Chapter 138 - 138. Half-Ogre

Who was the financial backer who hired the bandits?

The underboss remained unaware.

The bandits' base was in a nearby valley.

Blanca, the bandit leader, was awaiting news of victory.

A night raid offered a chance to capture Blanca and interrogate the financial backer's identity.

After the interrogation, Alan and Kelly returned to the carriage.

Using a "disguise technique," Arthur's body, including clothing, was disguised to resemble Anna's.

Carrie, impersonating Arthur, carried "Anna's" body to the campfire.

In front of the guards, she mournfully announced two things:

First, her sister, Anna, had tragically been shot and killed...

Second, she vowed to wipe out the bandits and avenge her sister!

Everyone had a quick meal and a short rest before continuing their march through the night.

Kelly and Alan led their guards on a thirty-mile overnight ride, illuminated by the full moon, to raid the thieves' den!

The moonlight is so beautiful, tonight we must avenge our bloody debt!

In the valley, a two-story wooden building stood in the center of a walled camp.

Outside the wall, shouts of killing approached.

The thieves guarding the camp were decimated, some dead and some fleeing.

Blanca, the leader of the bandits, hid in the wooden building, trembling with anxiety.

He had just received news of the failed assassination attempt, and before he could escape, the real culprit had chased him and trapped him in the valley, leaving him with nowhere to escape.

What was he going to do?!

"Quick! Go get Punk!"

Forced to do nothing, Blanca had no choice but to confront the monster.

At his urging, his attendant hurried out.

Soon, heavy footsteps were heard outside.

Crack!

The first-floor door was forcibly ripped off.

The nearly three-meter-tall female ogre with twin ponytails glanced at the wooden door in her hands and tossed it aside nonchalantly.

"Yo! Blanca!"

"Your door's broken! Aren't you going to fix it?"

The female ogre shouted heartlessly.

"I can't worry about that right now!" Blanca's face was filled with anxiety. "Punch! Hurry up and grab your club! Help me deal with the enemy!"

"What enemy?" Punch asked nonchalantly.

"Didn't Dick tell you?"

"Dick...your wretched follower?" Puffy burped. "I ate him before he could even say anything."

"You..." Blanca's scalp tingled, and she stumbled back.

"Puffy, I was so hungry I accidentally ate him." The female ogre shrugged and spread her hands, a little embarrassed.

"Forget it, forget it! For now!" Blanca gritted her teeth. "Puffy! Help me deal with the enemy, and I'll treat you to a feast, how about that?"

There were plenty of dead bodies outside the camp anyway, more than enough corpses to fill the female ogre's belly.

"Puffy, I just ate Dick, so I'm not too hungry yet."

For a "half-ogre" with some human blood, Puffy was quite clever and even good at bargaining.

"Blanca, Ponyo doesn't want food this time. After you drive the enemy away, you have to find her a boyfriend!"

"Boyfriend...?" Blanca was stunned.

"Ponyo is already grown up. She wants a man, isn't that okay?" the female ogre asked sullenly.

Ogres mature more precociously than humans.

Nine-year-old Ponyo, rounding up, was still a beautiful girl with ponytails.

Just a little "bigger"...

Ponyo felt her standards for a partner weren't high.

First, he had to be handsome, and taller and stronger than her.

Unfortunately, within Blanca's limited network, there wasn't a man who met both of these criteria.

At this critical juncture, Blanca couldn't afford to worry too much and could only agree for the time being, convincing the female ogre to make a move.

As for how to fulfill that promise later... we'll talk about it later!

Pinny's cunning wasn't as sharp as the bandit leader's, after all.

Seeing the other party's promise, she rushed out with her club.

At this moment, the baron's guards had already breached the bandit camp, and several fully armed knights appeared outside.

Pinny roared and rushed forward, club in hand.

Clank, clang! A thrashing!

In a flash, she had all four knights lying on the ground.

Alan heard the fighting and looked over.

From a distance, he saw a nearly three-meter-tall female ogre, club in hand, wreaking havoc.

The baron's guards couldn't withstand a single blow from her.

"Have your men retreat first," Alan whispered to his sister. "I'll go deal with that little cutie."

"Little, little cutie...?!"

Kelly couldn't help but feel goosebumps at her brother's strange nickname for the female ogre.

"Isn't it too risky to challenge an ogre alone?"

Kelly asked worriedly.

Alan couldn't help but laugh.

It seemed his sister didn't fully understand his strength.

"There's no danger."

Alan grabbed a large piece of clay, kneaded it into dough, and applied a "seasoning" to it, giving it a honey flavor.

"If all goes well, maybe we can turn our enemies into friends."

He handed the clay, which exuded the aroma of honey, to his sister.

"Huh? This..." Kelly held the clay, bewildered.

Alan freed his hands and began to undress.

Kelly's cheeks flushed as she watched her brother's shirtless torso, revealing his muscular build.

Suddenly, she remembered that she was now a man too... and it felt even stranger.

Alan, shirtless, activated his atavistic form.

His nearly two-meter-tall frame suddenly doubled in size!

He transformed into a four-meter-tall, nearly a ton-weight ogre!

His baggy trousers burst from the sudden expansion of his thick legs.

The remaining fabric, like a narrow pair of swimming trunks, barely covered the enlarged Alan's bulging lower body.

The gate to the bandit camp was too low and too narrow for a four-meter-tall giant.

Alan refused to yield, so he walked straight towards the wall.

He thrust his hands, imbued with explosive palm power, with a casual push.

There was a loud boom.

The entire courtyard wall collapsed inward!

A faint wail echoed from beneath the crumbling stone wall.

The thieves, wielding crossbows, who had attempted a sneak attack from beneath the wall, were all buried alive in the rubble!

Alan turned and extended his palm, as large as a palm fan, toward Kelly.

"Sister... Respected Lord, you may return my honey bread now."

What?

Honey bread?

Kelly froze for a few seconds before finally coming to her senses.

She scooped up the large ball of honey-smelling clay and handed it to her brother.

Alan, holding the "honey bread" in one hand, stepped over the ruins of the stone wall and entered the courtyard.

The screams stopped abruptly beneath his feet.

Whoosh!

A poisoned arrow suddenly flew out of the second-floor window of the large house in the courtyard.

The arrow struck Alan's bare chest, ricocheting with a clang.

The arrowhead broke off on the spot.

Alan's chest remained unscathed.

Hiss...

Inside the second-floor room, Blanca gasped!

His hand holding the crossbow trembled uncontrollably.

Suddenly, he remembered his lifeline.

He quickly leaned out the window and yelled at the female ogre.

"Punch! Go kill that giant!"

Punch ignored him.

She stared at Alan, her chubby face flushed crimson.

Her eyes were filled with twinkling little stars!
