"What do you mean, Your Highness?" Ethan asked with a slight frown.
He had been quite worried about what might happen next. The four Empires would never come to the battlefield alone. They would surely bring their strongest troops and hidden forces with them. If that happened, the Arcadian army could easily be overwhelmed and crushed under their combined strength.
Haster looked at Ethan for a brief moment before calmly replying.
"My royal father is already making preparations to deal with the four Emperors."
He paused for a moment before continuing.
"In fact, he has been planning for this for a long time."
Those simple words made Ethan's heart become slightly heavier.
He had expected the Emperor to have some preparations, but hearing Haster say it so confidently still surprised him. It seemed the Imperial Family had already anticipated that the war would eventually reach this stage.
Haster noticed the concern on Ethan's face and gently patted his shoulder.
