Episode:24
In front of them were four officers, one of whom was carrying a ten-year-old girl in his arms. The little girl, trembling with fear and terror, kept looking back at the horde of zombies chasing them, while thick tears streamed down her cheeks. The officer holding her was running at full speed, causing her body to bounce up and down. Frightened, she buried her face against the soldier's shoulder.
Gunfire suddenly erupted all around them, bullets raining from above and around their surroundings. The shots were coming from ahead, striking the zombies directly. Each time a bullet hit, a zombie would collapse to the ground, and as they fell, the zombies running behind them would stumble and crash over their bodies.

After running for what felt like forever, three of the officers finally reached the armored military vehicle. Seeing them approach, the officers who had stepped out of the vehicle immediately climbed back inside.
The beautiful female officer, who had a stylish undercut haircut and was dressed in a military uniform, stood at the back left side of the vehicle, firing continuously. Not a single shot missed its target as she brought down zombie after zombie. On the right side, another army officer was also unleashing a rain of bullets upon the zombies, each shot striking with deadly precision.
Within moments, the first of the four running officers reached the vehicle. The others quickly extended their hands and pulled him inside. A soldier immediately checked him in haste and confirmed that he was completely fine.
Soon after, the second officer also reached the vehicle. Once he was safely seated inside, the same officer examined him and found that he too was unharmed.
Now only two officers remained outside—one of them still carrying the ten-year-old girl in his arms. Both were using every ounce of strength left in their bodies, running desperately toward the vehicle.
At last, the officer carrying the little girl reached the truck. The female army officer quickly took the child from the soldier standing below and handed her back to another officer inside the vehicle, who seated the girl safely in the rear.
At that same moment, the last officer, who was sprinting with all his remaining strength and was only a few steps away from safety, suddenly twisted his right foot and collapsed heavily onto the ground.
Not far behind him, the zombies were closing in rapidly. Some were still falling dead from the bullets, but many more kept charging forward. Since only one officer had been firing for the past few moments, the zombies were advancing in overwhelming numbers.
The moment everyone saw the fallen officer lying on the ground, their souls trembled with fear. For a brief second, even the officer firing at the zombies froze in terror and stopped shooting.
Seeing his comrade lying helplessly behind, the officer standing beside the vehicle—the same officer to whom the female officer had extended her hand to climb aboard—felt his forehead drenched in sweat, his breathing heavy and uneven.
The instant he realized his friend would soon be devoured by the zombie horde, he did not hesitate.
Without thinking twice, he turned and sprinted back toward him at incredible speed.
Within moments, he reached the fallen officer, grabbed his hand, and pulled him back onto his feet. Supporting him with all his strength, he began running again at full speed.
The female officer also helped by shouting urgently to the driver:
"Quick! Reverse the vehicle!"
The military truck immediately began backing up slowly and soon reached their position.
The officer helping his injured friend fulfilled what felt like his final duty—he pushed the injured officer into the truck first.
As the zombies drew dangerously close, he raised his voice and shouted at the top of his lungs:
"Drive the vehicle! Hurry!"
The moment those words were heard, the military truck moved forward.
Without wasting even a second, the officer leaped forward and managed to grab hold of the moving vehicle firmly, hanging from its side.
After a short distance, he carefully pulled himself inside.
The officer whose life had just been saved looked at him with gratitude and said:
"Thank you, my friend. If you hadn't saved me, then…"
Cutting him off, the officer replied:
"Alright, alright… stop overacting."
The female officer gently placed her hand over his, as he was seated beside her.
In response, he placed his own hand lovingly on top of hers.
The two exchanged silent smiles as they looked into each other's eyes.
And then, in complete silence, they all continued moving toward their destination.
