Inside Konoha's Hokage Office.
Hiruzen Sarutobi sat in his supreme seat, leisurely puffing on his pipe.
Standing before him were several masked ANBU ninja.
"We deeply apologize, Lord Hokage."
"We still haven't uncovered any clues about the mastermind behind this."
"We can't even determine whether Naruto was truly placed under a genjutsu."
"We've never seen a technique like this before."
One ANBU ninja reported honestly to Hiruzen.
Tap, tap, tap.
Hiruzen lightly knocked the pipe in his hand against the desk, unsurprised by the report.
Whoever that mysterious person was, and whatever their goal might be, the fact that they dared target Naruto so openly meant they were clearly confident and prepared.
They were never going to be easy to track down.
As for the strange technique affecting Naruto—
Truthfully, not only the ANBU, but even Hiruzen himself, known throughout the ninja world as "The Professor," had never encountered anything like it before.
At first, Hiruzen and the others believed Naruto had been afflicted with a curse-like technique similar to the Root clan's Tongue Eradication Seal, preventing him from speaking about certain things.
The other possibility was genjutsu.
After all, why else could Naruto see strange words and objects that nobody else could?
But what kind of genjutsu could trap someone continuously for more than twenty days?
That was simply absurd.
And ever since Naruto had been "affected," the ANBU had intensified their surveillance on him.
Every movement Naruto made—what he ate, what he drank, even his sleeping posture—was carefully monitored.
Yet they never once saw any suspicious person approach him, nor anyone casting a technique on him.
So the possibility of repeated genjutsu applications had been ruled out.
That left only one possibility:
Naruto had only been affected once.
But for a single technique to last this long?
It was unbelievable.
Furthermore, after extensive investigation, the ANBU discovered that aside from allowing Naruto to see strange text and invisible objects, the supposed "genjutsu" caused him no harm whatsoever.
Naruto still ate, slept, played pranks, and behaved exactly as usual.
There were no side effects at all.
If this really was genjutsu, then what exactly was the caster trying to accomplish?
Just revealing Naruto's true identity?
If that was the goal, then Hiruzen had to admit:
The mastermind succeeded.
Although the revelation caught him off guard, since Naruto had directly confronted him about it, Hiruzen simply decided to publicly acknowledge Naruto's identity.
Of course, he also skillfully convinced Naruto with all kinds of noble-sounding excuses about how it had all been "for Naruto's own good."
With Hiruzen's experience and political skill, manipulating the situation was hardly difficult.
Despite hiding the truth from Naruto for so many years, in Naruto's eyes, Hiruzen was still the trustworthy "Grandpa Hokage."
More importantly, Hiruzen had even asked the Hyuga Clan to examine Naruto with the Byakugan.
There was no abnormal chakra in Naruto's brain whatsoever.
Taking all of this into account, Naruto really didn't seem to be under genjutsu.
Yet at the same time, he truly could see things others couldn't!
Sure, Naruto loved pulling pranks, but Hiruzen could tell the difference.
This wasn't one of Naruto's jokes.
So who exactly was this mysterious mastermind?
The more Hiruzen thought about it, the more baffling the situation became.
"And what about the person who escaped earlier?"
After a pause, Hiruzen asked the ANBU another question.
About twenty days ago, the ANBU had discovered an unfamiliar individual inside Konoha.
The man had no detectable chakra fluctuations and appeared to be an ordinary civilian.
But how could a civilian enter Konoha unnoticed?
Combined with the fact that this person appeared around the same time Naruto was affected, suspicion naturally arose.
But unexpectedly, the man's awareness was terrifyingly sharp.
The instant the ANBU approached him, he vanished like a ghost.
Without a trace.
The ANBU interrogated every civilian who had interacted with him, yet nobody knew where he came from.
The investigation ultimately hit a dead end.
And remained that way until now.
"We apologize, Lord Hokage."
The ANBU ninja lowered his head in shame.
After more than twenty days, they still had nothing to show for it.
"Keep investigating. Do not lower your guard."
Hiruzen didn't blame them. He simply continued issuing orders.
"Yes, sir!"
"And what about Naruto? Any new developments?"
"No. For over twenty days now, Naruto says there haven't been any new messages in his mind, but he can still communicate with people from other worlds."
Hiruzen fell silent in thought again.
Naruto being able to communicate with people from other worlds was something Naruto had told him personally.
Naruto even claimed those people said he had obtained something capable of predicting the future.
Predicting the future?
Naturally, Hiruzen didn't believe such nonsense.
He merely nodded expressionlessly.
"I understand. Continue monitoring Naruto closely. Report any unusual developments immediately."
"Yes, sir!"
The ANBU obeyed and continued watching Naruto.
Soon enough, they noticed something strange again.
Naruto, who had been happily playing with other children moments earlier, suddenly froze.
Then he quietly ran to a nearby empty space and sat down.
As if he had noticed something.
—Yes, while many still found it hard to believe, with the Hokage's personal confirmation, Naruto's identity as the Fourth Hokage's son had gradually begun to gain acceptance.
Some villagers still doubted it, of course.
But others had slowly begun opening up to Naruto.
Some children were even willing to play with him now.
It was a promising start.
But the ANBU didn't care about that.
What concerned them was whether Naruto was once again seeing those "visions."
And indeed, he was.
The reason Naruto ran off alone was because he suddenly sensed that the mysterious diary inside his mind had updated again.
Without hesitation, Naruto eagerly began reading it.
Almost instantly, his little brain felt overloaded.
Parallel worlds?
What did that even mean?
It sounded incredibly profound!
In a world where the technological tree had developed in bizarre directions—and with Naruto still being just a little kid—it was naturally impossible for him to understand such a high-level concept.
It was far beyond him.
Still, Naruto had one admirable quality:
He didn't overthink things.
If he couldn't understand something, then he simply wouldn't force himself to.
He could just ask Grandpa Hokage later.
Satisfied with that conclusion, Naruto happily skipped over the confusing topic of parallel worlds and continued reading.
"Nani!? Destroy Konoha!?"
"How is that even possible!? Who could do something like that!?"
"That's impossible!"
Very quickly, Naruto angrily shouted out loud and slammed his hand against the ground.
Given Naruto's loyalty to Konoha, this revelation genuinely infuriated him.
"Naruto, what are you talking about?"
The children around him looked at him curiously.
"Uh, well…"
"It's nothing!"
Naruto originally wanted to explain, but after remembering the Hokage's warning to keep it secret, he reluctantly shut his mouth.
"Um… I've got something to do, so I'm heading home first!"
After saying goodbye to his friends, Naruto immediately used Body Flicker Technique and darted through the streets at high speed before returning to his apartment.
The ANBU monitoring him instantly understood.
Something had happened again.
Without hesitation, one ANBU stayed behind to continue observing Naruto while another rushed off to report to Hiruzen.
Of course, Naruto himself knew nothing about that.
His entire focus remained on the diary.
His mind repeatedly returned to one question:
Who exactly was Pain?
Although Naruto refused to believe anyone could destroy Konoha, the diary clearly stated that Pain attacked the village.
That alone meant Pain was unquestionably Konoha's enemy.
"It mentioned me again!"
Naruto's excitement instantly skyrocketed.
The diary said he fought to protect the village!
Awesome!
He really did become a great hero someday!
But what did "Nine-Tails transformation" mean?
And what about "breaking the seal"?
Naruto couldn't understand any of it.
As for "Shinra Tensei," he was even more confused.
But honestly, wasn't this all ridiculous anyway?
What kind of technique could destroy all of Konoha?
That was impossible!
Even Grandpa Hokage, who was incredibly powerful, couldn't perform anything remotely like that.
This was pure fantasy.
The exaggeration was completely outrageous.
"Even Kakashi-sensei died?"
"Who did it!?"
"How dare this guy slander Kakashi-sensei!"
Seeing Kakashi mentioned made Naruto even angrier.
Not long ago, Naruto had graduated from the Ninja Academy and been assigned to Team 7 alongside Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno.
Their teacher was Kakashi Hatake.
Although Naruto still found Kakashi annoyingly cool and weirdly obsessed with reading, deep down he respected him greatly.
He refused to tolerate anyone insulting his teacher.
The only frustrating thing was that he had no idea where the diary's writer was.
Otherwise, Naruto would absolutely have confronted them.
And then there was "Talk-no-Jutsu."
What kind of technique was that?
When had he ever learned something like that?
Could it really defeat someone as powerful as Pain?
"Hahaha! So I really do become a great hero in the future!"
Thinking about it made Naruto burst into excited laughter.
"Looks like Satan went to the Naruto world again."
Meanwhile, in Earth-199999, Tony Stark's interest was instantly piqued.
Compared to the Marvel-style parallel universe Earth-1610, Tony found this completely unfamiliar world far more fascinating.
An unfamiliar power system.
Unfamiliar people.
Everything about it was new, and it deeply stimulated his desire to explore.
"Pain."
"He's definitely some kind of supervillain."
Ultimate Tony immediately reached this conclusion.
The diary had already explained that Konoha was the strongest of the Five Great Ninja Villages.
Yet Pain could destroy the entire village in a single move, kill most of its ninja, and erase Konoha from the map.
That absolutely screamed final boss energy.
Tony didn't know why Pain attacked Konoha.
But one thing was certain:
Pain was terrifyingly powerful.
Powerful enough to suppress an entire ninja village alone.
Additionally, Naruto being called a "fox demon" clearly wasn't just a random insult.
It seemed there was real truth behind it.
Naruto could apparently transform into the fox demon to some extent!
And "Nine-Tails" must refer to the fox demon sealed away by Minato Namikaze.
Wait…
Breaking the seal completely?
Tony suddenly understood.
So Minato had sealed the fox demon inside his own son!
That explained why Naruto was called a fox demon.
And why he could transform into one.
Everything suddenly made sense.
[Naruto's Talk-no-Jutsu has to be one of the most overpowered abilities in the ninja world, right?]
[Nagato, Obito—these major ninja-world bosses were all persuaded by Naruto and abandoned their original ideals.]
[Even the Nine-Tails, who hated Minato with all its heart, eventually became close friends with Naruto through Talk-no-Jutsu.]
[Honestly, if there had been enough time during the battle against Kaguya Otsutsuki, I think Naruto might've convinced her too.]
[Kaguya Otsutsuki… the Rabbit Goddess herself. Calling her the ancestor of all ninja wouldn't be an exaggeration.]
[Sadly, she was sealed inside the moon by her own two sons for over a thousand years.]
So what exactly was Talk-no-Jutsu anyway?
Naruto scratched his head again.
When had he ever learned something like that?
And it was supposedly the strongest technique?
How did he not know about this?
But then Naruto remembered what that guy named Stark had said before:
The diary revealed many future events.
So maybe… he would learn this amazing technique in the future?
Naruto didn't know who Nagato or Obito were.
But the diary called them super bosses!
If future Naruto could defeat people like that, then future Naruto really must be incredible.
And then there was the Nine-Tails.
Did this refer to the legendary fox demon?
Wasn't that demon sealed away by his father?
Could it escape again in the future?
Naruto thought so hard his brain nearly hurt.
But then he quickly shook his head.
Why think about all that?
The important part was that future Naruto would become really strong.
And even if the fox demon escaped, Naruto would just defeat it again like his father did.
After all, according to the diary, he even managed to befriend it using Talk-no-Jutsu.
