"You can still live beautifully together."
Her voice carried warmth that slowly soothed Layla's chaotic emotions.
"You can still create beautiful memories before life pulls both of you apart."
After hearing those words, Layla slowly wiped the tears from her cheeks before quietly nodding.
Her emotions finally seemed slightly calmer.
Lana leaned back slightly before suddenly smiling playfully.
"Anyways, if you ever need help in the future, just let me know."
Layla blinked in confusion.
"I can even help you chase your girlfriend if necessary."
Hearing that, Layla could not help laughing softly through her tears.
Then she looked toward Lana seriously. "You're genuinely a very good person."
Lana raised an eyebrow.
"After Betty," Layla continued quietly, "if there's anyone else who has truly looked after me this much… then it's definitely you."
