"Look, Glaris." – Holding the baby, she rocked the treasure of her family softly.
"Oa, so I'm now sister, aren't I?"
A soft laughter, "Of course you are."
"But… Why is he staring at me?" – Glaris poked her finger toward that baby-soft left cheek.
The eldest sister just smiled, "Maybe because he likes you, the second eldest sister, don't you think so?"
*Bleh* – "I swear he only likes my beauty."
Posing the smudging pose, it's quite funny that a twelve years old girl was glazing her beauty on her own.
"Isn't that good? It means that he has good eyes, with this face, it'll probably waste if he doesn't care about a partner."
"Hey hey, he's just born. Why do we get to the marriage issue right now?"
A laughter, "Be a good sister, then teach him which type of girlfriends he should have."
"Nope, he must know how to swing the sword first. And how am I supposed to teach that thing?"
Six years passed.
"Sister, why does he always sit there and look to Tempest*?" – Glaris had observed this behavior of her brother for three years. For those three years, he just sat at the highest tower of the castle, keeping his eyes toward the gate.
*Tempest: The West Gate of Lajuln* leading toward the dangerous seas of giant whirlpools, sharp stone stakes and thunderous rains.
*Lajuln: The South Continent of Aegista* with four sides adjoining seas.
*Aegista: The true name of The Great Continent.
Lost in thought for a while, she spoke up, "The destiny."
"Yes?" – Claris couldn't understand her sister. Since the first time she opened up her eyes in this world, Claris sometimes felt lost in the veil her sister'd been trying to hold her far away from.
"Sometimes I feel like I'm so left behind, sis, what is going on?"
A smile, she tilted her head to look at Aetheria, "Some days, you'll know it."
*Clash* – Within one strike, the fight had been set to an end. In Grantey Clan, there's always a tournament between each generation for each five years after the members unlock their Aura. And that was the first match of his life, Aetheria had defeated the opponent at the age of nine.
"Bravo, who is my boy?" – Hugging and grinding her left cheek toward that baby-soft left cheek of Aetheria, Glaris couldn't hold back her pride after that victory.
"Don't get close to me, so weird." – Those two little hands slightly pushed Glaris away, it seemed like Aetheria didn't like that behavior.
"O~" – She didn't care, Glaris kept doing it all at will.
"[ERROR]" – All the scene instantly turns gray, and only Aetheria turns away. He opens a door and looks at the observer.
Huh? Did he just say something? Is he…?
Aetheria gets back to his consciousness, at the point he couldn't know, he had been led into that memory without a protest. And at the same time, that boy disappears inside the white light of that open door.
Hey, wait!
Running on his feet, Aetheria chased that silhouette into the whitest light. Stepping on the unfamiliar land by himself, Aetheria wanders through the forest setting sun light, all the sounds of nature.
Where am I?
*Boom* – A red flare sparked up, it burnt down the forest without a warning, the disaster had come. Hearing the cracking sounds, Aetheria instantly reflexed to that moment. He bursted the Aura all around and tried to tear down one monster's head.
*Splash* – Yet, his hand went straight through the wolf beast.
Huh? Feeling like something was left behind, he turns back.
*Splash* – Hitting straight to his eyes, Aetheria witnesses that beast's eating raw the child.
Was that "me"?
And then, he again sees that Aetheria does a thing. That boy, he is pointing to the right.
*Vroom* – When he moved his head, the entire scene had been changed back to the bedroom.
*Hah!* – Holding his neck, with the forehead full of sweat, Aetheria woke up from the nightmare. After that, for two seconds, Glaris just broke into his room and checked for the issue.
"No, nothing." – Calming down the second eldest sister, Aetheria stood up and swung the swords harder.
"Tester." – The scene went gray again and Aetheria again interacted with the observer.
"It is my ability."
"[ERROR]"
Again, the turbulence distracted the story for one more time. Tester? So that was the simulation with me set as the x value in the function?
It's so strange, Aetheria feels like he has already known that power. As a veil being burnt, revealing the hidden memory.
Is… was that really… me? Wondering, Aeth again followed him in the past into another door.
*Vroom* – Still that forest dyed in the setting sun light, and still the sudden appearance of a dimensional rift. This time, the x value put into the function was already a "thirteen years old Aetheria."
*Clash* – Beneath those claws, Aetheria was no longer killed in one tap. Indeed, he parried it nicely and clearly just to open up a space for the second blade.
*Splash* – Stabbing the arming sword toward that heart, Aetheria unleashed a thunder spell just to stun the monster.
*Splash* – Cutting down its head, Aetheria chased the others until he slain all of them.
With the blades dipped in blood, Aetheria heavily breathed in and out while stepping upon a pile of monster flesh. As an observer, Aeth knows that the rift was actually a Semi-Calamity Dimensional Rift. He's also aware that Aetheria would soon die.
*Splash* – As predicted, beneath a wipe of a random monster in the third wave, Aetheria in the memory was killed.
*Hah!* – It's too similar, it's the tenth time Aetheria in the memory woke up with a bad face after being defeated. So terrible, he signed.
"Again?" – Glaris just stood right inside his room, she just got used to this thing long ago.
"Nothing."
"Really? It's been the tenth time."
"Just a nightmare." – Avoiding the issue, he went to practice again.
How cute, Aeth at that time still thought that he could solve everything if he's stronger. Yet, soon he realized that even a legendary sword couldn't save his eldest sister.
"Let's move fast from this scene." – Offering Aetheria, he in the past gives out a hand.
Of course, Aeth at this moment also holds it tight. They both enter the door again.
*Clash* – "Oh, it seems like you've awakened, haven't you?"
Raigan presses Aetheria straight into the ground with the spear of dragon slayer while yapping around. On the contrary, Aetheria doesn't have that much time to breathe, let alone to stay leisurely like her opponent.
The worst thing is both Jack of All Trades and Self Time Acceleration were all expired. Aetheria is now much weaker without those supports. Also, there are two souls attached in this body and the limit of the contract also pointed out that this state is invalid for neither of them can use the ability. Which means when two Aetheria stay awakened, none of them can use the Ability until one of them leaves the body or sleeps again.
"Tch." – It's very small, but that frustration and helplessness are too obvious for Raigan to understand, that he's staying on top of the fight.
"How adorable, I wish that I could kill you with the observation of that brat."
*Raigan mentions about the Aetheria who's been fighting (male) not the current Aetheria. In spite of the fact that this Aetheria is a female, she is still using the male body just to finish this match.
"How miserable, won't you just stand there and accept death?"
*Clash* – Beneath that strike, the sword has been destroyed, yet, Aetheria shows nothing that she would surrender. Taking out a pair of gauntlets and two knives from the inventory, Aetheria gives Raigan the best greeting for their first meet, a middle finger.
"I'll beat your *ss."
*Clash* – The blades clash into each other, sharply.
And again, Aetheria had failed 20 times. From the point of view of the observer, Aetheria only sees no chance in this situation. It wasn't the issue of power, Aetheria in the past had to assemble force just to save his family.
"At the age of fifteen, I felt like nothing could be helped."
"Why didn't you try to tell everyone to run away." – Aetheria has a prediction…
"I just couldn't. The rift always targeted my sisters."
"I see."
But then, he looks at Aetheria again, "Until…"
He came.
*Pat* – "Yo, call me brother-in-law."
He smiles, "That guy, he's incredibly strong."
Ah, he…
"This is when the memory of you was set at. Remember?" – He in the past steps forth and turns back, their eyes still meeting each other's.
"Dekron." – Calling it unconscious, the first light has pierced through that veil.
"At that moment, I wondered why there's an existence like him possible to exist." – He smiles. Laughing so hard, Aetheria admits that it's a fact.
"Don't you think it would be a happy ending if only he was there?" – A question comes from the silhouette.
"Probably."
*Crackle* – For one more time, Aetheria has to witness his eldest sister's death. In the highest tower of the castle, her corpse lay on the floor covered by fire. The eyes closed as if it was just a dream that she cruised over and if… it was just a nightmare that he could wake up from.
June eighteenth, six years to the past, when his eldest sister died, Aetheria was sent to despair. The special Semi-Calamity dimensional rift especially aimed to his sisters, the cracks of space always split Aeth away from backing up his sisters, the request for emergency assistance of The Holy Council to the Niliphon. All of them were the best evidence for Aeth to determine that nothing was usual.
"It was an intentional incident."
"The planned assassination hidden by the excuse of a disaster." – For the same time, Aeth and Aetheria speak up in unison.
"Oh, I thought that at least one of us can't hold back the anger." – Aeth jokes around. For the first look, Ian witnessed a devil-may-care guy. But after the longer time accompanying, he realized that Aeth was a kind of eccentric guy stuck on the line between introversion and extroversion. Yet, he wouldn't know that Aetheria also has this side of ease in interaction.
"A scream won't be able to help."
"Indeed."
At the point no one knows, the scene is already at the moment of division. The Holy Council was able to control the knights. In the old system, knights were a part of the Cathedral power. And then a rebellion divided them into two different councils.
Following the lead of Dekron, all two millions knights from all the ranks both swung their swords toward the statue of belief they had relied on.
They realized that their belief didn't change, it's all distorted beneath the authority of the Pontiff - Raigan. After one and a half years of fighting, the new balance among The Great Forces was built up.
Among the chaos sounds, the two Aetheria just stand there, among the devastation of many failed simulations. Indeed, after that day, since his eldest sister's death, Aetheria didn't try anymore. The longing was crumbled into dust, simulating a hypothetical for an impossible thing to be real just made no sense. He had given up.
Leaving the Grantey Clan where was no longer his home, Aetheria wandered through the inner seas* into the land of abundance – Niliphon. Yet, he felt nothing but the emptiness, he had lost his own reason to continue this life.
*Inner seas: The seas and borders dividing continents of Aegista.
Saying nothing, Aetheria stands there and keeps his eyes open. He knows that he surpassed this kind of period already, but somewhat he also didn't. He wants to dive in, but also draw a line in order not to immerse into the story. Even though his mind is clearly about observing, his heart is still beating strangely.
So strange. He says no word.
Aetheria in the past started wandering through all the lands of all four continents left. He learnt the history of an old kingdom built in a desert. He learnt how to evaluate and distinguish the ores, jewels and items through its quality of western lands. He learnt how to kill the anomalies in the crownless land. While all the stories were heard all along the journey. It could be a nice dream, yet, there's nothing but a gloom tinged with gray.
For the entire five decades of his life, Aetheria explored everything he could, just to fill up his empty heart. People said that music is the gift carrying the dearest desires of oneself and listening is the gift of god to mankind. And it indeed opened up a new volume of his life.
Keeping those feet landing on the lands where he had crossed, Aetheria held tight a lute along the journey back to his old land. And all was because of a dream he was driven into right at the border to death. Isolt, The Far Land of The North, far away to the north of Arezal. It was where Aetheria almost died in coldness and bleedy wounds.
At the line between dream and reality, he saw a silhouette of a god. No one could be that powerful in the flesh of a human, it couldn't be a normal creature.
"I swear with all my being. He is a god." – Continuing the story, Aetheria speaks up.
"A white hair only?" – Aeth can't actually see the whole appearance of the one called "god" in this scene.
"Of course, he is god. How can we truly capture and preserve the existence of a god?" – A sigh.
Hold this hand, then I'll grant you your wish.
"And then you, I mean, we really accepted the deal, didn't we?" – Aetheria can't believe that he in the past really did it without any second of hesitation.
"Why not? Granted a hope while living in darkness is nothing but a precious river across the desert."
"I guess."
"But, do you know his name?"
"Yujin."
"Yujin? Is there any god named like that?" – Aeth doesn't realize that appellation.
Aetheria shakes his head, he in the past didn't even try to double check the information or records in history books.
And he also doesn't know that Yujin will change his life in this timeline once and forever, far away from the destiny he's bound to.
Tempest, the west gate leading toward the thunderous skies and the wrath of outer seas*
*Outer seas: the wild seas covering the entire Aegista at the center, there are ten gates connecting them with the inner seas among continents.
And it's the direction he at the age of three kept the eyes toward. And on the fourteenth day of September, after entirely fifty two years of wandering alone, his feet again landed on this land – Lajuln.
"To the west, where the key you may find" was the guidance of Yujin for Aetheria at Isolt, short and clear, not a word of small talk.
As he said, at the west tower, also the highest one in the castle, he found a book, a runic book. And to the west, he set the second part of his journey to the outer seas. How brave.
Cruising through the seemingly endless oceans, passing through countless whirlpools and thunder strikes, Aetheria indeed experienced all the worst things he could try.
"Let's see… vomiting due to seasickness, nearly got scorched all over by lightning, nearly ending up inside that sea monster's belly, getting a tour of the digestion process…"
*Puff…*
*Hahaha* – "That's crazy. I wonder what it should be like if they try it right now."
"You mention Kura's team, don't you?"
"Ye, it's quite a pity that I won't be able to accompany." – Still looking at the storyline, Aeth exclaims.
*Clash* – Aetheria parries the Dragon Slayer Spear again, the first knife was destroyed already.
What's wrong with him? Is it perhaps the last time that his cutscene is much longer than others'?
*Clash* – Pinning to the ground beneath a downward strike again, Aetheria feels like her two arms are going to break apart.
Come on Aeth, please be quick!
"Hey, we waste too much time, we–"
"I know, but after all, it's the last time already."
"Eh?"
Aeth sits down on the white surface, "Don't worry, I planned everything already. So take time, because it's our last chance indeed."
A silence, then a sign, a suffocating sigh, "Alright, whatever."
*Fsh* – A beam of energy instantly pierces through the formation locking the Cathedral. It tears down to stretch a rift, drawing a path paved with fragments for her arrival. The hot-tempered lady in chapter seven, Fenryn.
"She'll be there." – He smiles.
"Fenryn? Didn't she struggle with the alternative memory?" – The old Aetheria wonders.
On the contrary, Aeth only smiles, "Because she is Fenryn."
She is the strongest freelancer I could rent at that point.
Spells: High Pressure (level 7) – High Pressure II (level 8)
Manipulating the mana particles, Fenryn instantly accumulates and compresses the insane force into the orb at the head of her staff.
*Clash* – Realizing the issue, Aetheria moved to parry the strike and Raigan moved to land a strike.
Spell: Explosive Water Bomb – the water element spell at level nine.
She rotates the staff to draw a magic circle mid-air, and when it again points toward the compressed water orb in front of her, it suddenly oscillates. Expanding then being compressed into the much smaller one, the output is currently insane.
*Clash* – Knocked back by the spear, the second knife has also broken. Yet, Aetheria instantly takes out another pair of them before the following attack arrives.
And at same time, the spell of the same element, the same level has been chanted in the chain.
Spell: Dragon Head–
The water whirlpool spins and covers the orb inside, all starting from the magic circle. Following it, a head of a dragon instantly forms. It holds tight the orb inside the jaws. And then…
–Water Beam!
The special formation of duo highest level spells in chained link has been released with the massive beam of high pressure water shooting forward.
Have you ever heard of cavitation? The phenomenon is caused by the emptiness among water if it's moving too fast. The pressure instantly goes low to almost none and then everything collapses to fill up that emptiness. In short, it causes the devastation upgraded to another level with countless little bubbles inside the beam.
And that's why she casted another spell at level seven of the lightning element.
Spell: Blue Thunder Strike.
They called it like this for the color made from this phenomenon. To explain it, the electric arc starts ionizing the air into plasma with the energy it carries. Which means it's really powerful to the normal grade seven monsters.
Indeed, to compare, it's around 3000 to 20000 celsius when the electric arc dances over the air and ionizes it to the blue plasma stream.
With this support, the lightning just nicely and neatly accumulates all the bubbles into one line inside the beam. Moreover, the lightning can cause the collapse to occur more intensely. In other words, Fenryn can destroy Raigan entirely with that beam if he doesn't use Guard.
*Splash* – And even if he does, the bubbles keep devastating everything continuously as acid non-stop eroding metal.
*Tack* – A finger snaps and the lightning inside the beam starts unleashing itself. With the compressed water and lightning burst, the insane heat is indeed created inside the beam. Consequently the entire beam evaporated to a big cloud of steam and ionized plasma.
Rotating the staff above her head, the mana particles around her instantly accumulate at the center. Right in front of Fenryn, Aetheria is accumulating more and more mana particles to the formation drawn on the floor.
And I guess you prepared these things for us. Taking out ten potions of dense, high quality mana liquid, Aetheria breaks them all to surround them with mana.
And at the same time, Heavenly Song! Aphenim has been activated.
In the perfect condition of no mana loss due to the formation and the first spell casted by Fenryn.
Spell level six, lightning element: Burst – Instantly exchanging all the mana particles into lightning element with no delay.
*Crack* – Pinning the staff toward the ground, it smashed everything to fragments, even the formation.
"Crack the silence" – Fenryn chants and Aetheria has moved.
Spells: Boost (level 7) => Boost II (level 8) => Boost III (level 9)
The fast casting of three charging spells instantly forms a chain of three magic circles right in front of her.
"Shatter this firmament!" – The output has been maximized.
For the first time, the level ten spell has been casted.
Doesn't waste time, Aetheria puts all the fragments forward. With the carved details, she swiftly reforms it to the brand new one. The field of spells are seemingly infinite, there is also a class majority drawing magic circles to boost the strike of teammates with simple to complex steps.
And Aeth's memory fragment given to Aetheria is absolutely perfect.
You are a genius, Aeth. Finishing her work, she throws the fragments away and leaves the circle mid-air. Aetheria instantly dashes aside to leave an open space for the mage.
120% Boost, don't waste it. Grabbing the daggers, she transfers as much Aura as possible into the weapons.
Spell level 10, lightning element: Thunder of Destruction!
*Fsh!* – Tearing the air apart, within a touch, even plasma turns to the mixed white and cyan color. In evaluation, it has already reached fifty thousand celsius in total. To be fair, even a top tier monster in a Semi-Calamity Grade Rift might remain nothing if it takes this beam directly in close range.
And when I say it's about a close range, it's really a bursting spell. Which means the power will be reduced after flying such a distance. So, that's why Fenryn has prepared the electrostatic cloud of steam around Raigan.
Two seconds have passed in total and the strike has finally arrived at its destination.
*Boom* – It has detonated.
Time for lesson!
Spellcasters is a term to mention whoever cast spells, no matter the input energy. Classic mages term mentions who cast spells by using mana particles.
Yet, classic mages also have two major kinds of style. If you see a mage manipulating elements like water from rivers, oceans or fire elements in a blazing flame… They are called elementalists.
Elementalists have the advantage of mana cost. Their fighting style is manipulating the resources of their surroundings, it indeed doesn't take them a high cost of mana to do the work. However, the manipulated power is all from nature, it's free to use, but also belongs to nature.
Let's say it's like this, if an elementalist shoots a water beam, he can't exchange it to other elements mid-action. On the other hand, mages can do it based on the nature of mana particles – exchangeable to any element particles.
It also solves the question about the water and thunder combo of Fenryn. Because they were all the products of mana particles, the electrical conductivity was fairly maximized.
Nevertheless, mages can't abuse the advantages of the resources as well as elementalists. Imagine it's like this, an elementalist can set many traps with plenty of rock spikes at the high height. Abusing the gravity, they can destroy a large scale of surface if successful.
To compare, mages can't do the same trick with the expected power. Objects made by mana don't really weigh the same as the actual materials. If so, the mana cost is crazy to deal with. Moreover, to maintain the mana created objects, it's just like dealing with the Aura cost of using Mold.
Furthermore, the field of elementalists has a low barrier to entry but an insanely high skill ceiling to actually do something special. Putting them all on a scale, elementalists can abuse the surroundings to cast spells faster but the limit of resources can also backlash them. Destroying the environment's advantages, taking control of the resources better than the targets, eliminating them before they could do something,... Their advantages are too clear to see that it'd be counted as their disadvantages too.
Unfortunately, in this era of recession, around 70% of spellcasters have to give up before they can really achieve something as mages. Then they have two options, staying at their limit or changing to elementalists for another chance. This era is a desert lacking rain, and talents are the scarce drops of water given to those who are worthy.
And Fenryn is actually a river crossing out that drought land, a genius promoted by Magic Academy Franciska of the Cala Empire. In short, Umbral Class Mage is the practical scale for her power currently.
*Crackle* – It sounds like something's being burnt. When the entire cloud of steam fades away, the truth has been revealed. Pointing the Dragon Slayer spear forth, Raigan sacrificed almost his entire left arm to negate that strike of thunder.
*Fuhahaha* – "Crazy, how crazy. I thought that brat was the only one who could send me this near to death."
*Crackle* – His wound is being non-stop broken down with plenty of charred pieces of flesh. He is approaching, slowly.
"This vessel is already on its way to destruction." – The sound of sparks nonstop clang around, along the floor that blade cuts through.
Until he's now standing face to face with Fenryn, "Shall we end this show?"
*Vrm* – Aura Shifting, Fenryn instantly moves to the right with a perfect arcing trajectory.
*Clash* – Deflecting the spear away, Aetheria approaches Raigan with her knives to take down his guard.
*Fsh* – Light element spell, quick cast: Laser (level 4)
And because of her lacking advantage of long-term spells, especially tick-based ones like Laser, she can't launch a powerful beam as Rudy. Yet, it's still enough to burn Raigan's left arm half way down to the ground.
Light element spell, quick cast: Light Orb – level 1
Following her movement, a shiny orb forms itself mid-air, in front of her.
Light element spell, quick cast: Brightening Wave – level 2
Instantly, the orb explodes and releases a big and dense wave of light particles into the air.
Fast as thunder, she casts another spell: Multiple Light Orbs – level 3
Concentrating mid-air, the small particles form ten light orbs after draining a big amount of Fenryn's mana.
And then, she applies another spell in quick cast: Light Swords – level 4
Of course, those ten orbs instantly form ten swords themselves and indeed chase Raigan right after.
*Fsh* – It's not the same but apart alike. Mana made water doesn't weigh as much as natural water on the same scale but they both can extinguish the fire. So, light mana strikes can move as fast as normal light in the condition of the air environment.
The light element is quite complex. As I said, element particles can simulate the nature of each element it's exchanged to. Light mana particles can exchange between mass and velocity. In a beam strike, if Fenryn sets velocity 100% and mass 0%, the spells will move as fast as light speed and vice versa. And the heavier the strikes are, the more mana spent as cost to shoot them effectively.
*Mass created by mana particles, light mana particles, creates effective mass, written as M(eff). It's not the actual mass so some parts of normal physics can't apply to it indeed.
In the case of light swords. We can imagine it like this:
You are going to code a model of a tree and its leaves. You don't want to spend your whole life just writing a code for each leaf on that tree.
So you would set a loop to solve the problem…
Please tell me you would in that case, I swear jobless demon would've been scared of you if you'd say no.
And based on the loop function, instead of mobilizing and assembling ten thousand light mana particles and starting linking them one by one as a jobless guy with his 100% potential in free time, Fenryn can set two particles very close together. Then she links it as usual and duplicates the group of two particles until it's good enough to use. For the sword form, she only needs to make a frame and reshape that dense structure of light mana particles with the frame.
The structure is very dense for each sword and the connection between particles is also unshakable. As a piece of fact, the structure tapering from the center to the edge makes the sword seemingly sharper.
And the ratio between mass and velocity, M:V, was set at 100:0 indeed. It caused the ten swords shooting themselves with the speed of light.
*Splash* – Of course, they only left some whatever cuts on Raigan's body due to his Guard being on. But they're also the baits, also the mark.
*Bling* – Surrounding him, the ten light portals. At the same time, Fenryn calls out a barrage of light bullets shooting toward Raigan.
M:V = 80:20, which allows her to launch a massive mass toward the target.
*Boom* – Also, the bullets are quite slow right now. We explain it like this, the formula is Mana Cost is proportional to Effective Mass multiply to square velocity. All she did was reusing the mana used to make those ten swords before. So it's not that powerful by the way.
However, they're still the baiting move since Aetheria has approached her enemy with the shield piercing daggers. Items are whatever forged with special materials for special powers attached into them. But there's an abandoned technique to carve one's Ability into an item or a weapon counted as a crime like Chimera merging ritual.
In fact, Algamos, the knife that Yone's currently using was also forged while using that technique. And guess what, the material was his own father's flesh and soul.
"Worth it." – He might say.
And as I said, the Aura input that can reach the 200% maximum output through one Ability is the ceiling of energy collapse. And the final product is called Ultimate Move.
Left dagger, Ability: Cross Slashes – Ultimate Move: Cross Slashes!
*It indeed has an extra "!" at the end and bypasses the shield of Aura, as known as Guard.
Right dagger, Ability: `Resonance – Ultimate Move: Synchronization
To do Cross Slashes! Aetheria must swing the left dagger twice vertically and horizontally with a perfect intersection point at the middle of each slash. Basically it doubles the output itself. However, with Synchronization, Aetheria can launch the second slash as an alternative with extra 100% output adding up into the combo, which means 300% in total.
*Splash* – And right then, it has been cut.
Bush camping even without the bushes, Hazan has finally revealed himself. Following that action, a thousand cuts on Adevon's body instantly shines up the space around him.
Through each slash, Hazen always carves into the wound his Aura. And because of its static stability, it's really hard for Adevon to release the attached bombs on the body.
Furthermore, Hazen has been using an upgraded version of Fade, which is called Null.
*Fade: Recalling all Aura to hide away from the tracking like Zone and normal Sight.
*Null: Lowering or stopping the heartbeat to erase the trace of oneself from all five senses.
The danger of Null is the capability to allow the users using their own Aura while their hearts stop beating. The movement of Aura can be fast or slow based on the users' skill issue, but there's one point that always makes it dangerous – their Aura movement is silent as if there's no Aura instead. That solves the question how Adevon couldn't realize the bombs and he's been being cut.
Larizupi indeed has only three official moves. Yet, Hazen also invented more than that. The fourth move: Second Impact, which simply works as a detonator to turn all the wounds full of Aura on the targets to grenades.
*Kaboom* – Heavily breathing in and out, Hazen gets back to the team formation after around 20 seconds of using Null. It means that his heart has stopped beating for 20 seconds. The pressure of the entire process can take down one newbie at National Hunter rank, now is together falling on his body.
"Back up!" – Deflecting the wind slashes by his first move, Hazen is dragged backward by Kura just to stay out of that deadly attacking range. And right before stepping back, he whispered something into Kura's left ear.
"That's too close for two guys staying near each other." – Adevon bypasses all the road blocks and approaches his targets.
Changing the total number of guys staying too close to each other from two to three.
*Thud* – That action just straight up gave Kura a chance to throw his knee strike toward that face of the demon. Grabbing that head right after, he even drives his headbutt into the same target, not once, but thrice.
*Smash* – Doing the same thing, Adevon crashed Kura's forehead into a mess with bloody flesh. Non-stop, he's on his way to drive the second hit.
*Smack* – Another second has passed, it's currently a 142600x multiplier already. That kick was fast as hell, even Adevon can't catch up with it.
"How the h–"
*Smack* – Another kick shoots him flying away, Yone follows with a rushing movement toward. Frame Skipping, he's currently approaching the demon with the third kick.
*Splash* – Predicting the movement, Adevon launched three slashes to cut down at least that brat's leg. And with that disadvantage, Yone clearly can't skip the frames again due to the disappearance of his leg.
And that's nothing but a free chance for Adevon to split him into two parts by hand.
Bathing in the rain of blood, "How fresh it is."
Item: Effigy
*Smack* – "Torun!"
Unlimited Capacity: 500% maximum output.
*Boom* – Straight at his spine, Adevon takes a massive explosion enough to tear him apart.
That penetrating blast! Did he just unlock Etheron?
*Smack* – Realizing the same thing, Yone obviously is smiling in distortion.
Was it just… stronger? Torun moves back after shooting three bullets toward Adevon. He also realizes that his attacks were improved in destructive power themselves.
But, was it really?
"Remember that feeling." – Performing a kick mid-air, Yone pushes Adevon away with an extra wound by his dagger at the heart.
"Do it again."
*Smack* – He drives a punch forward, "Then you can cheat with your ultimate move."
*Smack* – Right after that, Adevon also drives a strike toward that face, "I see."
Throwing Yone away, he rushes toward Torun with the claws wrapped by the deadly winds.
*Smack* – Frame Skipping again, of course another kick just delivers nice and neat.
*Fshh* – And right at that moment, the same miracle occurred on the battlefield of the west. The entire field instantly is filled up by the freezing breathes and ice stakes. They pierced through the darkness on the ground, as flowers blooming in the night, they shine up with hazy lights.
*For those flowers which grow or bloom at night, they always release a hazy light as the moon (Aurorize).
Building up the barriers for domains like building up houses without detailed calculations and design drawings, pure imagination. But there's always someone trying to find another way to do the same thing. By creating the anchors by Aura for a frame. And via that frame, just try again to weave the Aura into the space structure.
For explanation, space capturing is a concept that can't be explained or taught all in words. It's based on the perception of the casters, that's why simulating a framework helps the casters a bit in their imaginations of space structure.
Yet, there's also another way to build up a barrier without the condition of space capturing. Indeed, a room, a cave or whatever is fairly discreet to alternate the barrier.
This kind of incomplete domain doesn't require intertwining Aura into the space structure, nor capturing the space inside the barrier.
Advantage: Low skill floor.
Disadvantages: Aura cost is high due to the continuous Aura loss and no sure-hit strike or effect is able inside that incompleted domain.
If you guys still have no idea about the reason for a barrier to be needed, it prevents the Aura loss with a low cost to maintain. Space is an abysmal solvent for Aura and barrier (space intertwined) is a closed storage.
Also, Aura is hard to maintain outside of the Aura users' bodies if they're not manipulators. All because of the space nature.
The second alternative is purely an Aura field built by a bunch of Aura to overwhelm the opponents. To compare, if this incomplete domain is activated inside a true domain, its protection is only enough to weaken the sure-hit strikes/effects of the true domain. In short, it's an alternative for Simplified Domain: Instant Domain with a higher cost. Of course, for exchange, this kind of incomplete domains have a better scale compared to Instant Domain Technique.
Thankfully, Leo still intertwined his Aura into the space structure after creating anchors and well using them. Which means it just took him a longer process to spread his domain, it's still a completed domain as nature.
Domain Expansion: In the Winter, Blooming Flowers
In the blizzard of snowflakes scrolling around, the first flower has bloomed. It has five petals, then ten, then a beautiful white spider lily blooms over the ice floor and inside the blizzard. It's straight, growing up from the ice crystal as a masterpiece.
Following a wave of moonlight, an eden was built up for her, a girl that forever stopped at the age of seventeen.
Flowing next to Leo, who is casting the domain with his special hand gesture, an Eidolon made of ice essence in the shape of a young lady with two bright eyes covered by a crystal veil.
*Eidolon: A spirit made of essence (Aura) that can switch between spiritual and physical forms. It carries no soul inside, purely a vessel of Aura and a weapon with special power related to the sculptors' abilities.
Carrying the name of the little sister destined to leave this world in the most beautiful age of her life, the Eidolon slightly touches his shoulders. It's beautiful, it's nostalgic but it's too good to be true. Those hands are soft, as the bygone days have passed, but they're cold – a reminder of the fact that she's no longer here, with him…
Calla is the name of that short-lived young lady, she was named by the flower of the same appellation. In the night of the moonless sky, besides the love and the well protection, the only gift her parents could do was blessing and praying her death may come in peace.
In the language of flower, Calla Lily is an embodiment of a peaceful departure. A wish was the only thing they could do.
Was it hurt? Yes.
What could they do? Nothing, indeed.
"Bloom." – Following his call, the entire Eden is filled up by thousands of white spider lilies. The petals are perfect, they disseminate the light hazy as the moon. But they're all glacial, the perfection of each petal indeed painted a marvel, but everything is too perfect, so unreal. It isn't real, it's just a part of a story reconstructed where Leo can look back to the last day they were together.
Some days, we'll meet again. I promise.
*Fshh* – Right at the moment his domain is finished, the second ability has been activated. It's named after Calla. In fact, until the day she left this world in peace, her ability wasn't awakened yet. She didn't name it, she didn't know about it, but she knew that her promise would be real in some days.
Because she had no idea, also the power she might have, so her name was granted to it as a gift.
An Ability will evaporate when one's life reaches the end of life. Yet, there's also exceptions. For the hankering even outrunning the hands of death, one's ability can still exist in the world with the overtime increase in quality. And that's how Leo gets this second ability.
Calla (The Glacial Sculptor): It allows him to manipulate everything made by ice inside this domain at will, without a delay applied on itself.
The requirement that allows Leo to activate this hidden Ability is totally building up a complete domain with a barrier and a captured space by Aura. And because it's that kind of restricted requirement, the trade off is also abundant indeed.
Etheron is also integrated into Calla Eidolon, which means avoiding damage by changing to essence form is now vulnerable to Har. Unluckily, Har wasn't taught about Etheron last week.
"Nah, I postponed it intentionally. He needs basic practices first. It's not true that I'm lazy." – That is definitely what she might say to avoid taking charge of this issue.
"I've been waiting for this moment." – Sealing his hands together, despite the sword stabbing through his neck, Har's still continuing his movement.
Suddenly recalling the dense darkness toward his exact coordinate, surrounding the barrier of the domain. His idea is really easy to understand, if someone pops up a domain, just break it if you fail escaping at the start.
*Crk* – The small sound of something being cracked slightly, it's a warning to Leo that he can't lengthen this fight any longer. Matching that brain, Har also rushes forward with his gauntlets and a bunch of corpses for meat shields.
Well, bone shields for more accurate terms.
However, he doesn't know that the action of mobilizing the darkness just reveals a critical weakness for Orighith. After the darkness had been shifted to the other side, a thick conduit was made to link it with The Merged Shadow Beast – Orighith. Exactly, it means that Orighith needs to stay connected to the shadow field, or it'll be canceled after a specific amount of time.
"Go!" – At all the battlefields, everyone has started rushing toward the enemies they have to face. Even Aetheria is on her way too.
Among the sparks clashing by metal blades, Aetheria moves as a dancer dodging to the very close slashes launching toward her. Following right next to the dancer, Fenryn is non-stop casting a lot of light spells to deflect the strike of Raigan, opening more options for Aetheria to move.
Incredibly, their movements are just too perfect as if they're born just to support each other right at this moment. Raigan has two spears, each time he swings one, he must do a full swing for practical damage.
Come on guys, a spear is a weapon for two hands.
And with that limit, Aetheria clearly has a better speed in attack. Also, her weapons are two daggers, which are simply better in close fight, especially this is a match of two individuals at the hypersonic+ speed level themselves. Fenryn, also reaching the speed of mach 60 by Aura Boosting Technique, is currently following each movement on the battle with light spells locked and loaded.
Nevertheless, the seal that Aeth applied on Raigan is starting to evaporate over time. Negating Arcane Forces, spells and 70% Aura output of Raigan. Even though this is just a vessel, it's still strong enough to be a threat of the entire island.
Nerfing him this hard for minutes, it's such an incredible achievement already.
So wake up already, Aeth!
"This is… Zone 1?" – Painting over his mind, a crazy great forest of wild beasts stands right in front.
"Ye, dinosaurs are regular in Zone 1, but a single individual can still reach the threat of S level." – Sitting down, Aetheria in the past speaks up really carefree.
"So our destination was Zone 1?"
"No, it's the main line of Grantey Clan, located in a special space-bent zone between Zone two and three. Around 79600 kilometers from the west gate."
"And she was chosen, wasn't she?" – Mentioning that the girl has the same name as him.
"Yes." – Pointing at the book he carried in the scene.
"There are twelve books like that. Twelve Prophecies of Aurorize are written in those relics."
Aeth looks like he's unlocked something, "Prophecies?"
"Yes, I don't know why they're made. But I can make sure that we must keep them running." – A nod, he says.
"Was that a guide from Yujin?"
"No, it's all my sense. I can't explain it to you, but you'll get it soon. At the point of view where I was."
In front of him, a middle-aged woman was lying on the cold bed, waiting for death.
The truth is often painful, "You know what, Aeth? Fiona accepted death as a bait to deceive 'them' before everything started."
"What are you talking about? Who are 'them' you mentioned?" – He wonders why he's no longer surprised with this information.
The silence runs through them, Aetheria in the past realizes that he's evaporating, which means…
A laughter, "It seems like my time has come."
"..." – Indeed, Aeth can feel the same thing. The guy yapping with him is just an echo of memories. The closer Aeth gets back to his hidden past, the closer to dissolution his past silhouette is sent.
He laughs and nudges his elbow toward the true Aetheria, "Come on. I'm going to leave, don't you have something to say?"
"..."
"Why?"
"Hmm?" – As if they are facing each other at a round table, so suffocating.
Still keeping his head facing down, "Why did Fiona's death become canon?"
"Because one of The Twelve Prophecies must be saved." – Without delay, Aetheria replies with no hesitation.
His eyes are too serious, as if it's a bet he's granted all his life to.
Ridiculous!
"Is… that… so?" – Enunciating each word sharply with a not good manner, Aeth can't accept that answer and manner. How?
How can he look so composed? Fiona… FIONA!
But at that moment, his finger has reached the heart position. And that action just wakes Aeth up from all the hatred he carries.
"Listen, myself. Life and Death is a circle and it's necessary for this world to keep up on its journey. I don't want it to happen too, yet, who would do it if Fiona didn't?" – A light smile, there's always things that need acceptance and letting go.
"Aeth, even this second chance was traded by a contract with Yujin. You may feel terrible, but this is your choice from the last life, don't waste it."
"We are at the end, already..."
*Crack* – Everything shatters down as broken skies. There's no longer Aetheria suffering the repeated death of Fiona, nor the desire to save the sister. Hatred is all left in his mind, he wonders why.
"You are obsessed by that thought, Aetheria." – A familiar voice calls him.
"Y… Yujin?" – Opening his eyes, Aetheria finally sees through the veil, reaching to the true aspect of the god.
"You have two options. Keep digging into the forgotten past, or wake up and help everyone." – Giving out his two hands, each stands for a different option. Yujin looks straight at Aeth with an unpredictable manner. Of course, he gives no guidance for Aeth, this must be his choice after all.
"Hey, can I ask you a question?" – Calmly, he asks.
"Sure you can."
*Hah* – A deep breath he takes in and breathes out. He remembers what he's told.
If this was my choice. If…
"What did I wish for?" – With a clear gaze, he looks at Yujin with nothing left to lose.
I want to know what it was and if it really was mine.
…
You–
At the Cala Empire, in the court of the supreme council. This special event only occurs when a threat, an event or a judge related to someone that can threaten the balance between The Three Great Forces. As known as, The Court of Finality.
At the dock, a handsome guy with yellow hair that looks definitely like the main character is standing still. With a smile hanging over his face, he's waiting.
"Based on the rules, no one in The Great Three Forces can lay a hand on this problem." – The Chief Justice of the Cala Empire speaks up.
"I'm aware, but don't you all just stand there and do nothing to the devil summoning formation?" – He proceeds.
*Tok! Tok!* – Slamming the gavel twice, he looks to the left.
The representatives of The Hunter Council and The Tower of Mages have nothing to say.
Then he looks to the right, "The representative of The Holy Council."
A middle-aged high nun stands up, "We acknowledge the situation and we wish that the issue can be solved as fast as possible."
He skips the representative of Alchemist Merchant because that guy in fact is sleeping.
"I just stay here to make up the numbers, never mind." – That's what he said before the seminar.
*Tok! Tok!* – The Chief says, "Your request is sustained."
"Consultation, the reinforcement must be sent in the next half an hour, what do you think?" – The Chief asks.
An Exclusive Hunter says, "I, Laran, the representative of The Hunter Council, have no objection to the order."
*Yawn~* – "I, Harry, have no objection." – Throwing away the standard manner that must have in the court, the representative of The Alchemist Merchant speaks up.
"I, Zunpa, the representative of The Tower of Mage, have no objection to the order." – An archmage of Sage level ends this short consultation.
*Tok! Tok!* – "Approved. You–"
*Vsh* – Just waiting for that result, he instantly disappears before the final line is finished up. Leaving the Chief of Justice a desire to break his old junior fellow disciple's neck.
*Sigh* – A heavy sigh, "Alright, move on."
The court has ended and they've started moving.
Especially when that guy has stepped on the dormitory for the nobility in Cala Academy. He bypasses the entire protection and evades the building. Despite the weird gazes of the girls, he walks straight up to the highest floor and finds the first room.
*Knock* – "Are you here?"
"It's just morning dude." – He opens the door, revealing a guy living in the female dormitory.
"Yo, I've heard that you feel bored of the fight quality." – Straight up to the problem, he offers a deal.
"Oh, have you found something special?"
A smile, "An anomaly and a devil of Marchio rank bounded in a Baro Veneratus vessel."
As soon as he finishes the line, that dark purple-haired guy just changes clothes with the speed of light and kisses goodbye to the girl sleeping on the bed.
"How sweet, don't even forget to kiss goodbye to your girl?" – Mocking, he says.
"Look, such a single dog cries for being lonely right there, honey." – He kisses her again.
*Mo~* – Pushing that face away, she turns to the other side to continue her dream, "Let me alone."
"Alright alright, I'll be right back."
"Last time you made me wait two days indeed."
*Ahah* – That sounds really awkward, he can't do much but smile and go away.
"Hey, take this one." – Still lying lazily, she throws an item to her boyfriend.
"Record the fight, don't forget it."
"Alright, I'll be back." – Putting a polished dark coat on, he and his friend instantly bend the space to do a teleportation.
"Bye bye~"
"I'll do the anomaly." – The dark purple-haired guy has already aimed for his prey.
"I have no issue with that, then I'll do the demon." – The yellow-haired guy speaks up.
His portfolio is really nothing special, clearing a Semi-Calamity Dimensional Rift at the west of Niliphon – The Great Land Jura; participating in three rampages of a Calamity Dimensional Rift for two years; graduating Cala Academy at the age of thirteen due to his insane power of Aura; eliminating all the anomalies from west to north Niliphon.
The massive anomaly hunting was the reason why anomalies all moved to The Great Dead Forest but only 30% survived through that slaughtering. This dude also joined that event at the age of fifteen. And surprisingly it's just four years ago.
So, let's introduce again. This yellow-haired guy is called Rudolf, his birth was a blessing of Heaven. Among the light that fell down over the skies, a Heavenly Sigil was given.
As I said, here's the desert where water drops are talents granted to the chosen ones. But this guy has actually an "ocean" compared to normal others.
*Vroom* – The two gates instantly appear in the sky at two locations.
*Boom* – Landing on the battlefield of the west, Yuurei stands still among the dust and winds. He has arrived on a hill nearby the glacial domain covered by shadow.
"Hmm, interesting."
*Smack* – Catching the fist thrown to him mid-air, Yuurei doesn't even care about the disruption at all.
The one who dares to fight him is Moon, the current trainer of Har. Indeed, she's been waiting right here at the start, to cover Har whenever he's sent to death. Yet, it seems like she needs to prepare for her safety first right now.
"Who are you?" – Taking out three relics and a weapon, Moon carefully maintains the distance between them.
"Huh? You are not my prey this time, get lost." – He swiftly flicks the item above and activates it to record the fight of Orighith with Paragon and Alan.
These two guys have potential.
"Interrupting people when they're fighting, isn't it rude?" – Still probing, Moon has already entered her fighting mode.
"Ah~" – Stretching his shoulders, Yuurei approaches Moon with no rush and defends awareness of the Terra Moon Assassin in front.
A face to face situation, "Are you going to stop me?"
…
*Bang* – Swinging her strike with all the power and speed, Acertia strongly starts the match with her strongest base strike to the skull of Yuurei. It's strong enough to send him flying away at the speed of mach 80.
*Boom* – The crash just straight up breaks down other three hills just to stop him at the river after churning up a massively long distance to the north.
Rushing to that direction, Acertia doesn't feel great just because of staying on top of the fight. She knows that it's just the beginning.
*Vsh* – Right next to her, Yuurei has already flicked himself to the same coordinate of her faster than a blink.
*Boom* – Slamming her down on the ground within a kick, Yuurei also lands on the ground after flowing forth a bit due to the inertia. While recovering the wounds on that body, Yuurei approaches the deep hole he just made with such a carefree manner.
"Forcing me to unlock the third phase in one strike, you're strong." – Evaluating the dessert of this meal, he recognizes that power.
*Thud* – Leaping up from the ground, Acertia approached with a strike at his solar plexus at the speed of mach 130 by a step. Yet, it damages nothing to the slender body of Yuurei.
F* what is this? He isn't that muscular, but why?
Why my fist can't even move forth?
"Don't be surprised." – Grabbing her head, he says.
Slamming it down to the ground again, "A Terra Moon like you shouldn't be able to win against my third phase."
He also leans against her ear, "Didn't three crews of three Terra Moon come back after they tried to complete the assassination at Cala?"
Opening wide her eyes, indeed, there was a request to kill the princess of Cala Empire hanged on the mission board – Upper Moon rank. Based on the difficulty, The Eclipsed Moon sent three crews of Terra Moons, eight for each, and three Celestial Moon to do it. Yet, it's been two months, they haven't come back. Because of that issue, the mission is currently disabled until the three crews come back.
Don't tell me!
"Yes, it's me." – Pressing her down even harder.
"I killed them all."
*Vsh* – On the contrary, Rudolf lands himself very softly, he doesn't want to bother others. Looking around, he finally catches the trace of Black Aura inside a barrier.
Domain? Is there someone who's fighting it?
Instantly an explosion blows everything up behind him. Among the dust, Phoenix reveals himself with the blazing body of flames.
"Who are you?"
"Rudolf, I'm here to help end this situation." – With a smile, he replies.
"Oh, thanks. Is it the verdict of the Cala Court of Finality?"
"Of course, the reinforcements of Alchemist Merchant, Hunter Council, Tower of Mages and Nuns will be there in two more minutes at least." – Rudolf shrugs.
Then he points to the domain floating over the summoning gate, "How many guys there are?"
"Five in total. We tried to help but the barrier is one-way. It can only be broken inside out or collapsed by time." – Phoenix heals himself with the potions.
"I see. It seems like you all are doing great in limiting the gate." – Rudolf drops a fist of his Holy Aura straight down on the gate, in order to close it half way.
"I hope it'll be useful to help you guys a bit."
Then he turns back, "Also, where are the injured guys? I'll heal them."
On the contrary, Phoenix just shakes his head, "No thanks, we have enough healing potions for that issue."
"Alright, then I'll leave. This clone will announce everything to me while I'm away, don't worry, I can back up very fast if there's an issue." – Rudolf splits his Holy Aura into a one to one clone.
"Thanks." – Also leaving, Phoenix needs to get back his position in the formation. Don't forget that the main reason that the summoning gate can't spread out is the existence of the seal Diamond Knights set up before. With the defeats of the Guardians, Holy Knights have nothing left to do but replace Diamond Knights for better sealing effect. Also the other knights have chances to fight with devil spirits escaping from the gate.
The situation was in balance for each side. But since Rudolf helped once, the Knights now have time to breathe.
*Crack* – Breaking into the Cathedral, Rudolf walks straight to the statue of the Cherubim set behind the Seraphim one.
"Rudolf!?" – Reacting to that movement, Raigan instantly escapes the siege of two brats. Rushing toward Rudolf, he swings his two spears with the maximum strength he has currently.
*Swish!* – Even the wind is cut and burnt to plasma beneath that raw physical speed. The shockwaves are all bursted just to catch a hope of pushing Rudolf away from that statue. Attack potency is the damage oneself can launch, destructive capacity is the destruction scale of the attack. With the rumble that can blow all the hallway into nothing, the two spears clash into each other at the blades – starting the devastation on its own.
*Bang* – He spread his hand out and pushed it forward. The impact crashed straight to the torso of Raigan, breaking all the bones and two joints at the shoulders.
*Crack* – Crashing straight at the wall, Rudolf sent enough Aura just to keep Raigan alive in that vessel body and protect the Cathedral wall. After all, this is where he used to grant his belief to.
"You aren't strong enough in that body to stay in front of me, Raigan."
*Cough* – He coughs drily.
*Ugrh!* – Then a lot of blood spits out of that throat.
*Hah… hah…* – "F* it. It's just been two years."
Lying on the ground, Raigan's struggling, "What are you aiming for?"
"Isn't it my question to you? What are you planning on?" – Rudolf heals the torn throat of Raigan for good.
*Ha… haha* – "Why don't you just ask your Seraphim? Why don't you ask about the unfairness between you damn genius and others?"
Sounds very angry, Raigan stands up with the blue flame of Hell burning himself.
"Whatever, I care not. Let's talk about it later." – He turns back and continues his work. After a touch, a secret door reveals itself.
"But you must survive first."
You wanted the second chance, to at least change a thing.
A thing, which one? Fiona's death? But… I already failed.
I…
Don't let the emotions take over you. Think about it, at the age of eighty, Arezal.
Ah… Arezal.
Twenty two years after the day he met Aetheria lying on her bed near death, they descended! At the crownless continent, the first embodiment of outer god appeared in the sky. And it took the legion of the entire Agestia to stop that cataclysm, yet, the price was still the entire north continent and two Grand Sages.
And at that moment of despair, he again gave out his hand.
Aetheria's memory instantly kicks in.
White hair, those eyes. Wait! Yujin?
"You!?" – Aeth constantly stares at Yujin, waiting for confirmation.
He wasn't me, it's another story. But didn't you want to prevent that cataclysm from happening again?
"Yes, I do."
Then what are you waiting for?
Giving out two hands again, one for going back, one for keep going.
Choose your path, my warrior.
I…
Reaching his hands out, Aeth has a decision already.
Didn't you say it's my longing? Didn't you say that I wanted to change something?
If it's true. If this is my second chance!
*Bang* – Deflecting the piercing strike from Raigan, Aetheria launches a combo with his two daggers again with 300% additional maximum output. Taking out the relic, he finally uses the third slot – Ultimate Move: Parallel Existences
With this power, the contradiction among one self and two souls is no longer the matter. With this limit finally being negated, they are now able to use their own powers.
If this was my choice, I'll finish it no matter what!
