The group quietly hid behind a cluster of broken rocks while carefully watching the cloaked figures moving through the sea of dark miasma.
None of them made a sound. Even their breathing became lighter while they observed every movement ahead. The mysterious people seemed completely unaware of their surroundings as they slowly walked around the corrupted land while carrying strange containers and occasionally stopping to inspect the thick black mist rising from the ground.
Duke Osantra slowly raised one hand, signaling everyone to stop.
The entire group immediately froze.
His sharp eyes remained fixed on one of the cloaked figures walking slightly behind the others.
After carefully observing them for another moment, he spoke in a low voice.
"Let's capture one of them and interrogate him."
The surrounding nobles quietly nodded.
"I agree."
