My thoughts were seen through.
Arlo Yarbrough felt a bit embarrassed.
Yet he was still defiant.
He said, "Nonsense, am I that kind of person? I'm just upset, that's all."
"Then I have no money."
Dirk Carter leaned back on the sofa, teasingly said.
Arlo Yarbrough became anxious and said, "It's okay if you have no money, there are lots of good cigarettes in your drawer, taking two packs wouldn't be excessive, right?"
"You don't smoke, why do you want cigarettes?"
"Who said I don't smoke, just tell me if you'll give them to me."
Arlo Yarbrough asked.
Dirk Carter chuckled and said, "Alright, alright, take them if you like, don't be angry, I'm doing this for the bigger picture."
Grinning with happiness, Arlo Yarbrough took two packs of cigarettes and left.
Dirk Carter sighed deeply and just prepared to take a good rest.
The door was pushed open again.
It was Arlo Yarbrough again.
"What's up? Not enough?"
Dirk Carter asked.
