Mr. Crow looked at Lana in shock. "You are his granddaughter?"
Lana rolled her eyes. "What nonsense are you talking about?"
With that, she retorted at Mr Crow, "That granddaughter is far more beautiful than I am. Even though I could not see her face clearly, it was obvious that she was not me."
Mr Crow nodded solemnly.
"Thank God. I almost thought that you were some kind of big shot."
Lana laughed, and the two of them continued walking away from the courtyard.
Meanwhile, the old man known as Grandpa Chen quietly lifted the pot containing the various dishes Lana had prepared.
A faint smile appeared on his weathered face as the warmth of the food drifted toward him.
His gaze slowly moved toward the refrigerator, where a sticky note had been placed with all the dishes he liked written on it.
Other than his granddaughter, no one could understand what dishes he wanted to eat simply by looking at that note.
