Ash looked at froakie and said no matter how much I tease her she did give some leeway in buying her bicycle.

But suddenly he stopped I am forgetting something that I had to do after I reached the pokemon center.
Suddenly something flashed in his mind and rushed up the stairs at the pokemon center with a almost terrified look on his face.
Misty and nurse joy who were chatting about something glanced at the sudden noise but just noticed ash climbing the stairs.
"What's up with him" Nurse joy asked.
"I do not know " Misty said.
Upstairs
Ash was climbing the stairs like a madman froakie was just barely stable on his shoulder.
Oh no team rocket are about entre the pokemon centre from the celling in the original kogging's gas and pikachu's thundershock got in in contact resulting in a explosion which destroyed the whole pokemon center ash, misty and nurse joy somehow survived because they had something that people in real life do not have which is plot armour though I do not have pikachu this time but the pokemon center does many pikachu actually for the pika power which is used to treat the pokemon if the light is out I only remembered this because in my previous life saw some debate on episode 2 which is what going on I mean if a normal pokemon cannot survive a point blank explosion then how could ash, misty and nurse joy could?
After they reached the rooftop ash began to scan the sky for a hot air balloon and also found it preety quick
"They are not gonna know what hit them" Ash said
Froakie begin charging water pulse and aim it at the ballon in the sky ash ordered.
Froakie while speaking fro fro began charging a water pulse.
"Take as much time as you need they are distracted"
"Make it normal sized we just need to make it reach the ballon condense the energy even a tiny hole in the ballon will make them fly away"
Froakie made a normal sized water pulse but it was more blue than normal "nice now aim it at the ballon ash ordered"
Froakie aimed it at the ballon and with a shout from ash "fire"
Froakie launched the water pulse in the sky but to the surprise of ash the energy in the water pulse was so much that it had a strek of water type energy behind it.
Team rocket who had just heard a sound from below of someone shouting something quickly looked at the direction of the sound but noticed a water pulse coming towards them they paniced and tried to release their pokemon to block the water pulse but were to slow.
The water pulse hit the ballon and with a loud sound the hot air ballon whized by but they were only able to notice one thing of their attacker that he or she wore a red cap even while flying in the air they immediately thought to take revenge with an red cape wearing trainer they found.
Ash who was about to congratulate froakie on doing such a good job noticed froakie kneeling on the ground while panting ash picked up froakie and thought no way that condensed version of water pulse was even more exhaustive then the huge water pulse well it is also my fault I bet froakie just learned water pulse a few days and I am hear making him advanced versions no super advanced versions of it I feel terrible as a trainer in the game you barely feel anything for your pokemon because inside you know they are not real the pokemon in the game do not have real emotions but these pokemon do these creatures have a life
Froakie who was currently in ash's arms felt the sadness of his trainer and with a smile cuddled in ash's chest

The next day
Ash woke up at 8 am and got freshed up and put on the same style of clothes he had woren in season 1 in the original "I need to change this soon at least even if this is comfortable atleast something of a different style"
Deciding to address to his fashion sense later ash went to the cafeteria and ordered some food for himself and froakie and their also found misty already having meal alongside her pokemon there was staryu, starmie and a goldeen in a water tank eating food
"Good morning" ash said as he got his and froakie's food and and sat across misty.
"Good morning " Misty said after chewing a bite of her food
"Let me introduce you to my pokemon" misty said after chewing of another bite

After some time of eating in silence ash asked misty "so where are going to now"
"Pewter city you" Misty questioned
"Same" ash replied
"Let's go together" misty nearly shouted and stood up.
Ash was confused he was about to invite her but she invited him before he could even ask ash wanted misty to travel with him because he wanted to more about water pokemon or rather froakie he wanted to discover new tactics with froakie which could use help from misty a water type specialist.
