Chapter 50 - THE WOLF'S TORMENT

The moonlight spilled into the room, illuminating Isabella's trembling form. Her white fur glistened even in the dim light as she struggled against the pain, her wolf form writhing beneath Theodore's merciless jaws. Every movement brought a fresh sting, a cruel reminder of the boundaries she had crossed.Meanwhile Alpha had ordered Amelia and Oliver to go back to their house .

Theodore, towering in his wolf form, grey fur gleaming and golden eyes burning with unrelenting fury, observed her with a chilling calm. He circled her like a predator savoring the hunt.

"You thought," he rumbled, voice like grinding steel, "that you could rise above my people? That your power, your little defiance, could overshadow them?" His teeth glinted in the moonlight as he sank them briefly into her leg, marking her. Isabella yelped in pain, the sound echoing like fire through the silent night.

"Ow… ow… it hurts… please, enough…" she cried in wolf form, her voice laced with anguish and desperation.

Theodore's lips curled into a sinister smile. "Enough? My dear, this is just a taste. A lesson. Did you think I would let insolence go unpunished?" He leaned closer, nostrils flaring as the scent of her fear filled him with a dark satisfaction.

"You are nothing to me," he whispered, each word a knife of control. "My people come first, always. Amelia, Oliver—they obey, they respect, they survive. You… you forget your place if you think yourself above them."

With a swift, brutal motion, he released her. Isabella collapsed, panting, fur matted with blood, trembling from the sting of both pain and humiliation. Theodore's eyes never left her, golden orbs gleaming with a cold possessiveness.

In a moment that was both gentle and terrifying, he transformed back into his human form. Towering over her, he scooped Isabella into his arms in a bridal hold, ignoring her struggles. His gaze pierced hers as he carried her to the bed.

"If you behaved," he murmured, voice smooth yet deadly, "I wouldn't have done this. But do not imagine forgiveness is yours to claim. Never again think yourself above my people. Remember your place. Obedience, my dear… obedience comes before all."

Even as Isabella's wolf form dissipated, leaving her shivering and human once more, the echo of his warning lingered like a dark promise.
