisman was unsealed and even maxed out. Now his Talisman status panel also welcomed an update:

villain points quantity: 24.299 million;

Rabbit Talisman Lv11, Dragon Talisman Lv11, Rat Talisman Lv11, Snake Talisman Lv11, Tiger Talisman Lv11, Rooster Talisman Lv11, Dog Talisman Lv11, Pig TalismanLv11, Horse Talisman Lv11, status cannot be upgraded.

Currently, the unsealed Talismans are the Ox Talisman, Sheep Talisman, and Monkey Talisman. Now Arthur has enough villain points; once he meets the corresponding Superhero to unseal the Talismans, he can upgrade the Talismans to Lv11. According to the progress, very soon all twelve Talismans can be unsealed and upgraded to Lv11!

The system description indicates that when all twelve Talismans are upgraded to Lv11, the Talismans will all advance to Lv12. At that time, Arthur will possess all the power of the Talismans without any restrictions. It will absolutely be a qualitative improvement, and his combat power will also skyrocket!

Arthur was already looking forward to it. At this moment, looking at the somewhat terrifying Spider-Beastman Peter, he even found him much more pleasing to the eye.

Arthur tapped the windowsill, and the unbearable torture finally ended. Peter crashed heavily onto the ground, and Harry, who was on the side, quickly dragged him up and fled in the opposite direction.

"Gwen?" Arthur asked softly with a smile. Gwen knew that what she said next could pronounce the life or death of both Harry and Peter.

Gwen's lips moved, but she didn't make a sound. Kind-hearted as she was, she still couldn't bear to kill two of her former friends and classmates. Gwen prepared to jump out of the window to pursue the two, but Arthur reached out and pressed down on her shoulders.

Gwen turned back, somewhat uncomprehending, but Arthur calmly watched the figures of Harry and Peter quickly disappear into the night.

Arthur understood very well the conflicted state of mind Gwen was in at this moment; it was a conflict with the educational values she had received since childhood.

Kindness was a manifestation of Gwen's good qualities and human brilliance, but her saintly heart would also leave behind hidden dangers, bringing her trouble or even suffering in the future.

But Arthur had the ability to handle these hidden dangers, and he didn't care if Gwen was overly kind at this moment, forcing her to face reality and harden her heart to watch the two die. After all, these things could not be changed in a single day.

Moreover, Arthur didn't need a decisive, ruthless executioner girlfriend. By comparison, the kind and hesitant little Spider-Woman Gwen was much cuter; he preferred to personally face those bloody and sinful matters himself...

Of course, an even more important point was that just a moment ago, an email containing an address had entered his system inbox; it was the address of Harry and Peter's secret Base found by Tony.

Arthur didn't care whether he was releasing a tiger back to the mountain; the combination of Green Goblin and Spider-Beastman couldn't even be called a tiger in his eyes, at most they were a little kitten. He just liked to solve all troubles at once.

Arthur leaned over to Gwen's ear and whispered: "This time they chose to strike at me, then next time they will attack your family... Gwen, kindness can only be applied to similarly kind people."

A roar of a car engine came from the night. Arthur looked up and saw a Police car; he guessed that a neighbor had called the Police after hearing the commotion at his house.

"I'll go deal with the Police first," Arthur said, pointing at the approaching Police car.

"Do you need me to call my dad?" Gwen said, coming back to her senses.

"No need, I can handle it." Arthur went downstairs without looking back.

Gwen hid behind the curtains. She was still wearing that spider suit. She listened carefully to the commotion downstairs; Arthur's superpowers couldn't handle Policequestioning.

"Sir, someone reported that they heard some commotion at your house, it seemed like a violent attack..."

The strange male voice stopped abruptly, and Arthur's voice rang out: "Nothing happened, go back."

Gwen was shocked by Arthur's way of answering. Just when she thought a conflict was about to break out below, the Police officer's voice rang out again: "Alright then, have a good night, sir."

A moment later, the sound of a car engine starting up rang out from downstairs. Gwen poked her head out, and the Police car slowly drove away.

Arthur turned around; at this moment, the phantom of the Sheep in his eyes had already dissipated.

"Another unknown power?" Gwen said, lying on the windowsill.
