Chapter 334 - Chapter 334 – The Fusion Process? Invincible?

One minute later.

The fused guard had been beaten black and blue by Ken.

Ken was still about to keep hitting him.

The fused guard panicked and quickly waved his hands, signaling for Ken to stop.

"I'll teach you… I'll teach you, all right?" the fused guard said repeatedly, afraid that if he answered too slowly, he would get beaten again.

"Wouldn't it have been better if you'd said that earlier? Why insist on getting beaten first?" Ken said with a grin.

"Damn it…" The fused guard gnashed his teeth in hatred.

This brat never plays by the rules.

"Go on, then. Tell me about that Super Fusion Technique of yours." Ken looked at the fused guard with a smile.

"The Super Fusion Technique requires two people with similar bodies and similar energy to complete the fusion," the guard explained. "You need to find someone like that first. Otherwise, you won't be able to use the Super Fusion Technique."

"Oh? I heard the Supreme Kai's Potara Earrings can also fuse people, and that they were based on your Super Fusion Technique," Ken said.

"That's right. The Grand Priest modified our Super Fusion Technique and incorporated it into the Supreme Kai's Potara, allowing fusion to happen quickly." The guard nodded without denying it. "However, the power Potara provides is limited. It's nowhere near as strong as our Super Fusion Technique. You can think of Potara as a simplified version of fusion."

"What about the Metamorans' Fusion Dance? Is that related to you too?" Ken asked.

"Yes. Many years ago, the Metamorans treated us very well, so when they were invaded, we taught them a simplified version of the fusion technique. They renamed it the Fusion Dance," the fused guard said, briefly explaining the connection.

"They treated you very well?" Ken froze slightly, then immediately became interested. "What kind of treatment? Tell me."

"It's nothing especially private. The Metamorans have extremely advanced massage techniques. You can go try them sometime if you want," the fused guard said truthfully.

"Oh?" Ken was a little tempted. He immediately used the crystal ball on his scepter to check what the Metamorans looked like.

The moment he saw them, Ken lost interest.

The Metamorans looked far too strange.

They looked a little like Patrick Star.

Being massaged by someone who looked like that would not feel appealing at all.

I still prefer pretty girls giving me massages.

Even if their technique is a little worse, that's fine.

Getting a massage from Patrick Star would just feel weird.

Still, their massage techniques could be taught to the girls on Planet Nilala.

The moment Ken thought of the girls on Planet Nilala, his mood immediately stirred.

Instead of fighting you here, I might as well go to Planet Nilala and fight those girls.

Ken understood the principle of enjoying life while he could.

At least for now, it would still take Ken several years to reach level 99.

He might as well enjoy himself properly first.

However, since he had already fought the two guards, leaving without gaining anything was not Ken's style.

"Continue," Ken ordered.

"As long as two people have similar bodies and similar energy, they can complete the fusion by following our movements. It's that simple," the fused guard explained.

"Oh? It's that simple?" Ken looked thoughtful.

"However, the dance at the beginning is too complicated. Most people won't be able to learn it," the fused guard added.

Ken fell silent.

Isn't it just Ke Mu San? What's so hard to learn?

Though learning it would feel a little… embarrassing, wouldn't it?

Even if this is a stiff version.

Either way, I'm not using it.

Ken had already fully memorized the movements for the Super Fusion Technique.

Movements like that were easy to learn at a glance.

According to the fused guard, the other steps were basically the same as the Fusion Dance.

"So as long as someone performs those movements, they can achieve that invincible effect?" Ken asked again.

"The condition is that both people must perform exactly the same movements. They must be perfectly synchronized, or they won't achieve the invincible effect," the fused guard explained. "That kind of synchronization is easy for gods, but for ordinary people, reaching that level is incredibly difficult."

Ken nodded lightly.

The fused guard was right.

For ordinary mortals, perfect synchronization really would be hard to achieve.

That could be slowly cultivated later.

Training Goku and Vegeta sometime so they could complete the Super Fusion Technique would be much more meaningful.

"All right, that's enough for today. I still have something important to do, so I won't keep playing with you," Ken told the fused guard.

When the fused guard heard Ken's words, he quietly breathed a sigh of relief and felt a small burst of joy.

Finally, no more fighting!

I'm no match for this guy at all.

I never expected him to have reached level 80 already.

I thought he could only reach level 80 by transforming.

This guy really is a genius.

"Go on, get out of here. Find somewhere quiet and stay there." Ken waved at the two guards without the slightest courtesy, signaling that they could leave.

The fused guard bared his teeth, looking unhappy.

"You still dare bare your teeth at me? Do you want me to knock them out?" Ken said, waving the scepter in his hand.

"No… What I mean is… if you don't transform, and the two of us spar at level 80, it will help both of us improve a great deal," the fused guard suggested.

"We'll talk about it when I have time. Digest the fight we just had first. I'll come fight you again later," Ken replied after thinking it over.

"That works…" The fused guard could not say much more.

"I'm just afraid I'll level up too quickly. By the next time I see you, even if you fuse, your level might already be below my normal state," Ken said with a helpless sigh.

The fused guard fell silent.

That stung.

Could you not say the truth so directly?

"I'm leaving." Ken called out, then turned and left.

In an instant, Ken appeared beside Merus.

"Let's go, Merus. Were you planning to stay for tea?" Ken greeted him with a smile.

Merus had no response.

Then Merus immediately followed him.

"Ken, where are we going?" Merus asked curiously.

"Planet Nilala, of course," Ken replied.

"Oh… You still remember that planet?" Merus wiped away sweat. "I thought you'd forgotten."

"It's all this guy's fault. He delayed our trip." Ken struck Zat's seal with his scepter.

"Aaagh!"

Zat let out a miserable scream.

Just now, Ken had used his scepter to remove the sound barrier around Zat.

Now Zat's screams could be heard from inside the seal.

Hearing Zat's scream, the fused guard froze slightly, then hurriedly flew over and appeared beside Ken.

"Why is there a voice inside?" the fused guard asked. "Is the Demon Supreme Kai's younger brother really sealed in there?"

"Do I look like the kind of Angel who likes lying?" Ken said irritably, glaring at the fused guard.

The fused guard and Merus nodded hard at the same time.

Ken fell silent.

Looks like my image in the Realm of Gods is completely ruined.

Do you all think everything I say is that unreliable?

"Why didn't you let the sound out earlier? I would have believed you then!" the fused guard snorted.

"I blocked the sound mainly because I wanted to see how stupid you were," Ken said with a faint smile.

The fused guard glared at him.

Who are you calling stupid?

Am I really that stupid?

The fused guard immediately split in two, returning to the Left Guard and Right Guard.

Both guards snorted, becoming even more annoyed.

For the Left Guard and Right Guard, this fight had practically ended before they even got into rhythm.

You did that on purpose, didn't you?

Ken really had not done it on purpose.

His goal had already been achieved.

It was impossible to say Ken had gained nothing from fighting the guards.

At the very least, Ken had gained a much deeper understanding of combat technique.

Through his battle with the fused guard, Ken had realized one major truth.

In the Dragon Ball world, all combat techniques were useless.

That's right. Completely useless.

No matter how profound your technique was, it meant nothing before absolute strength.

The Left Guard and Right Guard had excellent combat technique, didn't they?

And what happened?

As long as you were one level above them, you could crush them with ease.

Combat technique only mattered when both sides were at the same level.

But were there really that many opponents with nearly identical levels?

Don't forget, there were many decimal points behind each level.

Earlier, during Ken's battle with the fused guard, Ultra Instinct had fallen slightly behind. But now Ken realized it was not because Ultra Instinct was weak.

It was not Ultra Instinct that was weak.

It was because the fused guard's level was slightly higher.

To put it simply, the decimal points after his level 80 were slightly higher than Ken's.

So Ken had now reached a conclusion.

Technique and skill were not that important.

What truly mattered was the level of divine power, energy, or Angel power.

Take battle power, for example.

In the original story, out of all the countless battles Goku and his friends fought, how many were won because of technique?

In this Dragon Ball timeline, it was only because of Ken's influence that Krillin used the Kienzan to eliminate Nappa.

In the true storyline, Goku and his friends defeated their opponents every time by raising their energy.

The classic example was the battle between Goku's group and Frieza on Namek.

Winning through technique simply meant your natural talent was too poor.

Krillin was the perfect example.

As an Earthling, all he could do was train his techniques.

At least it gave him some ability to protect himself.

What Ken wanted was not technique, but true strength.

"The Demon Supreme Kai's younger brother? Why would he come to our world?" the Left Guard frowned, hesitating over whether to tell Ken that the Grand Priest had once gone to the Demon Realm and fought a major battle there.

The Grand Priest's level had dropped sharply since then.

Should I tell Ken about this?

After thinking carefully, the Left Guard ultimately chose not to say anything.

Saying it would only create trouble.

After all, that was the Grand Priest's own affair. If news of his injury spread, it might cause unrest in the Realm of Gods.

"How else would he come? He snuck in," Ken said as if it were obvious.

What a stupid question.

Ken did not even want to deal with the Left Guard anymore.

The Left Guard fell silent.

In the past, he might have stepped forward to provoke Ken again.

But Ken's strength had far surpassed his, and not only that, it had surpassed the fusion of the Left Guard and Right Guard as well.

So now, the Left Guard no longer dared say much.

"Does the Grand Priest know about this?" the Left Guard asked again.

"He knows, and he doesn't," Ken answered vaguely.

The Left Guard was confused.

The Right Guard was confused.

Both of them were a little lost.

What does "he knows, and he doesn't" mean?

Does he know or not?

"All right. With your intelligence, you won't be able to understand the mystery behind it. Hurry back to Zeno-sama and behave yourselves as guards," Ken said, waving them off.

"What are you planning to do with this guy?" The Left Guard held back his annoyance and asked again.

"Oh, I just remembered. Your middle finger seemed to go right into his ass earlier," Ken said, slapping his forehead as he looked at the Left Guard.

The Left Guard fell silent.

"Let me check." The Right Guard grabbed the Left Guard's hand and brought his middle finger close to his nose.

Ken quietly wiped away sweat.

Merus had no words.

I thought I was already pretty dumb, but the two guards are even worse.

"It really did go there…" the Right Guard said with a serious nod. "Smells a little bad."

"Want to taste it?" Ken suggested.

"Do you think I'm stupid?" the Right Guard snorted and rolled his eyes at Ken.

Ken gently pushed the Left Guard's arm.

The Left Guard's finger instantly…

The Right Guard immediately felt awful all over and began retching nonstop.

"Let's go, Merus." Ken sighed softly. "I don't want to stay with idiots."

After saying that, Ken took Merus and walked away.

The Left Guard and Right Guard looked at each other, furious but helpless.

Ken was simply too strong.

"Damn it! That guy is still as arrogant as ever!" the Right Guard spat, clenching his fists as veins bulged on his forehead.

"We need to find a way to give him a proper beating!" the Left Guard said, also furious.

"But how?" The moment the Right Guard thought of Ken's overwhelming strength, he deflated like a punctured ball.

The Left Guard's once-straight posture gradually slumped as well, his head hanging low.

Exactly. How are we supposed to beat him?

It feels like he trains faster than we do.

In just seven short years, he went from level 71 to level 80.

"I have to admit, that guy really is a genius," the Left Guard said in a low voice.

Ken paid no further attention to the Left Guard and Right Guard. He took Merus and flew at high speed toward Universe 12.

Originally, Ken had planned to go with Merus to Planet Nilala in Universe 12 first.

But after thinking about it, Ken had decided to fight first and then go to Planet Nilala to have fun.

"Bier is in Universe 12, isn't she? Let's invite her too. I haven't seen her in a long time. I kind of miss her," Ken suggested.

"But… will she be able to find us?" Merus quietly wiped away sweat.

"I'll release my Angel power in a bit and guide her there," Ken replied after thinking for a moment. "If she still can't find us after that, then we can all look down on her together."

"Still, everyone on that planet is a beautiful girl… Bier probably won't be interested, right?" Merus said, gently shaking his head.

"I'm inviting her just to be polite. Whether she comes or not is her business," Ken said with a smile.

Merus fell silent.

So all those times before, you were just being polite to me?

And I took it seriously?

I really am too honest.

Snap!

Suddenly, the brilliant glowing sphere beside Ken expanded several times and nearly exploded.

Ken calmly injected a small amount of Angel power into it.

The swollen glowing sphere gradually returned to its limit.

Merus, who was beside him, was startled and quickly put up a protective barrier by reflex.

After all, Zat's strength had reached level 60.

If Zat struck Merus with full force…

Merus felt that he might be scattered apart.

"Not bad!" Ken said, a little surprised as he looked at the swollen glowing sphere.

Just now, Zat had almost escaped.

Fortunately, Ken reacted quickly and used Angel power to seal him again in time.

"Grand Priestess, say something," Ken called to the Grand Priestess inside his body.

"The Demon Realm's unique magic has some rather unusual effects," the Grand Priestess answered. "My suggestion is to stop sealing him and kill him."

"If we kill him, the Demon Supreme Kai should sense it immediately, right?" Amarella asked from the side.

"Don't worry. We are in two different worlds. The Demon Supreme Kai absolutely won't be able to sense his brother's death," the Grand Priestess said with certainty, shaking her head.

"Oh? You're that sure?" Ken narrowed his eyes at the Grand Priestess.

"Yes. It's the same as when I was in the Demon Realm. No news reached the Realm of Gods, and many Angels didn't even know I had died," the Grand Priestess gave a reasonable answer. "If I died in this world, every Angel would definitely sense it immediately."

"So what you mean is, you think I wouldn't dare kill you. Is that right?" Ken asked with a smile.

"No…" The Grand Priestess shook her head. "Why would I think that? I was only giving an example."

"What you said does make sense." Ken thought for a moment. "How about I put him inside my body first and let you deal with him?"

"Really? You'll really let me deal with him?" The Grand Priestess's face filled with joy and anticipation.

"Beg me. If you beg me, I'll hand him over to you." Ken smiled teasingly.

To be honest, Ken still had not completely gotten over what the Grand Priestess had done.

After all, back then, the Grand Priestess had tried to control him and drain all his Angel power.

If Ken had not prepared in advance, he might not even exist anymore.

So whenever Ken thought of that matter, anger rose inside him.

It had to be said, Ken could be rather petty.

"You…" The Grand Priestess bit her lip. After a brief hesitation, she lowered her noble head and said softly, "Please."

"Louder. I can't hear you," Ken said.

The Grand Priestess tightly bit her lower lip, her expression pitiful and wronged.

"Don't act innocent in front of me. When you tried to devour my Angel power, you showed no mercy at all," Ken snorted.

"I… I only wanted revenge," the Grand Priestess quickly explained. "It's been so long. Are you still angry?"

"If you wanted revenge, you shouldn't have dragged me into it," Ken said flatly.

The Grand Priestess fell silent.

A long silence followed.

"Actually, I wasn't trying to kill you back then… My original plan was only to absorb all your Angel power. You would still have kept your Saiyan body," the Grand Priestess weakly defended herself.

"I had already become a true Angel. If you absorbed all my Angel power, could I really return to being a Saiyan?" Ken snapped.

The Grand Priestess fell silent again.

Five or six seconds passed.

"But that didn't happen, did it?" the Grand Priestess tried to argue again.

Ken fell silent.

"You know what? I don't think I should call you the Grand Priestess anymore. How about I call you the Great Fairy instead?" Ken was so annoyed by her that he almost laughed.

"Great Fairy? In our world, fairies are ranked below gods," the Grand Priestess explained seriously. "Generally speaking, a fairy refers to someone on a planet who has reached a certain height through cultivation. Their status is not even as high as a planet's god."

Ken did not want to talk anymore.

Are you giving me a lesson now?

Still, Ken decided to hand Zat over to the Grand Priestess.

This little thing was not worth Ken personally destroying.

Snap!

Ken beckoned toward the brilliant glowing sphere.

In an instant, Zat's seal sank into Ken's body.

Inside Ken's body, Zat's seal gradually opened and appeared in front of the Grand Priestess.

Ken suppressed Zat's level again.

After emerging from the seal, Zat immediately looked around in every direction. He quickly noticed the Grand Priestess standing opposite him.

"You? Grand Priestess!" Zat clearly recognized her and looked at her in surprise. "You're actually still alive."

"Surprised, Zat?" the Grand Priestess snorted, endless killing intent flashing in her eyes.

"You really are hard to kill. I scattered you back then, yet you still survived. As expected of the Realm of Gods' true priestess," Zat snorted, showing no fear at all.

"You should never have come to our world!" The Grand Priestess's face filled with boundless fury. "It's time to settle what happened back then!"

"Where is this?" Zat looked around again and found that the place seemed a little like the World of Void.

But there were also many subtle differences from the World of Void.

"This is inside Ken's body," the Grand Priestess said truthfully.

"Inside that Angel called Ken?" Zat understood.

"That's right." The Grand Priestess nodded, and a scepter immediately appeared in her hand.
