Chapter 113 - Chapter 113

My name's Dracule Mihawk!

Mihawk didn't feel insulted by Redfield's forceful inquiry. Instead, being recognized by such a strong opponent was a happy thing. He pursued the ultimate of kendo and didn't care about the opinions of the outside world.

"Very well, Hawkeye. Let's use our final blow to decide the outcome." Redfield nodded slightly, clearly acknowledging the man opposite him as the world's number one swordsman.

Boom!

The blood-red [Sword Intent] erupted suddenly, forming a turbulent pool of blood in the sky, visible to the naked eye. Hawkeye's body radiated a sword energy like a sharp blade, and a cyan stream of light surged around him. Finally, with a swing of his black blade, [Yoru], a giant blue sword attacked Redfield.

"So pure, [Sword Intent]!" Seeing this, Redfield sighed slightly. Although his achievements in swordsmanship surpassed Hawkeye's, he had been honing his skills for over seventy years. Hawkeye, on the other hand, was only about forty years old. The ability to possess such a pure and profound intent at his age was not what Redfield had expected.

In the next second, their figures collided.

Boom!

The entire sea exploded and boiled instantly, and huge waves blotted out the sun. The violent shockwave and airwaves raged, causing even the thick ice to tremble and threaten to break apart at any time. Aokiji had to reinforce the ice with another blast.

The red pool of blood and the blue sword collapsed after a fierce collision in mid-air. Everyone turned their eyes to the misty area, waiting for the final result. Who won?

Only Adrian, watching from the coast, smiled with satisfaction. His deep gaze looked at the distant sky. Kaido was truly insidious. He was already there but hadn't revealed himself at all. If it weren't for his [Heart Network], he wouldn't have been able to find him.

On the ice, the battle was over. Two figures gradually appeared.

"Did Hawkeye win?"

"Who is the most powerful swordsman in the world?"

Everyone waited for the result with curiosity. This battle had overturned their perception of swordsmen, giving them a great shock. They had never thought a battle between great swordsmen could be so terrifying. They were most concerned about whether Hawkeye would be able to keep his title as the world's number one swordsman. If he successfully killed Aloof Red, the morale of the coalition forces would undoubtedly greatly improve.

But no one dared to jump to conclusions. The strength Redfield had shown was enough to make even Hawkeye tired of coping. The old man was an existence beyond the reach of ordinary swordsmen.

When the fog on the sea completely dissipated, Hawkeye's figure was revealed, his black blade pointed directly at Redfield. The umbrella in Redfield's hand was cut in half, but its tip remained lodged in Hawkeye's right shoulder, from which blood slowly flowed.

"I lost," Hawkeye said calmly, putting away his black blade, [Yoru].

Although it appeared to be a draw, his body felt hollowed out, and his sword-wielding hand ached. Redfield was slightly better than him in strength, speed, and skill. There was no doubt that he had lost.

But Hawkeye didn't feel discouraged. Instead, he felt calm and excited. Being defeated was nothing to be ashamed of; it simply renewed his motivation to become stronger. The title of the world's number one swordsman wasn't that important to him. What if he gave it up?

"Hawkeye, you're very strong. Are you interested in joining our captain?" Redfield no longer had the will to fight. The man opposite him was too valuable to pass up. It would be a pity if such a talent didn't join their camp.

However, Hawkeye shook his head resolutely. "I'm sorry, I always like to be alone. Besides, that man and my best friend are enemies."

"Hahaha, you don't need to give an answer in such a hurry. His Excellency Adrian's heart is extremely broad." Redfield said something meaningful, then turned and left.

Hawkeye didn't stay long either. After looking at Adrian on the coast, he jumped back to his boat and left without looking back.

"Hey, Hawkeye, come back, you bastard, the battle is not over yet!"

"Are you trying to disobey the orders of the World Government?"

"What kind of shit is the number one swordsman in the world who can't even beat an old man?"

"Bastard, all pirates are really unreliable."

There was a sound of cursing from the government coalition forces. Even Akainu's face became serious. Even if the coalition forces still maintained an absolute advantage in numbers, Adrian's crew was as strong. Even if he made a move now, he couldn't turn the tide of the battle.

Looking at the government coalition forces surrounded by casualties, Akainu snorted disdainfully. Five Elders, you're so old-fashioned. For that waste, Doflamingo, so many troops were wasted in vain. But it wasn't the Marines who died, so Akainu didn't feel bad at all.

"Hawkeye is really irresponsible. The current situation seems to be getting worse for us." Kizaru threw Bullet and turned into a stream of light, appearing beside Akainu. The neat yellow suit on his body was already covered in shoe prints.

"Sakazuki, aren't you going to make a move?"

"I only promised to come over, but I didn't say I would fight. This war is an internal struggle among pirates, and I will not help any of them," Akainu said, with great principle.

"But if you do this, you'll definitely be scolded when you go back," Kizaru reminded with a helpless face. An idiot will always be an idiot. Don't I know this is fighting between pirates? But no matter who you fight for, as long as the World Government gives orders, you might as well put on a show for the Five Elders. Otherwise, how will you go back and do business? What if your wages are deducted? Wouldn't that be a big loss?

"Was Fleet Admiral Sengoku scolded less often in his years?" Akainu retorted with a cold face.

"Uh...it seems to be true." Kizaru was speechless for a moment. Alright, you're awesome, you're the toughest. Just pretend I didn't say anything.

Just as Kizaru was about to return to the battlefield, a dragon's roar echoed in the sky. In the next second, a terrifying heat that seemed to burn everything in the world formed a dazzling beam of light in the sky, shooting straight toward the warship where the two of them were. The strongest sneak attack king actually attacked the Marines first?
