Chapter 607 - BCL Chapter 602: Tomori, Everything in Moderation...

"Understood~"

"Thank you, Kitahara-kun."

"Everyone, hurry up and go choose your rooms."

"Don't pick rooms too far apart; it's best if we all stay on the same floor of the hotel."

"..."

The girls consented one after another, leading their respective parents out to pick hotel rooms.

"I'll head down to the lobby for a moment and have them arrange food."

Kitahara gave a heads-up to the girls, then took the elevator down to the hotel lobby.

"Kitahara-kun, is there anything you need?"

Sato walked forward briskly to greet him, bowing respectfully.

This woman had already cleaned and freshened herself up; no longer in the disheveled state of tears and snot from earlier, she had turned back into a textbook modern urban lady.

"There is indeed a matter I'd like to trouble Sato-san with," Kitahara softly stated his purpose. "Please help prepare ordinary meals for thirty people. There's no need for it to be complimentary; I will pay the full cost according to standard pricing."

"Of course!"

Without the slightest hesitation, Sato readily agreed with a smile:

"I'll notify the kitchen to prepare the meals right away."

"Miss Sato, the hotel's chefs have all gone off duty, and the hotel's stocked ingredients are not plentiful; we cannot afford wasteful extravagance."

A middle-aged man dressed in a suit stepped forward, seemingly speaking to the woman, but in reality delivering the words for Kitahara's ears.

"Then call the off-duty chefs back for overtime," Sato's expression hardened, speaking with the standard approach of a capitalist. "Compensate them with double overtime pay."

"Miss..."

"Do as I say."

"I am very sorry, but Miss has not yet officially taken over the hotel. As the person in charge here, I have a responsibility toward the other guests in this hotel," the middle-aged man bowed in apology, appearing respectful on the surface while actually conveying stubborn dissatisfaction. "Therefore, I must respectfully decline."

"You..."

Sato's face changed, and she gritted her teeth as she pulled out her phone:

"I'm calling my father right this instant!"

"No need to go through all that trouble," Kitahara extended a hand to stop Sato, his expression calm. "I will persuade this manager myself."

The apocalypse had already arrived; Kitahara currently only wanted to spend his time being together with the girls.

"Mr. Manager, how about I perform a magic trick for you..."

Kitahara extended his right hand, making an empty grasping motion in midair.

The very next second.

A glass ashtray resting on the hotel front desk flew directly across the air into Kitahara's right hand.

"W-What's going on?"

"That ashtray actually flew!"

"Could it really be magic?"

"How is that possible? Magic tricks are all sleight of hand requiring all sorts of props... He must be one of those special individuals!"

"..."

Aside from Sato, who had witnessed Kitahara's extraordinary traits firsthand, the front desk receptionist, the lobby manager, and several security guards all wore completely dumbstruck expressions.

And he wasn't finished yet.

Snap!

Holding the ashtray, Kitahara snapped it lightly; the glass ashtray instantly cracked and shattered with a crisp crunch.

Immediately after, under the incredulous gazes of everyone present, Kitahara exerted a tiny fraction of strength in his right hand, directly grinding one of the broken glass shards into fine powder.

Opening his right hand, Kitahara let the powdered glass slip through his palm, the tiny fragments refracting a dreamlike, prismatic luster under the light, before he looked toward the middle-aged man and calmly asked:

"Mr. Manager, are you satisfied with the magic trick I performed?"

"..."

The middle-aged man turned deathly pale, cold sweat beading on his forehead as he bent directly into a ninety-degree bow, casting aside every shred of the excuses he made earlier with utmost reverence:

"Please wait a moment, sir! I will arrange for the chefs to prepare the meals immediately!"

When you are powerful enough, the entire world greets you with smiles... The weight behind this saying was clearly continuing to escalate.

Turning his head toward Sato, Kitahara offered a guarantee:

"Pardon the intrusion over these few days. If rioters attack the hotel, or if any anomalous incursions are spotted, leave them to me to handle."

"Thank you so much, Kitahara-kun!"

Sato's eyes sparkled brightly, wishing she could pledge herself to him on the spot:

"If there's anywhere you need help, please don't hesitate to say the word, Kitahara-kun; I guarantee you'll be satisfied."

If Kitahara had been a hulking, ferocious brute with a face full of scars, Sato's fear would naturally outweigh her gratitude; but after returning from Otherworld, Kitahara's charm stat had jumped an entire tier higher—he was practically a genuine male incubus now.

In a world where beauty is justice, could someone like Kitahara ever be a bad person?

Obviously impossible.

Thus, even after seeing Kitahara crush an ashtray to dust with his bare hands, Sato felt not the slightest dread, only the desire to give herself to him.

"Nothing for now; if I need anything, I'll naturally let Sato-san know."

Kitahara politely exchanged a few pleasantries with her and quickly took his leave.

Taking the elevator back up to the top floor, everyone had already chosen their rooms and begun unpacking and washing up. Kitahara found Ryo, informed her that the hotel was preparing meals and tasked her with notifying everyone to head down to eat, while he himself used fast travel to head over to Tomori's home.

Ever since returning, he had not seen Tomori even once, making him miss her exceptionally.

"Makoto-kun!"

The moment Kitahara stepped out from the full-length mirror, a petite silhouette crashed straight into his embrace.

"Y-You're finally back..."

Tomori tilted her little face up, her eyes misty with tears.

Reuniting amid the apocalypse, even the emotionally reserved Tomori was teary-eyed at this moment, overcome with uncontrollable excitement.

"Sorry for making Tomori worry."

Kitahara responded tenderly, holding Tomori tightly in his arms.

Tomori rose straight onto her tiptoes, offering up her soft lips:

"Makoto-kun, kiss me."

"..."

Kitahara naturally couldn't refuse, leaning down to gently seal the girl's soft, moist cherry lips.

"Mmh..."

Tomori's eyelashes fluttered gently as she began actively and passionately responding.

After a long time.

Seeing that Tomori was on the verge of running out of breath, Kitahara finally let her go.

"Hah... hah..."

Panting heavily, Tomori leaned limp and boneless against Kitahara's chest, entirely unable to stand on her own; her small face was flushed crimson, and her eyes were so moist they seemed ready to drip water:

"Makoto-kun..."

"Hmm?"

"Go to the Onsen Dimension..."

"..."

Faced with Tomori's proactive invitation, Kitahara naturally had no objections.

Earlier there had been far too many people around with zero opportunity to be alone together; now that only Tomori was left, devouring her thoroughly was the only acceptable outcome.

Light warped faintly, and both silhouettes vanished into thin air.

The little alarm clock on the desk ticked onward, rhythmically distinct in the quiet night.

Ten minutes later.

Kitahara finally carried Tomori back into the room from the Onsen Dimension; the clothes on Tomori's body had vanished without a trace, leaving only a single white bathrobe, her entire frame leaning limp and boneless into Kitahara's embrace, visibly incapable of even standing steady.

"Rest for a little bit first," Kitahara held Tomori as he sat by the bedside, speaking gently. "Once you've rested, get dressed, explain the situation to your parents, and pack your things to head to Kagoshima."

Though Kagoshima was far from peaceful, compared to Tokyo where dense fog swirled and despair was rampant, it was undoubtedly paradise.

"Thank you, Makoto-kun..."

Pressing her small face against Kitahara's chest, listening to the vigorous thumping of his heartbeat, Tomori's eyes remained moist and misty:

"I want to do it one more time."

Kitahara: "...Moderation, Tomori. Everything in moderation."

You can't even walk anymore; don't push yourself past the limit!

Though she deeply wished to continue lingering in intimacy, Tomori still remembered her parents after all; once her strength had recovered a bit, the two changed clothes and left the room together.

Walking down the stairs, they spotted a middle-aged couple sitting on the sofa, their faces etched with deep worry; beside the man lay a baseball bat, his eyes darting vigilantly toward the front door from time to time—evidently Tomori's parents.

Hearing footsteps, the woman looked up, an expression of astonishment breaking out across her face:

"Tomori, he..."

Before the woman could finish asking, Tomori decisively blurted out first:

"Mom, this is Makoto-kun, the person I'm dating that I told you both about."

"Dating?"

Tomori's father furrowed his brows and looked over.

The fog had already been around for several days and ordinary citizens didn't dare set foot outside; why on earth would a boy suddenly pop out of thin air? Could he have been hiding in his daughter's room this entire time?

Yet the instant the couple saw Kitahara's appearance clearly, the suspicion in their hearts instantly vanished into smoke.

Beauty is justice.

With Kitahara's current charm attribute, his initial favorability rating within the human faction started out at fifty points minimum.

"Uncle, Auntie, good evening. It's a pleasure to meet you for the first time, please take care of me..."

Kitahara showed no trace of arrogance despite his overwhelming power, remaining as modest and polite as always.

After briefly outlining the circumstances of how he and Tomori began dating, Kitahara casually displayed a small feat of supernatural ability, effortlessly convincing Tomori's parents; the confusion and despair on the couple's faces were swept away, and they quickly began packing their luggage.

Buzz, buzz.

The phone in his pocket vibrated gently.

Kitahara pulled out his phone, seeing a message from Mutsumi:

"Makoto-kun, I'm done packing."

Kitahara: "Summon Hana directly to head to Kagoshima; Hana has already registered the coordinates."

There were only three people in Mutsumi's household in total, and all of them were well aware of Kitahara's supernatural prowess; thus, without the slightest hesitation or delay, upon seeing their daughter return home, they immediately began packing, preparing to flee Tokyo.

Before long, another message popped up on his screen, this time from Sakiko:

"Kitahara-kun, there are quite a lot of people who want to evacuate..."

Kitahara: "I'll head over there myself."

With few people, Hana could act as a 'porter,' but with a massive group, ferrying them one by one was far too troublesome; it was better to head over and pack them all up directly.

"Tomori, see you in a bit..."

Kitahara pocketed his phone, explained the reason to Tomori, and departed via fast travel.

"Kitahara-kun, you're here."

Just as he stepped out from the full-length mirror, a girl's cool, melodious voice sounded in his ears.

Kitahara looked toward Sakiko, feigning astonishment:

"We haven't seen each other for half an hour; how did Sakiko become even cuter?"

"I merely changed into a different set of clothes," Sakiko raised a hand to tuck the hair behind her ear, her bright eyes casting an affectionate, reproachful glance. "Kitahara-kun, don't exaggerate so much."

Kitahara extended an arm and drew her lightly into his embrace, taking Sakiko into his arms:

"Where are Sakiko's family members?"

"Downstairs in the main hall..." Sakiko pursed her lips, speaking softly, "Only after returning did I find out that because the villa had Hana's barrier, essentially everyone from the clan gathered here."

"A prominent clan having lots of people is completely normal," Kitahara nodded gently, unbothered. "Shall we head downstairs?"

"Okay," Sakiko answered softly. "Sorry for causing Kitahara-kun trouble."

"Sakiko's family is my family; how could it be any trouble?" Kitahara wore an expression of upright righteousness, before smoothly pivoting, "Though if Sakiko wishes to compensate me, I wouldn't turn it down either."

Sakiko shot him a reproachful look with her bright eyes: "There is no compensation."

"Then there should at least be a reward, right?"

"No rewards either."

"..."

Speaking in low voices, the two pushed open the door and stepped out of the room.

Kitahara swept his gaze downward—good grief, there were easily dozens of people, fully worthy of an enormous clan spanning over a century.

Beside Sakiko's grandfather stood several elderly figures; beside Sakiko's father were middle-aged peers of comparable age; aside from them, there were many youths around the same age as Sakiko... the old, middle, and young generations were entirely present.

Unfortunately, not a single person jumped out to question Kitahara's capabilities; every one of them greeted Kitahara and Sakiko with beaming smiles, their attitudes exceptionally harmonious and amicable.

Not only that, Sakiko's grandfather publicly declared on the spot that Sakiko was henceforth the designated heir to the Togawa family; even in the face of such a bombshell announcement, not a single soul raised an objection.

It came down to that same saying.

When you are powerful enough, everyone greets you with a smiling face.

With too many people present, Kitahara grew impatient after just a couple of polite pleasantries, simply waving his hand to pack everyone into the Onsen Dimension, before fast traveling back to Kagoshima.

What came next was no concern of his; the Togawa clan had their own ways forward.

Kitahara had barely rested for two minutes when Taki, accompanied by her parents and her older sister Maki, stepped out from the full-length mirror, joining up with everyone in Kagoshima.

"Maki-san, Uncle, Auntie, good evening..."

Kitahara stepped forward with a smile to greet them.

Explanations had already been handled by Taki beforehand, requiring no wasted breath on Kitahara's part; all he needed to do was arrange hotel rooms for Taki's family.

During this process, Taki's parents quickly caught on to Kitahara's scumbag harem-king status, their expressions turning complicated, yet they all maintained silence, none of them uttering a word about forbidding the relationship.

Taki's older sister Maki looked over with an even more resentful, aggrieved gaze directed at her younger sister.

If Taki hadn't interfered back then, the two sisters could have united hearts and minds, easily reaping the benefits together!

In the middle of casual chatting, a phone ringtone suddenly went off.

Kitahara pulled out his phone, finding that the incoming call was from Hitori.

"Kitahara-san, save, save, save, save, save me!"

Hitori's panicked, frantic voice spilled out from the phone speaker.

"What happened?"

Kitahara's expression instantly turned grave.

"Just now Jimihen slipped out through a door crack, Futari ran after him, and mom and I chased after them, but Futari vanished in the blink of an eye!" Hitori's voice was frantic, tinged with sobbing tears. "Please, Kitahara-san, come over quickly!"

Kitahara stated decisively:

"Hitori, pray to me."

"O-Okay..."

Hitori hurriedly began calling Kitahara's name in her heart.

Kitahara took a deep breath, raised his right hand, and slashed across the air, tearing open a spatial rift directly; under everyone's astonished gazes, he stepped right through, his figure vanishing in an instant.
