Chapter 347 - Toneri Disappears

Chapter 347 – Toneri Disappears

Yusuke raised Enma high above his head. Suddenly, the ground cracked once more, and dazzling white light began to surge from deep within the earth.

Seeing that, Madara immediately looked downward. His gaze pierced through layer after layer of soil, and when he saw what lay beneath, even he was stunned.

Because beneath the surface, Yusuke's slashes had not vanished. At this moment, every single slash seemed alive, moving and gathering, all converging toward Enma in Yusuke's hand.

Kakashi was shocked once again. As he watched the scene unfold, it felt as though he suddenly realized something.

Yusuke, however, didn't notice Kakashi's reaction. His face remained cold as he spoke calmly.

"Whether it's kenjutsu or taijutsu, in the end, they're all just techniques meant for killing."

"And as long as something is a technique, it will always be limited by something. Take swordsmanship for example—the power of a slash is limited by the one who swings the sword, and also by the sword itself," Yusuke said in a flat tone.

At this moment, the blade of his sword had already turned halfway white, standing out starkly against the surroundings.

"I get it!" Kakashi suddenly exclaimed.

Everyone looked at him in confusion. Kakashi scratched the back of his head awkwardly before continuing,

"A swordsman doesn't just need a strong body—they also need a deep understanding of the path of the sword. But when they unleash a slash, they can't fully release the entirety of their body's strength and their perception."

"Because no matter how powerful someone is, they still can't draw out the absolute limit of a single sword. But when thousands of slashes merge into one… that becomes that person's strongest slash," Kakashi said.

"In other words, this is also Enma's final slash," Sakumo said at that moment.

"Enma, thank you for staying with me throughout this journey," Yusuke murmured softly.

Enma trembled slightly, as if responding. It was declaring its willingness to fight alongside Yusuke—even if this would be its final bloom.

As Yusuke grew stronger, he had used Enma less and less, because he simply no longer needed it. But at this moment, he chose to release Enma completely.

"This technique is called… Enma," Yusuke said coldly.

As all the slashes merged together, Yusuke slowly swung his sword forward.

A blinding white light exploded outward.

Everything around them seemed to be pulled toward that slash.

Seeing this, Madara's gaze narrowed. The power of his eyes surged violently. Chakra throughout his entire body began to boil before rushing into the black staff in his hand. In an instant, the staff turned a blazing red.

"Sukunahikona."

The black staff in his hand suddenly expanded. Then Madara once again channeled the power of his eyes, and the enlarged staff thrust forward toward Yusuke.

The two attacks collided.

Yusuke's sword light met the black staff, and like a blade slicing through tofu, it slowly split the staff cleanly in two.

"I've lost," Madara said, staring at the deep trench split open beneath his feet.

Yusuke also looked down at the sword in his hand. Enma turned into dust, disappearing bit by bit from his palm.

"Ah… still can't, huh…" A trace of helplessness flickered in Yusuke's eyes.

Just now, he had tried to use the power of time to restore Enma. But the power that had been unleashed had already surpassed time itself. Even for him, repairing Enma was extremely difficult.

At that moment, Madara had already returned to his normal form. He began forming hand seals.

The Tailed Beasts appeared in another space. The power within Madara's body instantly declined. The chakra from the other Ten-Tails inside him had also been severely drained from using Heavy Particle Mode. However, that power could still be restored through cultivation.

"I want to know… how much power did you use this time?" Madara asked as he looked at Yusuke.

"If I had to say… around fifty percent. Maybe sixty," Yusuke said while rubbing his chin.

"As I thought. You really are a monster," Madara said, shaking his head. After that, he disappeared into space.

Yusuke didn't remain any longer either, because this place was about to collapse. That last slash had shattered this space down to the nuclear level.

When Yusuke stepped out, everyone looked at him as if they were staring at a monster. Only Ryoha looked at him with pure admiration.

"What's wrong?" Yusuke asked, puzzled.

"Monster," everyone answered in unison.

"Ha ha ha, there's nothing I can do about that. Didn't I tell you I'm the strongest? I'm a man who can do anything—except lie," Yusuke said, completely unconcerned by their sharp looks.

"Alright, stop showing off," Tsunade said with a helpless expression.

"There's something I need to tell you," Tsunade continued, her tone turning serious.

"What is it?" Yusuke asked.

"It seems Toneri ran into something. Just now, his parents sent me a message. They said Toneri sensed a terrifying chakra, then left to find its source. After that… he never came back. He's been missing for three days," Tsunade said.

"What? What kind of parents are they? Bastards! Why didn't they say anything earlier?!" Yusuke shouted.

"Calm down. At the time, his parents thought that with Toneri's strength, he should've been able to handle it," Tsunade said, trying to soothe him.

She knew this disciple was extremely important to Yusuke. The reason he was so restless now was because he could sense that some things had already slipped out of his control.

Yusuke said nothing. The power within his eyes erupted instantly.

"Susanoo-no-Mikoto."

Images of Toneri flashed through his mind. It seemed the battle between Madara and Isshiki had attracted the attention of the Ōtsutsuki clan. Urashiki had suddenly appeared and ultimately captured Toneri.

"But why? With Urashiki's strength, he shouldn't have been a match for Toneri, who's already at the Six Paths level," Yusuke muttered.

"Damn it, I'm such an idiot. The Urashiki I killed… was Urashiki who came from another timeline. He himself wasn't part of this space, so his strength must've been heavily suppressed," Yusuke said with an annoyed expression.

He knew that Urashiki, who possessed two pairs of Rinnegan, could even use Amenominaka. How could someone like that only be at Kage level?

Yusuke controlled the power of time. He knew that when someone crossed through time and space, their strength would be suppressed by the will of heaven. Otherwise, the order of the world would have long since collapsed.

"Damn it… just you wait, brat. As soon as I have the time, I'll head straight to the Ōtsutsuki clan and wipe every last one of you out," Yusuke said coldly.

"So Toneri is fine… for now, right?" Tsunade asked.

"For the moment, he's safe. Kaguya, can you lock onto their position? Or at least tell me the location of the Ōtsutsuki clan's planet," Yusuke said as he looked at Kaguya.

"I can't track it either. Normally, anything related to the main clan goes through Isshiki," Kaguya said.

"Damn it, they really hid their strength well," Yusuke growled.

"Tell me where the Ōtsutsuki planet is. I'll go and destroy it," Yusuke said coldly.

"This…"

"Do you not trust me?" Yusuke asked in a cold tone.

"No, I… I trust you. What I mean is, I'll go with you," Kaguya said.

"Oh?" Yusuke looked at Kaguya in surprise.

Kaguya's face turned red, but she still explained,

"The Ōtsutsuki clan's planet doesn't have fixed coordinates."

"Only members of the Ōtsutsuki clan can sense its true direction. But with my current strength, I can't sense it. We need the power of the Ten-Tails," Kaguya said.

"It's fine. Let's go find Madara."
