Demons, what are they or who are they to say the slightest?
Well demons weren't all that different from humans. You could say they were both cut from the same cloth.
While one side was expensive, beautiful shrouded in mystery and also deadly, the other side was nice as well, but not equally fascinating.
(So much for being from the same cloth).
Anyway their personalities were all the same, there were those good ones who blended in the society and lived amongst humans quietly and peacefully, while there were those who thought the act of peace was a joke itself.
One thing demons had a lot was pride. They had pride for days just like cats. They did have the power, so it was quite natural.
(But there were those weak ones...every society does have weak people).
There were those weak ones who could go in and out of the human world, while there were those who couldn't pass through without a vessels.
That's why if asked what demons really needed from humans,
Blood? No they weren't all vampires, Flesh? Nah, they weren't all werewolves. Those two were just subclasses of demons. Even though they believed they were on their own, they were just demons at the end of the day.
What demons really needed from humans were to be their vessels, since not all of them were let into the human world they depended on vessels for that.
Now what was the public general view on them. Since demons usually blend in and are shrouded in mystery only a few know about them. There were people who knew about them and was curious or fascinated about them wanting to gain more knowledge on them , there were those who knew that demons existed and might have even seen a few but couldn't care less, there were also those who didn't know about them but wanted to believing that demons do exist and wanted to see them, while there were those who didn't know and didn't care to know.
Those were the major four views on demons in the human world.
Human world?, does that mean they had their own world?
Well people believe that they were from hell or the underworld.
Since there were so many theories on how they even came to be.
The most popular was the tale about a man who sold his soul to the devil in exchange for power, but it's not everyday you see the devil outside hunting for souls so other theories naturally formed.
None had been proven accurate or true, but it's not like any of that was important to Alouis as he sat on the floor clenching his chest in pain.
*I can't even see his face properly, everything is so blurry *. Alouis thought as he stared up.
*My head is aching me, what's happen.....
"Miss me much?".
"Huh?". That voice, that presence.
It didn't take Alouis long to figure out.
"You...!". Alouis closed his mouth quickly and stood up.
"I'm fine". He said to the guy standing in front of him.
He hurried out after washing his face.
"Now that was.. weird". The guy stared at the blood on the floor.
"Hey guys, sorry if I wasted time".
"What you talking about?, you weren't gone for long". Sally said.
"Oh I wasn't?,... Where's my phone".
"It's just been five minutes but you're phone was bustling with notifications, so I switched it off, sorry". Sally replied.
"Don't worry about it". Alouis took his phone from her.
"You sure about that?". She asked.
"Yeah". Alouis nodded.
"That's.... Wait hold up!, guys check him out!".
"Sally, you're shouting, this isn't a private....
"Just look at him for a second, his hair's all disheveled, his clothes are disarranged, he smells like blood and looks like sh*t". Sally interrupted Everling.
Everyone turned to stare at Alouis.
"That's... actually true". Taylia muttered.
"Hey, anything's wrong, buddy?". Lucian asked.
"No, I'm fine ". Alouis shook his head.
"I'll be in my room ".
"You aren't watching the rest of the show?". Sally asked.
"No sorry, I'll make it up to you some other time ". With that, he rushed out of the cinema.
"You guys think he's alright?". Vincent asked.
"Of course not!, but what can we do". Everling sighed.
"He's very secretive and super hard to coax". Sally added.
" So if he doesn't come out and say it, it's nearly impossible for us to know". Lucian chipped in.
"But I'm sure he'll tell us, we don't hide that many secrets from each other". Taylia said.
"You guys seem to trust each other very much ". Lucy said.
"Of course we're a team!". Sally smiled.
But turned back to stare at the door
"You will tell us... right?". And muttered.
At the front row seat to the left, quite far away, someone else was busy watching.
"What are you looking at?".
"Eeek!, don't lean on me or whisper in my ear like that, it's freaking gross!".
"Sorry ". He apologized and asked
"So whatcha looking at?".
"Two weird things happened to me just now".
"Two?".
"Yeah, the first thing my match got cancelled ".
"Huh?".
"My opponent went offline ".
"Oh". He nodded
"Secondly, I saw some crazy shit when I went to wash my hands".
"A guy was busy bleeding from the nose, but it didn't seem like an ordinary nosebleed, before I got the chance to speak with him, he ran off".
"So I followed him out, and saw him speaking with some people sitting close to the back of the middle row".
"And they were seven of them".
"That's weird, did you check them out?".
*I'm sure he's just going to brush it off as nothing but some friends going on a vacation, but it still would have been nice if he had ------*.
"Of course I did, and I figured out all eight of them came together, I checked everything I could on them, but there was nothing suspicious, from the moment they entered the ship up till now, there's been nothing on their record, like they just came on a trip, but I'll try my best to get my hands on their personal informa....
"What's wrong with you?".
"Nothing, nothing at all!, I'm just so stunned that you did all that under five minutes, you really are amazing!".
"I'm so glad!, you're so serious when needed!".
"Aren't I always like this?".
"Of course not!, you're a total pain normally ".
"That was so harsh".
"I'll tell Jane that you're bullying me". He said playfully.
"Why?, when you know she's going to support me".
"That's so smug of you.... Where's she anyway?".
"She's probably still at the CCTV ro...
"I'll like to know where that guy went, so I'll go meet her". He stood up and left.
"Hey, don't leave me here!". He followed suit.
